Dalila'abadi inhaled and poofed out of existence, the dust of her wings settling to the ground. The young juvenile was practicing her transporting, she knew how to do it, but the actual act of transporting was not going to well.
The pale juvenile popped back into existence about a mile away from her desired location and she grumbled, she was not that far away from home, her mother and father had taken her to this location before, just outside of the pride lands.
Grumbling she skipped in the sunlight, determined to make it back home, transporting takes a lot out of you..she mused and continued skipping.

Uhaijizi was out and about on his own. He was doing what he most enjoyed doing, hunting. He was getting larger, stronger and more talented and he was eager to put it all to use. He had his first major success days ago, he was aiming to repeat his little adventure. He was sneaking through the grass, not aiming for anything too close by, when suddenly a small goddess appeared in his line of vision. His head poked up out of the grass suddenly, looking into the distance where she stood.
Odd. He'd never really seen a god outside of his own family, whoever this was didn't look too much different.. except her wings were odd, almost invisible at the distance, and the decorations she wore sparkled more than much of what his family wore.
Intrigued, he moved closer, dropping all effort to keep hidden.

Panting she stopped, the little goddess felt worn down and wasn't sure how to proceed...continue walking and be tired or halt and not make it back to her mother right away, not get back to her forgetful sister.
Rustling grass pulled her from her dilemma and she turned around, yellow eyes wide she spotted the natural colored god. "Hello," she spoke softly, stiffening at the sight of another god, she only really knew her immortal family. She did have memories of others, but did not know them in her lifetime.
He was larger and fear passed across her face, she debated the ability to transport back to the family before he could catch her.

Though Uhaijizi was an enthusiastic hunter, it wasn't the only thing he did. He hadn't much interaction outside of his family, his prey and that.. one lion he'd been trying to help. Still, it didn't take a genius to recognize the look on her face. It was almost enticing, fear was familiar to one who specialized in hunting, an expected part of the game he played. It wasn't what he intended for this time, though he did not take offense.
"Hello there," he called out, hoping to ease the fear in the small lioness, "Funny to see another god wanderin' about here. Who're you?" He looked her from tail to nose, trying to guess, but there wasn't a thing that came to mind. Pala was an obvious god, his dad was pretty obvious, he'd dare to say his teeth and skull gave him away (kind of!) but Kinga and all the girls, well, they weren't too obvious. Hmm.

Her fear melted away at seeing him, he wasn't the same..not really but a spark of remembrance brought back who he was in the past, long past. Her new lives' memories sometimes overwhelmed old and it was hard to differenciate who was who, when. But if it was him..he was someone she could never forget, not even around Mneme.
"I see gods all the time, I live with many of them," she giggled, "I am Dalila'abadi, but you can call me Dali...if you want."
"What's your name? What are you the god of?"

Uhai was puzzled when the look of fear changed to something he didn't recognize, but he didn't let it bother him. He wouldn't be too surprised if she was more powerful and dangerous than she looked, but she didn't seem to be posing any specific and immediate threat so he was content to chat. When she said she lived with many gods, he wondered if she was also part of a family. His was a bit shaky at best, but he still had them. Unless she was part of some kind of team with them, gods sometimes got grouped together by prides, right?
"It's nice to meet you, Dalia'abadi," he responded politely, puffing up importantly when asked to introduce himself, "I'm Uhaijizi, Uhai for short I guess, and I'm god of predators. You didn't say what you are."

Uhaijizi, she committed the name to memory, something that wasn't very hard for the little goddess. She fluttered her wings looking him over, he was older than her, she was reborn later. She wondered what he was doing in this lifetime.
"Predators," she mumbled and nodded "I am the goddess of remembrance. Are you out hunting? You're not going to try and hunt me are you?" She blinked her yellow eyes focused on him.
Awkward. What is there to say? To ask? He was a stranger in this life time.

The god idly scratched at the dirt at his paws, not too surprised by the question about hunting that came. Almost anybody would ask that, his own family did sometimes.. but to be fair, he did try to hunt them a lot. All for fun, though! Never any sincere efforts. Her tone was hard to read, though. It was hard to say if she was afraid or not, but it certainly didn't sound quite.. normal. So he could only assume that she was anxious about him being a hunter.
"No, I'm not hunting now," he said, deciding to leave it at that. It was a lie, he had been hunting, but that didn't matter. He had to admit, privately, that she looked a bit too frightened or worried or weird or.. whatever. It might have been tempting, but really, he didn't need to cause trouble by picking fights with other gods. Other than Pala. Especially since she said she knew a whole bunch of other gods.
"You're remembrance, though?" he asked, trying to change the subject, "Keep a lot o' things in your head? Must get tiring." He didn't put a whole lot of effort into imagining what it would be like if you had to remember all the time, he didn't hunt all the time..

"I remember everything, all of my lifetimes...everything," she shrugged her shoulders, "Lots and lots of stuff in my head. Tiring, wonderful, awful, and everything in between." She gave another shrug. She must be coming off like some weirdo, she didn't mean to...she wanted a friend that was a god outside of the family. She liked them, especially her philosophical brother, he had interesting things to think about.
Sometimes remembering her lives was difficult to cope with and she liked to stay near her forgetful sister in hopes of forgetting the hard parts.
"My sister is forgetfulness, and my mother the goddess of souls, she's wonderful, the best mother in the whole wide world. My daddy's the god of memory, and philosophy, and teaching, and organization..last but not least procrastination," she babbled happily.
"Do..you have family?"

"Wow," Uhai muttered, sitting down when she explained what she remembers and how it can be. He had to say, he had a bit more appreciation for his own, regular memory. Though, now that she mentioned it, he had to wonder about his own past lives a bit. Gods were stuck in a cycle of rebirth as far as he knew, his main question wasn't about his past lives so much as his past deaths. And Palahala, but they were kind of stuck together. Maybe something happened, they were both born (reborn?) at the same time..
His attention focused back on Dali as she listed her family members. Uhai was fairly good at paying attention to details, something from his hunting that carried over in normal interactions that was quite useful. Not like the occasional desire to tackle somebody.
"Huh," he hummed thoughtfully at the list of family members, noting that they all seemed to match up quite nicely, "My mother is obedience, my father famine. Plus my two sisters, pets and conformity and my two brothers guards and prey." He couldn't help but grin toothily when he got to the mention of his favorite brother.

"Prey? Do you and your brother get along? Sounds like Mneme and me.. forget and remember, prey and predator..complete opposites on the spectrum. Does he look like a hare or something?" She giggled thinking of a lion with hare ears. She was still a child, even if she had her adult memories.
"It is good to know you have a family," she paused, "I mean..it's good to have family."
Maybe he just did not remember in this life time? Maybe he does not still have the curse and he could be reminded about the past. Was it right to tell him about everything? She squirmed in the dirt wondering.

"Oh, absolutely!" Uhai answered enthusiastically, not even pausing to think about his relationship with his brother until after he spoke, then he chuckled, "Unless you ask Palahala, I guess." Yes, Pala would probably have a whole other perception of their relationship. And even Uhai's perception was likely to be twisted, he didn't care too much about the conflict between them. He enjoyed the chaos, the challenge. Even if they didn't actually get along, he would always be happy with it.
"Nah, he doesn't look like a hare," he answered with another laugh, it was a nice mental image, "He has horns, hooves on his front legs and a weird kind of tail. He almost looks more like an antelope or something. Except his hooves are whole, I guess."
He didn't think twice about the comment about family, he took it to be a general 'you' and not referring to him specifically. He only nodded.

"I think looking like a hare would be more fun," she giggled, "...umm..could you walk me home?" This would be the perfect way to chat, and she wasn't too far away from where her family was staying.
"You..could..you know..protect me..from hare-eared gods," she nodded enthusiastically and pawed at the dirt beneath her feet. She wanted to ask him what he remembered from his previous lives, if anything. She knew that often times a god did not remember, or had a selective memory when it came to matters of leaving their children, dieing in battle, or spending too much time indulging themselves.
"Please?"

Uhai grinned, still imagining his brother with gigantic ears. If there was one thing that would get somebody on his good side, making fun of his brother was it. Even if it wasn't exactly intentional. He was a bit surprised when she asked him to walk her home. She could teleport, unless she wasn't very good at it. Same with flying, though her wings didn't look very strong.. but he couldn't know for sure. And he did have to admit.. remembrance was not a very intimidating domain.
"Sure," he agreed, "How far is it from here?"

"It is..." she turned around to face where home was, "not too far this way, I was trying to teleport back..but I missed my mark by a long shot." She frowned thinking about it, maybe one of her brothers could teach her how to teleport correctly, she'd have to ask them.
She started walking slowly looking back at him, she wondered what if anything could trigger memories of her..she didn't look the same from her last lifetime, although her wings were quite similar. Shaking them and watching her dust fall to the earth she nodded.
"I'm not very..fond of flying, it's more fun to act like other lions and walk."
