January 29th:

I've updated a lot of Dreams that were late in growing. I do apologize to everyone for this!

I would like to make it known to my customers, in case they aren't away, about some things about my reward system.

I don't pick people simply by decideing myself. The temptation to play favorites is far too strong. So this is what I do:

3 Rewards to Role Played Dreams in the Shop. I input the amount of pages that are currently in my shop into a random number generator. The page that pops up, I go to. The first RP post I see on that page will be awarded a RP Reward. There is the strong possibility of people getting multiple items simply because of the limited number of customers that I have RPing there right now.

3 Rewards to Journal Keepers. I assign each person who keeps a journal a number. Again, I input the amount of people to pick from into a random number generator, and I allow that to pick who will recieve a reward.

I want to be able to give these rewards out at least once every other week, if not more often. I suppose it depends on how busy I am and how many people I see putting time and effort into their Dreams.

Journal Keepers! I have noticed a lot of you have put a -lot- of effort into your journals and I am really impressed with them. I am trying to read them all too! However, I have this fear that someone is going to start a journal just to gain a random reward, so I'm going to implement a small requirement.

If you start a journal, you automatically are entered into the 'system' for random rewards. After recieving one reward you will fall under this requirement. If you do not post within 14 days of recieving your first reward, you will be excluded from the next give away. This is a two week gap in which you can make some sort of post. If you post after the 14 day limit, but before I get around to the next give away, you will be entered into it. I just want to make certain people are going to be semi-active in their journals. I don't think it's fair for a person who starts a journal, makes three posts, and never posts again to get rewards over a person who posts daily enteries into their journal about how their Dream discovered brushing their teeth or something sweatdrop

January 31st:

Well, today is my birthday. I'd jump around excitedly right now but i'm totally exhausted. ANyways, the update. I hired a Line Artist. Foxy_Kitsune. She'll be doing Cosplay Dreams. The first set I've asked her to make Saiyuki (sp?). Anyways, I'm open to suggestions...in fact that is why I'm creating a Suggestion Thread. Feel free to post all of your Dream related ideasm thoughts, or complaints there. I honestly will consider anything you post there, though I can't promise I'll make it hapen sweatdrop

I would like to make a very importanat announcement and request. The following person is BANNED from my shop. [SP] Duo Maxwell I do not make a habit of releaseing details, because I consider them private disagreements that have taken a step too far, and ordinarily do not neet to be dragged out in public. However I feel the need to make this known.

This person has unceaseingly followed a friend of mine around Gaia, PMing her after many requests for him to leave her alone. He has, in essence, been stalking her. If you know this person please do not invite them into any of my shops or threads. His presence is unwelcome because it disturbs and really upsets my friend.

If at some future date this person changes his name, I would appreciate being notified so I can change it in my notice as well. Thank you very much.

Remember that special Wing Item I stated would be released soon...here it is! I would like everyone to gaze upon the custom line art edited beastie I did for Pisceskitty sweatdrop She paid a fair amount fer it too... stare I can't say no when I'm on a quest...

Anyways....these lovely bat like demon/dragon/whatever you wanna call them wings shall soon be avalible by Auction. These wings will not be awarded randomly for RPers. Sorry folks, but some items will be kept for Contest rewards and auction only sweatdrop

I'm not sure when they will go up for auction, seeing as how Foxy Kitsune has created some of the most wonderful cosplays I've seen done and I dun wannt run a auction while running one for her! I'll keep yeh all posted!



Oh yes! And I almost forgot! The dagger it is holding will be a item I will release soon as well! It will be avalible per RP reward.

Role Play Related

For those of you whom like to RP, I've decided I should give you a small blurb about the shop.

I'm currently working on a description/image of the shop proper, but here is for those of you that like to RP here:

The Castaway Dream shop is located on a small tropical island two miles off the shore of Gambino. The water level between Gambino's shores and that of the island is so shallow a average sized human can wade the distance and the water will only reach midchest level.

The Shop face's Gambino and sits upon a white sandy shore. The structure itself has a stone base, but the rest is built out of weathered unpainted wood. The building stands two stories tall, and is about the size of an average cabin. A porch covers the face of the shop, and there is a hanging bench swing off to the left of the door. The door itself is set smach dab in the middle of the building face, and has a large square window to either side of it.

When one enters the shop, they enter a huge room that is as wide as the shop itself, and is half the length of the shop. There is a wall in back with a single wooden door, and a ladder that is nailed to the left hand side of the shop that goes up to a large trapdoor in the ceiling.

The room itself has a few broken in couch's pressed to opposite sides of the room, a large stone fireplace, a small counter with a medium sized treasure trunk like box set on it. The box itself is locked at all times, and on the side of the counter faceing away from the enterance a small pair of doors are also locked.

The door in the middle of the wall is usually locked as well, save for at times when LC needs to go in back. Through the door can be glimpsed a unconutable amount of wooden chests. They all vary in size, shape, color, and make. The room itself is layered with a coating of dust that no matter how hard LC tries to clean away, stubbornly keeps clinging on. There is a myrid of other things tossed about in the unorganized room. Pieces of armor, mirrors, paper boxs and books. It is, in essence, a cluttery mess of all sorts of junk and non-junk objects. LC does not approve of anyone going into this back room and there has been a signed posted at the door requesting that people keep themselves, and their Dreams out of the room for their own safty.

Going up the ladder nailed to the wall leads to a large flat. Up here there is a small kitchen in the front of the room, with a lot of bean bag chairs tossed about for lounging. There are various bookshelves against the walls, as well as ribbons and hoops looped over a few wooden nails. There is also a bathroom enclosed in a small corner at the back. A large cupboard with doors rests against one wall, and inside one can find anything from blankets to healers kits, towels and soap.

Eh-heh...since so many people loved the wings..I've decided to hold an auction for a pair ninja Check it on out and bid if you like!

Todays Update:

I'm Posting the newsletter I've been trying to send out to people here because I haven't managed to get to everyone yet.

I've also added rules to the Combat system after realizeing there is a small flaw in how it is run. No more then three dreams will be able to fight with a Nightmare at any given time. If one Dream is knocked out of the battle by having their health reach 0 then another may step into the battle to take their place.

I've also decided to start gradual Stat Growth for Dreams. Sleping and Awakening Dreams should not have the same strength as Aware Dreams. They are still very vulnerable. So from now on, Sleeping Dreams will have no stats beyond Health, and Awakening Dreams will have lowered stats in compare to Aware Dreams to keep it a bit more realistic.

I bought some nice line art to be the angellic/daemonic and Vision/Night Terror stages of the Castaway Dream shop..and then my computer completly melted and I lost it along with some pets I had saved.

No worries though. Lytte was a absolut heaven sent angel and she drew up the stages for me. They are, quite simply, the most gorgeous things I've ever seen. So if you see Lytte give her a big hug of thanks! Cause she just made the Castaway Dream shop ten times better then it ever could be!

Next...I'm host a Art AND a writing contest! Whym has brought back a few strange things from Nowhere...but nothing as strange as this before!!

And to make it even more strange..he brought back a second one as well!

Hmm, and believe it or not...I'm holding an auction as well (Lets give Unknown Mind a round of applause for dealing with me in my spatic race to catch up on delayed things shall we folks?) It's for the FF7 Cosplays drawn by Foxy Kitsune! These babies are going up for auction,a s I mentioned, but in a very different manner. The first auction...is for first pick. If you win the auction, you get to pick which Cosplay y ou want, and I will draw a unique Artifact just for them (Say you win and pick Cloud, I'll add the Buster Sword, Pick Sephiroth and I'll give him a wing, Pick Cid and I'll give him..uh..er...a never ending pack of bubblegum cigarette sticks?) I am currently holding a auction for the first Celestial Crystal! If you check out the shop or any of the other events I['m holding you'll find a link to it. This crystal will be the catalyst for turning a normal Dream into a Angellic Dream!

Also, just a brief note to everyone...Breeding is around the corner! Remember folks, Breeding CAN be done between dreams of the same Gender. Dreams are born of dreams, and sex has -nothing- to do with it. Specials can breed as well. If you have a special edition set or a cosplay, theres a % chance that some trait will carry over into the offspring! This goes for Yudou's as well! The Blessings have not been put into effect yet, but I'm not gunna spill more then I'm ready to commit to!
