Appearance - The Emperor of Kutou is a rather imposing figure, standing at 6'1, towering over the others in his station. He is also rather muscular, as he used to train with the military when he was a lowly prince. His hair has started to whiten, giving him a salt and peppered look to his shoulder length locks. He has dark eyes, almost black in color. He is a little scruffy, and has a short unkempt beard and mustache, which he quite likes. Being that he is the Emperor, when he making public appearances, or where he is going to be seen by those other than his family, he wears fine silk robes in silvery and blue hues. However, whenever he gets the chance to, the Emperor will slip into a more comfortable common robe and pants, though they are still blue.

Personality - One would figure that the Emperor is a rather stuffy, strict and generally frightening person. However, that isn't entirely all. When he is around his advisors, he is quite like that. Yet, when he is around his wife and son, he is quite different. He has a romantic side that he doesn't like to show to anyone except his wife. Mostly, this consists of him going out to his private garden, and arranging a bouquet for her.
