LochC Loch: *casually strolling, choosing to approach a certain tree, humming to himself*
Annis: ...
Loch: *pauses at said tree, choosing to stand under it and look deeply in thought*
Annis: Going through a midlife crisis, or do you always wear that expression?
Loch: *doesn't even look up* And do you often watch people from the trees like this?
Annis: Maybe.
Loch: *finally looks up at her* Quite the interesting habit, if I may say so.
Annis: Interesting? How so? *looks at him on the ground*
Loch: *leaps up to catch a branch by her and settles upon it* Well, some people might find it odd that you watch them. I was being polite.
Annis: I think that people do interesting things.
Loch: Oh really? Like what?
Annis: *points* Like that woman over there panicking that she's lost her hat when it's sitting atop that light pole right behind her.
Loch: *looks* The hat...just out of her own reach? I wonder how it would have gotten up there...
Annis: Hm... I wonder. *smiles, adjusting her gloves over her hands*
Loch: *chuckles a bit* ...I see.
Annis: Hm?
Loch: Nothing~
Annis: Oh, come now. I think you can tell me.
Loch: From what you told me back during the battle...you seem like a lonely person. Am I correct?
Annis: ...I suppose you could say that.
Loch: Hm...it makes sense, then. You are lonely, so you fill the space by watching others.
Annis: It's not because I'm lonely. I just think people are interesting.
Loch: If you say so.
Annis: ...
Loch: ...I apologize. Did I say something wrong?
Annis: No. No, I'm fine. I'm just... thinking.
Loch: ...About that Raven, if I may hazard a guess?
Annis: ... ...Yeah.
Loch: ...I see. He meant a lot to you, did he not?
Annis: He... did.
Loch: I...understand how you feel. I, too, became attached to one of them...only to ultimately end her life.
Annis: Who...?
Loch: ...The Valkyrie, Jyoti. She reminded me of...*hesitates for a moment*...someone I knew long ago. I thought I could save her from her fate...and it turned out that I was the one to deliver her fate.
Annis: That's... I see.
Loch: ...Yes.
Annis: ...She's in a better place now, you know that, right?
Loch: ...I do. And you understand the same?
Annis: I'd like to think I do.
Loch: Then I suppose that's all we can do, then. Groveling over the past will not allow us to move on.
Annis: ...Agreed.

VikaC Vika: *suddenly plops herself down beside an idle Annis washing her clothes* Hi there.
Annis: *looks up, surprised* Hm? Oh, it's... Vika, right?
Vika: Um...mhm, yeah. You're Annis.
Annis: That's my name, sure enough. Did you need something? *smiles*
Vika: Huh? Oh, um...not really. I thought it was weird that we're the only two ravens around here and we'd never talked.
Annis: Hm. Yeah, that is weird.
Vika: *giggles* It's nice having another raven around. We've had Tibarn for forever, and Janaff but he doesn't count.
Annis: Yeah... that's true. It IS nice to see another flying laguz around here. :3
Vika: Oh yeah, and that new heron. Loch!
Annis: Yeah, Loch...
Vika: He's pretty, isn't he?
Annis: Well... he's certainly prettier than most of the men around here, I guess... *looks away*
Vika: *giggles* I'd agree if my interests didn't lie...well, elsewhere. *coughs*
Annis: E-Eh?
Vika: *shrugs* Nothing. You like him, don't you?
Annis: Well, he's my friend.
Vika: *nod* I see...
Annis: Wh-What? >_>
Vika: Hm? Oh,um...nothing. I was just thinking. Was there something else on your mind?
Annis: N-No. Nothing at all. Nothing.
Vika: He thinks you're pretty too, you know.
Annis: ...H-He does?
Vika: *nodnod* Uh-huh. I heard him say it. He was trimming his bonsai tree in the park one day and he mentioned it. Of course, he was whispering to himself and I was in a tree ten feet away, but still!
Annis: ...Then how do you know you heard him right?
Vika: *taps her ears* I think it's hard to mishear 'That Annis girl is pretty, I wonder if she would have dinner with me sometime.' *snicker*
Annis: ./////.
Vika: o: Did I say something wrong?
Annis: N-No.
Vika: ...hm. I could set it up, if you wanted. Leave a note here and there, get him to meet you over a candlelit dinner by the lake...it'd be so romantic! We ravens have to stick together, you know.
Annis: U-Uh... I...
Vika: It's a date, then. He'll be at the Eyris Theatre at seven PM tomorrow night. Look sharp! *flies off*
Annis: Annis: W-Wait, what? Vika? Vika?!
