Last night me and a bunch of my friends went and saw "Harry Potter 6, The Half Blood Prince" at midnight! We all made T-shirts and headbands and put Harry Potter scars on our foreheads, The woman at the ticket booth just went "Hahaha how many for harry potter?" ...Yeah I'm ssoooooo cool...

Harry potter is an awful wizard. He can't do anything by himself except get himself killed. Harry Dresden is a magnificent wizard. He can't do anything by himself either, but at least he gets cool injuries and stuff. And didn't die. Ever.

At the lonely end of the rink... I saw it last night with my girlfriend and a few of her friends. It was excellent. I didn't feel like it was a very long movie and some parts could've been better, but I enjoyed it overall. ...you and me.

I went to see the HP:HBP at the midnight opening, so hyped up and nearly drooling from my mouth from the excitement I thought this going the be the best HP movie yet because the book was soooo awesome. But I was sadly disappointed and I'm truely sorry to say this, but to me, my mom, few of my friends that seen the movie with me, and ppl that was in the theater thought it was the worst Harry Potter movie ever. I mean not even half the book wasn't in the movie and most of the important parts was just left out to dry. And I was so looking forward the Dumbledore funeral at the end because it was like wow in the book, but instead I got something that wasn't even in the book as the ending just bloody great.
If you didn't read the book it would be great and awesome movie to you, but to ppl who had read it was just sucked. I understand the budget and how much you could sqeeze into a 3 hour movie (forget how long it was), but still it was like whoever wrote the script didn't even tried or like he/she scanned throu the book and put whatever he/she could remember.

At the lonely end of the rink... Dumbledore's death not being shown in the movie made me pretty upset when I got out. With the technology filmmakers have nowadays, I thought that they would've made it to be a beautiful scene and instead, they didn't even show it. It would've been a nice way to end the movie. ...you and me.

Iv never seen a movie that was better than the book or a lot like the book, so I'm use to it. It did suck that they took out Dumbledore's funeral. And iv read all 7 books.

Agreed. My sister and I were saying that they should make one version for the real HP fans, and then edit some scenes out for the not real ones. Like they did with LOTR, I have the first one of that and it is waaaaay better. With Lord of the rings, they made they normal DVD and then a special one with the deleted scenes in it, as well as a bunch of scenes made specially for this version. It's reeeaaaallly long ((5 or 6 hours)) , but if they did that with Harry Potter it would be way better for the fans that actually care about the small details, like Lupin and Tonks being married, and DUMBLEDORE'S FREAKIN FUNERAL. Yeah. EDIT: I was also disappointed that they didn't put in the part about fudge getting sacked... that's all I can remember. I did like how they did the part when Harry got the memory though. That was funny. The Malfoy thing wasn't that good. Although important.. hmm.

At the lonely end of the rink... SD; I like the idea you have for the Harry Potter movies. Maybe they'll decide to do that once all of the movies come out. I know I would sit through five or six hours per movie to see everything that happened in the books. ...you and me.

I totally agree with you! I believe they should've did alot more with the ending than they did. They cut things too short when compared to the book. I was very disappointed.. I just hope the last one, which I hear will be divided up into two parts, will be alot better and not cut out so many important scenes. >.>

I went to see HP the weekend after it was released. I think that it was ok, although I didn't like it when they skipped some parts from the book especially Dumbledore funeral and stuff. But then again movies aren't as great as their books

I stopped reading after book 4. Yeah I suck. I generally have to wait till all the books of a series are out and read them one after the other. If there is time between them I get bored and forget most the book anyways.
