Tezza raced across the field, a light breeze caressing her face and tugging at the girls shoulder length braided pigtails. Though Tezza wasn't focused on that, oh no she held tight to a thin nearly see through line attached to a large diamond shaped kite. The breeze was just barely strong enough to give the kite any lift so Tezza was finding it hard to get the thing high enough into the air that it might find a thermal and stay up. Perhaps like Tezza herself with her ribbon bound wings her kite was not meant to fly.

A little ways away seated on a blanket and reading a book Rinali watched Tezza play. The woman hoped at some point that Tezza would tire of the kite and try to play with other children, that was the whole point of bringing her her, to expose Tezza to children outside of the ones she already knew. Well that and bleed off some of the child's boundless energy.

Unaware she was being used as tool to entertain the other girl Tezza just smiled and waved at the approaching brunet. " Hey"

Tezza laughed and shook her head and the kite sailed back to the ground due to her stopping. " I'm Tezza, I dunno what I am but I came from a cabbage."The girl replied as she took Jordan's hand. Knowing exactly what she was wasn't overly high on the dark eyes girl's list of things to do, her family loved her and that was all that mattered.

She looked over at the fallen kite " Well at least I tried," If nothing else she kept her legs used to running which would be Important as summer progressed and her soccer team start playing real matches which would be longer than their practices. Tezza had toddled and climbed everywhere when she was younger but it wasn't the same as the endurance you needed to run up and down a field for an hour.

The tiny winged girl shrugged " It's ok, I like parks where you can hike and stuff, you know where you have to follow a trail to get somewhere neat." The adventure group she'd been part of as a toddler was something she was too big for now she;d outpace all the younger children walking and have nothing in common with the parents pushing strollers down paths or throughthe barton cave tours. It was fine though the girl was rather independant and content to strike out on her own when allowed.

Tezza shook her head " I was too small to go before summer came and so now I don't have to go till fall " the braided girl grinned " Although I do have at home lessons some days. " They at least were tolerable and never more than an hour even with breaks.

Tezza eyed the leaves decidedly not rustling in a nearby tree and shook her head " Don't think so." That and the other girl was short, shorter than Tezza even and unlikely to run horribly well, she didn't want to make Jordan look or feel silly. Instead she gestured over towards the tree " Comon we can climb that." Being short didn't help with climbing but it didn't make it impossible especially with two people.

Tezza laughed " You gotta run for it" she explained dropping the kite string, who was going to steal a kite on a windless day?. The girl eyed her target a low hanging branch and then ran full tilt towards the tree; half hopping at the last minute to place one foot on the trunk then pushing off with it extra boost to get herself over to the branch. The rough bark dug into her hands, ungloved today, and Tezza struggled to half haul herself up though she ended up with her middle on the limb and the rest of her on either side of the branch, decidedly out of breath.
