-- Group 3 --
~ Hishida VS Okojo ~
Quote: ~ Rules for Round 1 ~
-- Each RPer will make 5 posts, not counting the intro post.
-- Each post (not OOCs) must have at least 3 lines (in size 12).
-- NO Shikai is allowed.
-- Only Kidous up to level 10 can be used.
-- NO Shumpo is allowed.
-- Not posting for more than 3 consecutive days - after making the intro post - results in immediate loss of the match. - Unless the RPer has warned (accurately and in advance) that he/she will be unable to post for a certain period of time, in which case he/she will be granted that same period to be inactive (not counting for the 3 days limit).
-- Not posting for more than 7 consecutive days prior to making the intro post results in immediate loss of the match. - Exceptions do apply in the same manner as stated in the above point. The area is a large leveled plain. There are some patches of dirt and rocks, but most of it is a grassy field. It's a sunny day, with mild temperature and wind. This is a remote and isolated field, so no other "living" being can be seen for miles.

(( I guess I'll make the first intro post ))
[Intro]
Okojo's eyes peered around as he examined the fighting area. It was quiet, and the minor wind caressed the earth on its' way past him, mussing with his hair and clothes. This was a neutral place, not exactly calming, but definitely not busy. He could nap there or even focus on chatting with Tenri without interruption. Well, if he wasn't waiting for his opponent for the match he was supposed to fight in.
Eyes scanned around, searching for another shape that didn't belong there. He wondered if this space would be used for buildings in the future, or if it would be used for battles as it was going to, right now. Whistling softly to himself, he began stretching.

((Sorry about the intro being so late, my family just got a new puppy so we have been pretty busy lately.))
[Intro]
The dirt under Hishida's feet dispersed with every step he took. The shinigami examined the vicinity as he marched through it and felt pleased. There were no distractions and no obstacles, a perfect location for a fair dual. Over a time span of a few minutes, Hishida could spot an unbefitting shape in the distance. It was none other than the blonde haired shinigami, Okojo.
A feeling of excitement pulsed through his body as he recognized the figure. The two youths had fought once before, and a second chapter to that brawl was about to be added. As Hishida gained some distance, he noticed a certain detail that he hadn’t recognized. One of the shinigami's arms were missing! Instantly a shockwave of shame slammed up against him. Hishida remembered giving his opponent a rather severe injury during a training exercise before the invasion, which he assumed is where Okojo had the incident. Perhaps his opponent wouldn’t have lost his arm if Hishida hadn’t injured him during their spar before the invasion. The match didn’t even seem fair at this point, but from what Hishida had learned about Okojo during when they had fought before, it was that Okojo was the type of shinigami that can adapt. Hishida had no doubt in his mind that Okojo would be a tough adversary, but his feeling of shame lingered.
In an attempt to ignore the discovery, the dark haired shinigami unsheathed his sword with a subtle metallic ring. He then lifted the blade and let it rest against his right shoulder. Eventually the awkwardness of the situation subsided, and Hishida was given a chance to focus on the challenge ahead.

Okojo's whistling continued, even as he heard the sounds of his opponent approaching from behind. He finished one last stretch, muscles flexing, before he turned and smiled at Hishida. "Hey! It's been a while." he commented, sound added onto the end of where he stopped whistling when he smiled at the other. "Ready to continue our fight?" He reached back and drew his blade, the action appearing simple enough that it showed he'd already adapted to at least that action.
Tenri drawn and her blade tip resting on the ground, he grinned a little at Hishida. Last time he fought this shinigami, he'd gotten hurt, though it didn't quite matter because he wound up losing that arm anyways. But, this time... this time he wouldn't get that chance. It was simple movement that his feet carried him to, around in a half-circle as his blade was lifted for a powerful blow in the shoulder region of his opponent. The bleach-blond would have to plant both feet on the ground for balance before he could attack and give a good forceful blow.

Hishida returned Okojo’s grin with one of his own. He then replied to Okojo, I wouldn’t have come here if I wasn’t ready for a fight Okojo-kun. With this, the dark haired shinigami ripped his zanpaktou from its sheath and readied himself for combat. During the first moments of the encounter, Hishida could observe that his adversary seemed much more confident than he had remembered. Whatever the blonde shinigami had learned since they last fought; it was enough to give him some form of determination. The first skirmish that the two combatants had had consisted of Okojo being filled with self doubt and distress, but this situation was the exact opposite.
Hishida’s excitement had now returned and he planned on going all out. Pity was replaced with fortitude, and guilt was replaced with attentiveness. The youth watched as his opponent raced towards him; it was then when Hishida developed his plan. He would have to observe his opponent for the first portion of the fight, but until he knows about the new strengths and weakness that Okojo may now possess, he would have to stay in a defensive state.
As the opposing shinigami prepared to strike, Hishida prepared to defend. Hopefully his reflexes would be fast enough to block any location of his body that would be targeted. Since Okojo would be attacking with only one arm rather than two, Hishida expected his attacks to be much swifter than usual.

(( I've been having a writers block of sorts v_v; Sorry if this post is lame... ))
[2/5]
Okojo's steps brought him to Hishida, and his blade was lifted. Since his opponent was prepared, he wasn't surprised to find the blow blocked to keep the male before him protected from harm. The bleach-blond shinigami smiled a little and moved backward a step. His nerves were starting to show a little as he pulled back fully to think of a better approach. His pause-time gave Hishida his own chance to attack, as well, as the bleach-blond did better when thinking on his feet rather than planning how to attack beforehand.

Okojo’s brief retreat caught Hishida by surprise. It almost seemed like the confidence that once occupied the blonde youth had disappeared. Though the possibility increased Hishida’s confidence, he knew that Okojo was the kind of shinigami that could bounce back with double the force. An urge to attack his adversary tugged at Hishida when he saw Okojo jump backward, thus leaving a fatal opening, but something told him not to. The youth was interested in what his opponent was planning, therefore he stayed stationary. While keeping his basic kendo stance, Hishida stared at his opponent with an observant gaze. The brown eyed death god then came up with his next move.
Over the many years of intensive reiatsu control training, Hishida had developed many small techniques concerning his normal reiatsu, one of which he was going to use right now. The dark haired soul reaper then brought his zanpaktou up to his torso while holding it in a Horizontal direction. He then preformed the action of swiping his left hand across the blade of his sword. Instantly, a surge of reiatsu enveloped the katana, resulting in a constant flow of reiatsu to emanate from the blade. This technique had only been made for the purpose of changing the appearance of his weapon. The skill is basically a bluff to trick an opponent into intimidation. Though doing this does cause a user to over time lose reiatsu, Hishida has trained himself to use minimal amounts of stored reiatsu for lesser techniques such as this. Neither combatant was going to be using massive amounts of reiatsu in a battle that doesn’t allow shikai anyway; therefore Hishida didn’t think much of this factor.
Upon completing the action, a grin creeped across the unseated shinigami’s face as he pointed his reiatsu infested blade at Okojo; a common gesture for a fight to continue.

Okojo's eyes narrowed as he watched his opponent. A flair of reiatsu was felt, and he watched Hishida's blade changed into a deadlier weapon. This piked his interest, however, and he momentarily glanced down to his blade, before nodding lightly at the others' gesture for the fight to continue. His footing shifted, and soon he was moving forward, toward his opponent.
Not one to use very many techniques made the bleach-blond shinigami more of one to depend on his blade. Unless he did use any kidou, or other forms of using his reiatsu, he could fight for a bit longer without getting tired. He wondered how much reiatsu Hishida was using at the moment, and whether or not he would get tired more easily. Okojo hoped the battle wouldn't have to last that long, and he smirked lightly. This was just another sparring round, and he would go with it and enjoy it; hopefully learning something as well.
When he brought his blade down, Okojo shifted it horizontally to cut across the chest. His blade was long enough that, if not blocked correctly, he could still wind up hitting his opponent with the hilt.

It appeared that Okojo was unfazed by Hishida’s technique, which didn’t exactly help his own morale. Though he considered shutting the skill off, he decided not to because it looked so damn awesome. It was only after Hishida’s gesture that Okojo attacked. The dark haired shinigami jerked his wrist to put his zanpaktou into a defensive position. His blade was stretched across his body so that it would be held diagonally opposite to the angle of his opponent’s slash. The Soul Reaper then had his left leg step back, so that he would be able to absorb the impact of his adversaries’ attack more efficiently. The zanpaktous collided; with this, a burst of reiatsu shot from the conflicting weapons. Even though the blonde Death God had only slashed with his single available arm, the power of the blow could have been mistaken for three arms.
After recovering from the impact of the blow, Hishida would push against his opponents blade with his own, in hopes that he would be able to force the one armed shinigami into taking a second retreat. If prevailing in this action, Hishida would, without hesitation, dive at the blonde Soul Reaper while stabbing at him with his zanpaktou. In order to make this an even more effective action, Hishida would apply a jolt of reiatsu to his dive, which should in return propel him at a swifter rate than normal. However, if the daring soul reaper missed his target, he would be left uncomfortably open.

~ Time Over ~
This match will be judged as it is. No more posts will be made to avoid stretching this first Round even further. Though Okojo would win by default, since Hishida took longer than 3 days in between posts, after talking to him (Okojo) he agreed to have the winner still be picked by the judges.
The judges will now make their decision, based on the available number of posts. And nothing else.

I'll have to say that Hishida is the winner.
Hishida: Your description was good, as how you described your actions. I really liked reading your posts. But you could have allowed more to happen within them, even if you did do everything you add to. There's always room to add more to make a post better. Remember that.
Okijo: Your posts, I just thought, were a little lacking. While they were well put together, you did, what I thought, was the bare minimum to keep going. You left out description in a few of them, and even repeated words many times, while when it's not something to take anything off for, gets a little annoying reading over and over. Just try a little harder next time.

I'm going to have to call this one a draw. Both of you were excellent and I simply can't pick between.
Hishida: You are a very good RPer in my opinion because your style for fighting is incredible. The way you write your moves and attacks is just incredible and well done. Aside some minor spelling errors, you were pretty literate too. The only thing that bugged me is that you tend to switch around a little between present and past tense, making it a bit confusing for the reader. You might want to fix that.
Okojo: You were definetely the more literate between the two of you and a noticably talented RPer. I found, however, that your battle RP and posts in general were just a bit lacking. You need to work harder if you want to get anywhere. Overall though, you're quite the writer.
