 The main island's academy, teaching children from kindergarden to their late teens in high school. It is a rather large school, and is located right on the outskirts of town.

As the sound of school bells rang in the air Naomi walked through the school halls, rather tired and a little hungry. Brushing her hair back and looking out of the windows she wished that she didn't have so much homework. Oh...the sun...teachers shouldn't assign projects on sunny days... She thought with a sigh as she headed toward the school library. Finding a table and cracking open a book she stared at the letters on the page, but became distracted by the sun's rays. Ugh... She slowly stretched her arms before her and slid forward, her forehead landing on the cool wood. This won't do...

Roan stepped into the library, two text books between his body and arm. He stepped looked over the aisles, trying to find a couple of books; one to read, the other for studies. He pressed his finger against the pokes as he scanned them and landed on the one he wanted to read first. The book Shogun had interested him for quite some time and it's length was amazing. He smiled then began looking for his other book. Once he found it, he stepped up to the counter and waited for the librarian. He smiled and looked around, letting his eyes fall on a girl who had her head pressed against the table. He could tell who it was and wondered if he should talk to her. He turned back and began talking to the librarian as she started scanning his books.

Naomi lifted her head lazily, staring at all of her notes. "Okay, so cosine times the quantity alpha plus beta equals cosine alpha cosine beta minus sine alpha sine beta..." The lead of her pencil dragged across the lined paper, conveying her thoughts. "So in turn, prove cosine 2 alpha is equivalent to cosine squared alpha minus sine squared alpha...ugh." Looking up toward library checkout she saw Roan and hid behind her book. She knew him, but had never had the chance to actually speak and get to know him. It would be awkward of me to talk to him suddenly... Naomi thought with a sigh.
((are you talking about "Shogun" by Tom Clancy? I tried reading that...and it was interesting for a while until it started to drag >.<))

((Damn, Anni... How do you understand that?! I think it's the same book... DOn't remember the author...))
Roan grabbed his books, thanking the librarian before stepping over to Naomi's table and sitting down across from her. He tried thinking of something to say, but he found it difficult to and just started looking in his text book, writing down notes and finishing up homework as she was. He sighed and set the book down, looking across the table at her and hoping she'd return the gaze.

Even though she was behind the pages of the book, she could still feel her eyes looking at her. This is unsettling... Naomi sighed again, now unable to focus on her work (not like she could in the first place). Putting her book down she smiled at Roan, conveying a cheerful expression. "Hi, I'm Naomi." She said, extending her hand. This really does feel awkward. But, how else was she going to introduce herself? After all, both of them lived on the islands for most of their lives and yet she had not even spoken a word to him before.

Roan looked down at her hand and scratched his cheek for a moment. He reached out and held her hand in his, shaking it slightly. Her skin was soft and it made his cheeks feel a bit warm. He smiled and chuckled nervously. "Roan." It was clear they both knew eachother, but had never really spoken before. "How's homework going?"

"Well, it's not going that well..." Naomi place her book to the side. "I would rather do this at home, since I have a hard time concentrating here..." And I would rather not do it, anyway. Taking her pencil in her hand she twirled it around her fingers "So, are you done with all of your work?"

 ๑۞๑ Nui Ginko ๑۞๑
Nui walked down the halls of the school that was on the main island of her world. The students were just getting out of school, she smiled at her self "Young kids, they have so much to live for" she said out loud. She was still young herself, just turned into an adult a few months ago, she is now a real woman. She was still smiling to herself, which got wider as she realized that she was able to go to the small island now. It was her place of refuge, to get away from reality, she wasn't all that satisfied with being on this world. But as long as students went to her to teach them how to use a sword, then she was content with being there, for now.... Nui, too had homework, but it wasn't like she couldn't handle it, she was pretty smart so it didn't bother he too much. But what did bug her was that her students probably had homework as well.
She sighed If only I could be like the chosen heroes with the keyblade she thought. Then I wouldn't be stuck on this world, and I'd be able to travel to where ever I choose. It was something she always wanted to do, ever since her parents left her there. Well it was about time for Nui to go "home", and by home, it meant it was time for her to go to the smaller island. But she looked around, just in case someone would want to go with her as she walked. One quick peek in the library and then she'd leave, though she had no idea why she'd want to go to the library. But she did anyway, and, to her surprise she actually went in and looked around, just pretending to mind her own business. Once she was done browsing, then she'd leave.

 Cari was taking her time in getting ready to leave the school. What was the point? Ever since she found out she was adopted, Cari began to drift away from her parents. As she continued to grab books from her locker, someone slammed her locker door shut, almost jamming her fingers. Cari turned her head, staring blanking at the person responsible. "What do you want Blake?" Cari was well familiar with this guy and not in a good way. "I want a rematch Seiran. You, me, battle on the beach." Blake said with a cocky smirk. "If I win you go on a date with me." Cari rolled her eyes at Blake's proposal. Knowing him he just wanted to parade her around like a trophy and gain back whatever rep she took from him when she kicked his a**. "Yeah right, not interested." Cari scoffed. She never fought someone without a good reason and Blake's wager was too moronic to even take serious. Without so much as a glance Cari walked away, heading home. There was a high chance, being the idiot and bully he was, Blake would follow her and try to corner her somewhere on her trek home and force her into a battle. If he did that then well, it was his funeral.

Roan chuckled slightly and nodded. "Yes... No, not really." He laughed a bit more and smiled at Naomi. There was then the distant sounds of lightning and he glanced out the window to make sure he wasn't just hearing things. There was a large, ominous cloud forming around the land, eminating from the small island. He couldn't help but get the feeling something bad was going to happen soon. He looked back towards Naomi and smiled faintly. "I need to go to the small islands. Would you like to come with?" He was kind of impatient, so he stood up, looking down to see if she was going to come or not.

Hearing the thunder she looked out the window as well, biting her bottom lip. Naomi considered Roan's invitation, packing up her books and supplies even though she had not decided to accept or not. Pulling the zipper on her bag closed she looked up at him. I had not even spoken a hundred words with him and yet he's already asking if I want to go with him somewhere...should I...? She looked down at the wooden desk, then stood up and pushed in her chair. "Sure, I'll go with you." Naomi gave a small smile. It's not that far...and I would rather go than do homework, anyway...

'And here I thought I'd at least leave the school perimeter before Blake sent his cronies' Cari sighed inwardly. Like she predicted, Blake was forcing her into a fight. At the moment she was out in the courtyard in the front of the school, Blake's cronies blocking her path in every direction. Within the circle that had formed around her, stood Blake, a triumphant smirk already on his face. The idiot already thought he won and that thought alone annoyed Cari. Setting her bag down, Cari was the first to attack coming at Blake with a roundhouse kick to the face. The attack caught Blake off guard, knocking him back a little, a red bruied already starting to form on his forehead. Growling Blake charged at Cari aiming to return the favor and punch her in the face. Cari caught his punch, grabbing onto Blake's arm, Cari flipped him over her shoulder. Before Cari could attack again, she felt two sets of hands holding her back. She struggled against their grasp but couldn't break free. Blake walked towards her, a cocky grin on his face. "Now you're gonna get it." Cari scoffed, trying to hide on the inside she was slightly panicking. She was not going to show weakness in front of this b*****d. "You're a real tough guy Blake." Cari said sarcastically. "You need your cronies to restrain a little girl before you beat her up." Her comment made Blake scowl as he punched Cari in the gut hard. "Shut up! Now it's payback time!"

Nui smirked as she heard that the teenagers were going to go to the small island. At least that means I won't be going alone she thought, though she had to think that maybe they'd think she was creepy following them. But why the hell should they? She was probably just a year older then them. She looked outside to see the skies darken, that was a bad sign and she had to leave immediately. She honestly didn't care if the teens followed her or not, but she had to go home. She had to go see if any of her stuff was gone or blowing away in the winds. She ran out of the school and to the beach, it was a bad idea to go in the water. But she didn't really care, she grabbed a boat and rowed as fast as she could to the island. Once there she would get her stuff from her little home and go to the secret place. That was the only place were her stuff was safest at, and a place very few knew of.
Or that is what she thought, she had to expect some people to know, Sora, Kairi, and Riku always went there. So she guessed that it wasn't that much of a secret to anyone, but still. It was her haven whenever a storm came to the islands, she'd get her stuff and go into the hole. There she was safe until the storm passed, it was the perfect place for storms. She also wondered about the door in there, no matter how hard she tried to pry it open she just couldn't open it. That was one stubborn door.... maybe this storm has meaning, Nui was always superstitious about stuff. And she knew that this storm was a bad omen, she could feel it, she could fee that it was unnatural, and that made her worried a little.

Roan smiled, glad someone was going to come with him out to the island. Something about it was just too... freaky. He started walking with Naomi and eventually ended up before a pathetic fight. It was a bunch of guys actually striking a woman. This pissed him off greatly. Roan threw his books down and looked back at Naomi for a moment before jumping into the fight. The first one to be brought down was Blake. He knew the kid was an a**, but this was low, even for him. The guy didn't even see it coming. Roan leapt into the air and rotated his body, bringing all the momentum to his left leg and swinging it into Blake's face. The attack send him flying back a few feet and skidding to a stop. Another one stepped up to Roan quickly after, but the teenager swung his arm up, making contact with the punk's stomach and making him fall to the floor gasping for air. The last one was the one holding Cari. He remembered her from class, since they were in the same age and in the same class. Seconds later, the fight was finished. Roan stepped up to Cari and helped pick up her bag walking over to her and handing it to her. "You ok?" He said, a faint smile on his face. His mind was wondering to the island again. He looked over to Naomi and gestured for her to step over to them.
