((This is a log of an RP done of aim between Cajanic (Mito) and Seaki (Nafsiumiza)))

Nafsi stretched her body out. Just waking up was always bliss, stretching the thin, mostly unused muscles out of there tight kinks - it felt nice. She started off on a small morning walk away from her tree. She gave another yawn.

She looked up at the rising sun, which made everything glow a golden orange. It made her smile. The heat was bothersome sometimes, but the mornings were always great. Shaking her head, she continued her walk.

Pudgy pillow Mito moved slowly over the grounds, taking in the sights and sounds of the morning as he started the slow journey back home. That was the trouble with going on long trips- eventually you had to get back home. And it didn't matter how tired or worn out you were- the distance back was exactly the same as the distance taken.

Couldn't escape that.

He sighed lowly, keeping his pace slow and steady, like a turtle. His large legs were starting to ache from all the walking. Luckily, he knew he would soon find himself in front of a water hole. Assuming... he hadn't taken a wrong turn....

He saw a female. Perhaps she would know where he could find a place to rest. "Hello there," he said lightly.

Nafsi was slightly statled by the voice she head. She still wasn't used to others coming up to her. It always shocked her when they did. "Hello," She answered back. She needed to learn to pay attention top everything around her. She simply wasn't used to it. The lion, though, was bigger then she was, obviously, and male (again, obviously). "Who are you?" she asked, somewhat suspicously.

Mito grinned, white teeth almost glowing against the dark colors of his face. He knew he must have startled her- she looked rather surprised. That wasn't a 'hello, how are you?' kind of expression. It made him feel a little guilty. The last thing he had wanted to do was make her uncomfortable.

"Sorry," he said, "didn't mean to frighten you! I was just passing through and I thought you looked a little lonely. The name's Mito. What may I have the pleasure of calling you?"

Nafsi shook her head. "It's alright, it happened a lot. I'm Nafsiumiza," She usually didn't give her full name, just her nickname. However, most of the creatures she met were young, except maybe Mauja - the one who completely confused her and she gave her nickname to him, soon after becoming his mate. Since then, she became more suspicious of males.

"It's nice to meet you, Mito."

Cajanic
"It's an honor, Nafsiumiza," Mito replied with a polite bow of his head, always one to try and be a bit respectful when it came to speaking with the ladies. Only once had he failed to do so and the end result had been quite embarrassing for the both of them, really.

Never again.

"I must say; you have a lovely name. Certainly puts mine to shame! Of course... most other names put MINE to shame." He shook his head, chuckling softly.

"So, do you live out here, or are you a wanderer like me?"

He was charming, he had to admit, terribly different from Mauja in any case, who was insane (almost as much as she was). She wasn't used to the strange 'charm' he exuded. It made her shift a bit nervously.

"Well, you're name is just... short. Not shameful," shame was a bad thing. Badbadbad. She hated shame.

She shook her head. "I live just around here. Just out for a walk," she gave a small firm nod.

Cajanic
"Haha! I don't think you'd say that if you knew what it meant, my dear," Mito hummed thoughtfully, though for a lion who knew his name sucked he didn't seem to have much trouble talking about it. Mostly because he wasn't the kind to really let things get to him.

It all rolled off his rather round back.

"Ah well, it's not important. What's in a name? Ah! So you live around here. Would you mind terribly if I ask you for some directions? See, I'm rather parched but I don't know where a water hole might be. Give a tubby guy a helpful paw?"

Nafsi gave a small checkle. "Well, my name wouldn't be lovely if you knew what it meant." She shook her head. Her mother didn't like cubs - that was the reason. Strange lioness she was. But anyhow...

"What's in a name indeed." She commented lightly. "A water hole isn't too far from here." In fact, it was rahter close to her tree. "It's this way, I'll lead you there," She turned back to from whence she came.

Cajanic
"Ha, well, at least we know we've got something in common now," he said lightly, tail beating contently against the sand, "we both know our names would be looked at another way if the meanings were told."

He didn't her, though he had to admit there was a certain... almost a sadness. And uneasiness that he couldn't quite put a claw on. It made him want to hang around her, just to find out what was going on in her mind.

"Would you? I owe you one! If there's anything I can do for you, please, just let me know!" He grinned as he moved to follow her, the thought of finally getting water making him all the more aware of just how thirsty he was.

Seaki
"I suppose," She gave a nod. She shook her head and lead him through the small brush that made up her home, and a bit further.

The water hole was small. Nafsi managed it herself for the most part, digging the sides out herself and making sure it was ina good place for water to collect. It was under a tree. so any water that collected in the tree she would shake out into the overly large puddle.

It dried away sometimes, but digging under the earth produced water if she really needed. Today, though, it was at an even-level. "Well, here it is. It's small, but it should quench your thirst."

Mito frowned as he tailed her. The distance between them was something he was very unused to. Normally the animals he talked to warmed to him right away- to have her still so distant was unsettling. They had been speaking for a few minutes already! What did she want from him?

He'd get her to lighten up if it killed him.

Looking at the small amount of water, the large animal hesitated a little bit. "Hm," he hummed thoughtfully, "I wouldn't want to drink more water than you really have to offer. Is this really alright?" He took a few careful steps forward, sniffing at the small body of water.

She glanced at him with a small smile. "There are many places where water can be collected around here, this is just the closest." She commented with a nod. The closest to tree and her favorite. She wasn't a fan of walking too far, which is why she brought him here - the other ones were too far.

Plus, she was never good with directions. "It's not deadly," she commented when she saw him sniffing at the water. How strange.

Cajanic
"I didn't think it was!" he laughed, "don't you like the scent of water? I think it's very calming. I guess that must look a little weird, huh? Oh well, I'm sorry," he mused lightly, "I didn't mean to make you think that I didn't trust you."

To show that he was trusting, he did start to drink from the water. It was cool and refreshing and he was very happy to get a drink inside of him. "Well, thank you very much, I appreciate you helping me out."

Scent of water? How strange. "No, you're just... different then what I'm used to." She commented. Scent of Blood - that was calming. In fact, he small bedding usually smelt of blood, but she didn't like to keep the scent lingering too long for fear of other predators invading her home.

She watched him drink the shaded water and when he was finished she gave him a nod. "You're welcome, Mito."
