I herd from a very reliable source that there's gonna be a live action Movie of vampire hunter D. Hideyuki Kukuchi has all the rights to it so there's a good chance it'll be good. I was just wandering what you guys think, or if you have any more info on this.

From what I heard, it was being made in Japan, according to the rumors... but it's just rumors. I wouldn't be surprised if America decides they need to make one as well... stare

Actually America makes great movies. It may not make great anime but we make wonderful Hollywood movies. It's the live action movies that are coming out of other countries that tend to really ruin anime. Like Dragon Ball Z? ~__~ They ruined it ... Many of their Live Action movies are B movies and will never see the inside of a movie Theater in America. sweatdrop I kind of wish Dreamworks could make VHD a Live Action movie.. They have the greatest CGI artists right now. With Kikuchi-san as the writer and Dreamworks as the film makers it would be huge!

I'd like to know the reliable source. I've read rumors and we all know the rumor mill. So, some links and names would be dandy. If not, then I don't think I would be able to believe what OP is saying. Mind you, this is my personal view on the situation.

the reliable source I was talking about was my friend's boyfriend who's says he a major D fan, next time i see him I'll ask where he got the information. i hope the movie made in America because D's not Japanese. it'll be like that weird Japanese western.

Yea... no offense, but that doesn't fly with me. I'm a huge fan of D myself, but I've heard nothing tangible about a live action movie.
