This thread is for posting that copy and paste list you have full of your interests, dislikes, and what you will and won't do, RP wise.
Seems simple enough, but here is how it will work.
1. Each person gets one post. One in this thread and that is it.
You can edit it, add in how you are no longer looking, and change it as you wish.
2. Visit the thread often to look for any changes or new people.
3. PM anyone who looks interesting.
4. Keep your post updated!
So, still as simple as before? I guess not. I hope you still understand it though. If not, just PM me.

OKAY!
so i've been on gaia for who know how long and i've been trying to find an RP partner since i recently came back. but haven't found one yet. then today at like 7 o'clock lillain random sent me an invite so i decided to join and here i am! : - P ( sorry its kinda long ) wink - the role i would like to play

Requirements/guidelines:

ღ PLZ no txt talk(see how annoying that is?!?!)
ღ I usually enjoy working from plots, but if we both can't figure one out, we can just wing-it. as long as their are twists. I love twists;
ღ you can't goddmod. like if i try to burn you and acctually burn you you get burnt. No: i disappeer and reapaer behind you then punch stab you and you fall over dead(but better) stuff okay?
ღ i would perfer it to be on pms useless you make a random thread for us. I will not make a thread for us.
ღ i would like you guy to be with me for more than a day then go on you way. NO! i want a longterm partner.

Hey everybody I've been on Gaia for a little over a year and I've been role-playing for about half a year.
I'm going to keep this short and simple. I'll do most any role-play but i do have a few preferences.
 MUST BE AT LEAST SEMI-LITERATE that means no chat speak!(occasional one liners are ok.)
Preferably over pm's.
Must have a picture for your character and at least a small history.
I have a hard time making plots so if you could make one [or at least help me make one] that would be much appreciated.
I have NO limitations with romance and what types of pairings that are made. (Yuri, Youi or Hetero)
((i consider 2-3 sentences semi-literate))

Aright, so I'm Summer.
I'm pretty friendly, but what some define as mean I may define as funny. Sooo, be chill. I would like a partner that is pretty active, on at LEAST three times a week like. I check gaia every day for the most part, even if I do nothing but check my inbox and get my dailies.
I like description and thoughtful character design. It would be fun for me to actually spend a long time fine tuning a character with someone than to just jump into RP. And it would be nice to have a partner that I have more in common with besides just RP. Doesn't even mean we have to like the same things, as long as we can have good conversation. Eh, 's all I got for now.
Oh, and I hate pictures. Don't bother with those. Unless its personally done for your character, then feel free, I still prefer description though.

Well, I do love to roleplay and am looking for a partner or several to join me in a roleplay. I don't like text speech all that much (I get enough of it from my younger sister). I don't mind the spelling, so, as long as I can understand you, you're fine. I've been roleplaying for quite a bit with several people and one on one's. Either will suit me. I'm pretty imaginative and can come up with unusual names (sometimes coming out with coincidental names) and I can come up with plots. Though, I welcome any other persons plot or ideas for one. I don't bite.. much.. so, I'd love to hear from you if you're interested.
I don't like godmodding that much, so, if you're into doing that, please go look elsewhere. I am generally a calm tempered person but I can only go so far before erupting. That's my only condition. Also, if you do feel like trying it with me.. here's a little hint, if I were a werewolf, damn people would run!
I won't put down my character info just yet but if you do show an interest, I'll come right out with it. Right now, I'm on dial-up broadband so if you do expect daily or more than once a week posts, I'm sorry if I don't get on. My times are random as are the mess ups the dial-up connection loves to have. At any rate, that'll be it for now.

Okay well I've been on gaia for a year now, but have only been RPing for a few months. I would like to use a thread, but you may convince me to use PMs. I'll usually post atleast four sentences per post, and I hate one liners. I'll usually play a girl, but can do guys as well.

i've done rp on paper since the late '70s, with a pretty good range of game systems. i've also been making my own rp's for a while.
i've been on gaia for about a month and a half, and haven't done roll playing here anymore than just the events. i have some basic understanding of what is beginner, and what is literate. i have played any gender, though it has nothing to do with my true nature. i don't do cyber, and romance is ok for a side plot, but only suggestive. i have virtually no clue about chat speak, or whatever this is with the numbers. (so old school).
i'd like to try several different styles of rp to see what i can do, but i don't think i have the attention span for what is called 'literate' rp, posting more than a paragraph. i also don't believe that quantity is the same as quality (in some cases, it's too much for the game itself). having said this, i think one-liners are ok, but only if they work. i seem to have an aversion to the shift key lately, but i get a little annoyed when people go out of their way to not spell, or try for a decent sentence structure. pics are great, but not always necessary, and sometimes distracting, especially if they don't really keep up with the story line. and they can really bog things down sometimes.
i have a hard time getting in to threads that are already a few pages long. i like some thing that i already know what's going on from the beginning. i seem to be better with one-on-one right now, but i need more feedback. i'm not sure i've got this down yet. so, if i can find somebody to put up with me, i'd like to give this a try. xd
p.s. really, really need help learning on-line etiquette.

-Literate, please. By this I mean good spelling and grammar, character depth & development.
- An average post length anywhere within the region of 1-4 paragraphs is fine. I usually give as good as I get.
-Yaoi, Yuri and Het roleplays are all fine by me.
-Side characters make things interesting.
-I'll do most things, but I like modern era fantasy.
-Wheel of Time, anyone?
-A Hogwarts-based roleplay could be interesting.

 To be at least Semi-Literate! That means no one-liners please. A few spelling mistakes or writers blcok once in a while are okay though.
A picture of character on post/PM.
Pretty posts. Tha means color , images , fancy lettering , e.t.c
No Cybering. Gaia would expect that from you anyway. Kissing , Hugging , holding hands and things like that are okay , but If you think you might go too far over PG-13 do the time skip or just don't go over PG-13

Fantasy(Vampires , Fairy's , Werewolves , e.t.c)

 Well hello C; I want a literate/semi literate RP-partner to RP with. I don't do thread RP's, only by PM, so I hope you're fine with that if you're intrested c: Oh, and please write more than just two lines. I have long answers, so I would appreciate that you would write as much as you can. You don't have to have a perfect English, I make mistakes myself since English isn't my first language, but please, have some knowledge of the language before you try to RP. I roleplay;✓ IRL RP's ✓ Fantasy (Vampire, Demons, you name it ~ ) ✓ Yaoi/Yuri (boyxboy, girlxgirl, but I do prefer the first one) ✓ Anything with a good plot, I guess ✓ I RP both as male or a female, gender doesn't matter to me I do not roleplay;✗ RP's without any action ✗ in other words, RP's with a really boring plot ~ = w= I'm not that good at coming up with a plot on my own, but sometimes, when I feel extremely creative, I actually might come up with something good. But yes, there's not many days like those, so if you have a plot ready in your mind, please share it with me. We can also come up with something together if no one has a plot on their mind. I happen to like vampire RP's most at the moment, but not some Twilight s**t, I want real vamps, not some sparkly shiet D; Anyway, feel free to PM me C:

I am hoping to find a literate/semi literate rp partner to do a one-on-one plot. I like group rps but I prefer one-on-one. I will do it through PM on this site, though I prefer emails or instant messenger.
The ocassional one-liner is okay, though I prefer the 2-4 paragraphed replies. They don't have to be long but I would appreciate it if you wrote at least as much as I wrote. You know, work with what we give each other.
Anywho. You don't have to have perfect spelling, but grammar is a must. I'll make mistakes as well but Role plays go by much smoother if we both work hard to make those mistakes as little as possible, Ni?

Hullo^-^ I'm Lizzy looking for a group or one on one Rp ^^ some specs include NOO cyber or really much romance stuff, mabie a little is ok but i don't wanna feel like I'm cheating on my hubby. Little bit of txt speak is ok, but no much the occasional lol i can take just not compete and total text speak I do prefer at least a little literate.. my own spelling and grammar is kinda fail but I'm working on it sweatdrop so some tolerance of my short comings would be good. But a well thought out character is a must. a set story is fine but i don't mind winging it either. I don't usually do amine or book or movie biased RP but I'm wiling to try once ( within reason) humm other then that ..just looking for someone ( or a group) who like to have fun with it and not gonna be like, a one night game then gone. Pm is easier but Thread is fine for a group. shoot me a message if your interested thankies ^_^

hi, my name is dede. i'm looking for someone to rp with not just for say a week or so. i want someone to rp with for a while. i'm used to rping with multiple characters on paper with a friend, but i don't care if we use one character. just make it interesting. :]
some simple things i like and don't like.
+the character has to be made up (i'm sorry, i don't like rping with an already made up character from someones work.) the character has to have a background too (e.i.~someone born into an abusive family and was being sold as a sex slave)
+please, no one word/sentence replies. give us something to work with. i don't care if it's 2 or more paragraphs.
+no cybering or any romance (the romance will make me feel like i'm cheating and i really hate when people do that). keep it pg-13
+i'd prefer to rp through pm, but if you would like we could rp through a thread.
+paranormal (or fantasy as some know it as)-such as vampires, demons, werewolves, shape shifters, etc- is very much excepted.
+PlEaSe DoN't TyPe LiKe ThIs! i hate that so much.
+i don't care about spelling. heck, even i don't always spell words correctly.
