The area is a large leveled plain. There are some patches of dirt and rocks, but most of it is a grassy field. It's a sunny day, with mild temperature and wind. This is a remote and isolated field, so no other "living" being can be seen for miles.

~ You may begin!!! ~

((Whoot, as said with Okojo; I've warned you about my medical issues.. and will do my best to atleast catch up with the Tourney if my mom allows me. Now- onward to my entrance! ))

»‡«Hatsume»‡« A new figure appeared within the plain's environment. The female's rud coloured eyes searching out to see what was to see. And as she looked and currently saw no opponent thus far, she settled down to allow a quirky bit of humor to run pass her mind. As the shinigami had noticed how apt the name was to it's terrain. Plain. Plain indeed! There was nothing much to see, nothing but rocky dirty bland patches and lonely grasslands. She loved the grasslands though, it felt awkward to see one so left alone... so un-lived in. Her ears couldn't pick on a single life form, no animals... so bugs... They must've scared them off before the match as for nothing with get interrupted or harmed between the soul reaper's battling. How courteous. She would hope that was why...
Exhaling a sigh and embracing the the soft wind barley strolling by. She liked the weather, so calm and peaceful... again.... so Plain. Her hand gently relaxed on top of the handle of her zanpaktou as she waited in for her foe. A quick wagging motion of her furry short ringed tail shifted left to right in a swaying action, she could feel it hit the back of her thighs one by one repeatedly. Hehehe, it tickled her and got her going into a goofy mood right before a battle match. Sticking out her tongue playfully she giggled lightly under her breathe. Teehee. How fun was this?! Hehehehehe!

((I'm sorry to hear that Hatsu, but take your time. I'm not in any hurry.))

[Intro]

The patches of grass that were scattered throughout the field bowed to the wind as a gust of air rolled by. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. It was a shame that this peaceful day would be disrupted by the numerous battles that would be taking place.

As Hishida approached the area of combat, he studied the plain and spotted Hatsume. The first and only time that they had fought was on earth at the sanctuary before the invasion. He was interested in seeing how she had changed since then. The shinigami lifted his arm and waved to the kitsune as he walked towards her. From what he could observe, she seemed to be in good spirits, which was a relief. The youth then thought back to the time after their battle when Hatsume requested a piggy-back ride. He gave a brief chuckle at the memory and continued walking.

Once Hishida reached the kitsune shinigami, he greeted her by saying, hey Hatsume, I suppose this is the part where we fight. A grin appeared across his face upon finishing the sentence. Without waiting for her reply, the dark haired shinigami drew his divine blade and held it at his side. The metal of the sword shimmered proudly as the sun reflected off its deadly edge. As his zanpaktou's lust for battle grew, so did his reiatsu level. After admiring his katana, the youth looked up to Hatsume and raised the tip of his blade, gesturing for the skirmish to begin.

Hatsume:::. Movement, life.... it entered into the fox's senses quickly from this isolated area. Hisida had always been admired for some reason by Hatsume, although she couldn't pin-point why or how... perhaps it was just his aura? Or personality? Either way, when she turned her head and set her rud coloured eyes upon his figure coming closer she returned a proud wave.
It has been awhile since she's seen Hishida aswell, since the liberation, and even then... she only remembered mainly Shinzou and such in battle... Then again, there was alot of ground to cover that faithful day.

It reminded her that he had to have gotten stronger since their last meeting, caution beckoned to her heart when he got close and spoke out. "I suppose so! Hehe, best of luck to us both alright Hishida sama?" She ment her words, and she spoke them in a serious yet proud tone of voice. When he pulled out his blade, she mimicked his actions just as swiftly and quick. There was no doubt in her mind that he had pride and love for his own 'buddy' for say.
That smirk was undeniable, you didn't need words or speech to know what he was telling her. The simple thought and thrill of the soon to be fun of a great battle made her own smirk grow strong on her face. "....And so it begins!" Her smaller body seemed to cross the long blade over her chest as she leaped towards Hishida, attempting to connection and greet her zanpakutou with his. Reiatsu soared as her mind calmed down, focusing on Hishida, his zanpakutou... and despite there not much being around to interrupt the scene; she also kept her alertness to her surrounding environment... it was out of habit for the fox to keep her main focus and senses aimed at all the movement, vibration, and vibes going on around her; she would not allow her eyes to fail her, or her ears to mistake what they hear, or even the smell of trickery...
As for now, it was best to get the battle going, with her left hand free and readied up for anything that was needed... =/ Well.. Yes.

((Sorry for the late post gonk . Haven't had many chances to sit down and write lately.))

The kitsune’s enthusiasm was unmatched, this was an indisputable fact. As Hishida studied his opponent’s movements, he noticed a slight change in her reiatsu patterns. She was definitely being much more cautious than he had remembered. The youth then developed a severe curiosity for what she had learned and how she had changed since they last fought.

Hishida offered a second smile as he listened to the kitsune shinigami’s final words of encouragement. His opponent then leaped towards him and lifted her blade for an attack. With barely a second to respond, Hishida brought up his own zanpaktou in defense. The dark haired shinigami felt a shockwave ripple down his arms as the blades met. Hatsume had certainly grown since their last encounter, but Hishida hadn’t been lazing around either.

After breaking from the lock that the two shinigami’s are currently entwined in, Hishida would take a few steps back in preparation for a strike of his own. Firstly, the shinigami planned on pushing off the ground with as much force as he could muster while brining his zanpaktou up. This portion of his assault was derived from Hatsume’s first attack, but since Hishida is in a much closer proximity of his target than Hatusme was with him, the attack will have much more power if she decides to block it. Once the youth reaches his opponent, he will direct the slash in a downward motion aimed at the top of the kitsune’s head.

While examining his adversary, Hishida noticed something different about the reiatsu surrounding the opposing zanpaktou. Perhaps Hatsume had learned her zanpaktou’s name since they last met? It was unfortunate that shikai wasn’t allowed during this match, because Hishida was interested in her true abilities as a shinigami. That however was a battle for another day; this round is based purely around the basic skills of a shinigami.

Post Number 02/05

-:¦:-Hatsume-:¦:- The blades of the zanpakutou met, as such power and strength could be felt reckishing in & around Hatsume, as they detached all that pressure released along with it. Her eyes following his movements as his feet lead his body away from her own. The female stayed where she was, Blade kept in her firm right hand infront of her as her tail curled upwards; as if her body was preparing to embrace a attack. Her feet firm against the ground were anxious to act out, her heart beating at every passing millisecond.
Hishida Finally acted out, his body coming at her like a locomotive; only this train had a raised blade aimed at her head.
In hopes of successfully dodging the powerful blow to her head, as the kitsune jerked her body to the right to avoid the deadly strike; her torso had also turned to face the left as her right arm swung her Zanpakuto down hopefully on top of his own; pinning it to the ground; or to say; if he attempted to recover quickly and follow her movements with his blade somehow- her countering action may beable stop this from occurring if it did.

Again, if this was successful, Hatsume would find herself lock in a awkward situation. Having her body turned more onto his blade then Hishida himself, not only this- but because of her limited ability of having to keep up close.... She was ultimately stuck where she was. Unless she wanted to depend on other certain abilities... aye; she'd ignore those directions. Over using things can lead to bad things, that's why it was important to train and learn new abilities. "......" Eyes turned over to Hishida's hoping to get a glance of his facial expression. What was he thinking...? Planning..? She herself had to think of something fast too..!

It was expected that the kitsune wouldn’t have had too much difficulty with dodging his attack. Though the assault had deadly intentions, Hishida didn’t. He knew that it would take time to wear his adversary down to the point where he would have a chance at landing a successful strike. Keeping an opponent on their toes was key to achieving this.

Once the kitsune shinigami spun out of the direction of Hishida’s blade, it collided with the earth, causing multiple small pieces of debris to be flung out of the way, thus making a miniature crater. However, the extra amounts of power that had suddenly been thrown into the slash was unexpected. Perhaps a small portion of his aggro reiatsu had accidentally been leaked into the attack? Hishida hoped not, for if that was the case, it meant that the grip that he had around his reiatsu control of that particular reiatsu had been loosened. This was an ugly thought because of how much trauma situations like that had caused him in the past. Even though he was much more skilled at controlling this condition then he was when he had his last incident years ago, he now felt like he had to be extra cautious when monitoring his reiatsu levels; the slightest fault in doing so could lead to disaster. Now that the dark haired shinigami had an additional factor to be wary of, the battle became increasingly difficult. He would not only have to pay extreme attention to his opponent, but also pay extreme attention to his reiatsu. It was as if Hishida was fighting two opponents at the same time!

Once the distressed shinigami was able to assess the situation, he returned to the battle only to find a sword homing in on him. Luckily, the blade was aimed at his zanpaktou rather than him. If it had been aimed at him, there would have been a good chance that he would have lost an important body part (his head). Since the last attack had taken so much energy out of him, he had a hard time retrieving his zanpaktou, but the force of her blade collapsing upon his had caused his sword to get stuck in the crater he had just created. The brown haired youth was now desperately trying to free his weapon, but judging from how deeply wedged the blade was, it would take at least three whole seconds to free it, though in the world of combat, three seconds can be mistaken for three hours.

†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† Curiosity tugged at her when she watched the much taller soul reaper, it nearly appeared as if he was struggling with something else. Although her blade landed, and she felt trapped, nothing came at her, no defence, no kick- it bewildered her greatly. Her body nudged her to strike, but her mind told her to do something entirely else.
A very irritated frown grew onto her lower lip, why did sentimental feelings have to kick in? It was bothersome, entirely .. just.. urrgh! >=0 But she got over it, lifting her zanpakutou blade. Indeed, she would allow a easier path for Hishida to tug out his blade, or even wait for him to pull the thing out, but as soon as he did, and the blade was free, her heart-felt offer would plummet. Giving a quick swiping motion to his zanpakutou, as if attempting to force it to the side and allow a opening.
Whatever was bothering him had to be bad, for him to have a hard time to concentrate on battle... hrrm. She couldn't help but to feel worried deep in that mischievous mind of hers. >,..,>;

How come the kitsune didn’t strike the helpless shinigami as he pulled at his blade? Hishida had fully expected to be struck down during his attempt at freedom, but no contact had been made. Taking advantage of the moment, Hishida desperately tried to release his sword from its earthly jail. Within the predicted three seconds that was given to the dark haired death god, a blade was freed. Upon ripping the blade from the crater, the shinigami had a temporary loss of balance. Instantly after this occurrence, a second sword was being swung at his. To avoid another fatal opening, Hishida used his moment of instability to his advantage. The youth leaned back and went into a one handed handstand; immediately, he pushed off with his grounded arm and went bounding into the air. Within milliseconds, he was reunited with the ground, though he did land somewhat awkwardly, at the same time he landed with both feet.

The action had created a nine feet distance between the two combatants. Swiftly, the rather shaken shinigami returned to his normal stance and prepared for another exchange of blows. Only seconds later did the dark haired youth discovery a small scar on his left arm. Though the wound was not serious, it did sting with severity and would certainly interfere with his fighting. The death god thought back to when he could have gained the cut and remembered seeing a blade being swung at him while he was in his handstand position. He offered a momentary groan to the injury before returning his focus to Hatsume.

Not wanting to be caught on the defensive again, Hishida charged his opponent with double the intensity and prepared multiple slashes that would soon be assaulting the kitsune.

{Post 04/05}

†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† Her aimed slash was swift and quick, but so was Hishida; the movement was so quick it was unsure if she even hit until the scent of blood drifted itself into the air. Deciding to keep the distance, she wouldn't race after the taller shinigami in a attempt to pursuit him; instead she'd keep her bearings and come with a plan on how to deal with Hishida. Her stance was calm, poised and obviously controlled from her normal hyper-activities of wanting to charge and do-whatever came to mind.
With her blade in a firm grip of her right hand, she watched as he recovered from his flexible maneuvering and prepared himself. She observed carefully while preparing to defend herself, she watched as he noticed and observed his own wound; alerting the fox.
His sudden expression catching nearly off guard when he turned his gaze back onto her... she flinched as she bearly had time to react when he came rushing in. She could feel the land splintering with vibrations from his quick pace as she lowered her body down and swiftly turned into 360°; her foot swinging and scrapping across the surface of the grassland to kick up dirt, rocks and other debris in his direction... Her blade would continue to be held, tilted over her ready for Hishida if he burst through the trick anyways. It was often she seemed to enjoy messing with the environment to her advantage with foes when things got tight or so-on.
Her small slick move was simply a attempt to use his momentum against himself as she tried to send the dirt and such into his face to temporary blind and confuse him within his charge; if it worked it may have effected his possibly continued attack at the kitsune; if not she'd beable to fend against the first strike but as his fierce thrusts or slashes of the blade continued her body would feel the strain of the force of each blow and have harder time catching up with the next; it would only end up with her not being able to keep up with his powerful swings, having her maneuvering body hit across the right edge of her torso...
The pain surged through her side as the skin shred and tissues became damaged; she couldn't tell how bad the wound was, what she did know was she had to get out of the situation somehow. Her composure was calm even through the pain, her facial expressions shown the discomfort of pain- but she kept silent from there on. As if trying instincts forced her to not show weaknesses. >,..,>; Awwh.

Hishida closed his eyes as he evaluated the incoming projectiles. A few pieces of dirt and rock assaulted his body and face, but it wasn’t enough to stop his blind dash. It was then when a rather large chunk of dirt landed right on his scar. The scar was stinging even more brutally then before, which was why Hishida slowed down his charge. Even though the pained shinigami had slowed himself down, he was still planning on following through with his attack.

Every muscle in his body was strained as he began the barrage of slashes. Each passing second daunted him as he began feeling more and more weighted. He then felt his blade make contact, not with the ground, but with Hatsume. The sensation of his zanpaktou grinding against the kitsune’s body sent a brief chill up his arms. Instantly recognizing this, Hishida jumped backwards and out of the fray. His arm still stung profusely, but his mindset was currently occupied by the blood trickling down his blade. The youth then turned his gaze back to his wounded adversary. Just by examining her face, he could tell that she was in some definite pain. The buffeted soul reaper let his weapon rest as he stood in place, silently watching the wounded kitsune, waiting for her next move.

He panted with ferocity as he tried to regain his lost energy. It was then when he felt a prolonged sensation of pain stab through his gut. Immediately, Hishida crumbled to the ground, dropping his zanpaktou in the process. Both hands grabbed at the area of discomfort as he tried to think of what could be causing it. Then it hit him; during his attack, he must have lost focus on his aggro reiatsu. The discovery was frightening; he would have to regain control quickly. If he failed in this task, the reiatsu loss would kill him.

Sorry, I had a brain-fart at the end. @0@ We're having a heat-wave... and it's effecting my Roleplaying. -brain and mind/body is fried and being drained of life-

†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† As Hishida moved away; her attention towards him focused better. She should've used that chance to get to him, she should've ignored the pain! How dare she cause herself to blunder, to make a mistake and get hurt. Her body lowered, cowering to the ground as she leaned forward- left hand cupping the slit area where the wound resigned. Compressing the lose of blood by adding pressure to the surface area, she was no stranger on how to handle wounds- but rarely found herself having one as bad as this. The red moist liquid slipped between her tightened digits, flowing just under her palm as she put extra pressure feeling the blood breathe her palm push and flow against her hand. "......" She kept still, Watching Hishida just as carefully as she was focusing on her own body. His expressions, his vibes- his reiatsu; there was defiantly a change in all this. "....Hishida! " Nonplussed, Hatsume could only sharply spill out his name before having her insistent body and energy help her up by using most of the muscles and movement from her waist down. It was a attempt to not do anymore damage to the painful wound Hishida had inflicted upon her; just from her certain movements and where the pain was- she knew medically what was wrong.
Shifting her zanpakutou back into it's scabbard after switching hands, she increased her speed as her padded feet jogged as quick and carefully as they could carry her towards Hishida's side. Bending her ankles/hocks firmly as she tippy-toed down, bending her knees to make sure she used as less as possible of her upper muscles to bring herself to his side. "...You're Reiatsu." Worried words quivered from her vocals, a unbloodied right hand softly placed itself onto his back or stomach; depending on what side wasn't laid against the rocky ground. She wasn't much of a energy-typ of a doctor, the only thing she could offer was to treat wounds manually. It wouldn't stop her from trying to coax his Reiatsu to raise again, attempting to induce or leak out a soft gentle reiatsu from her own energy, moving her hand onto his as she spoke out once again. "...Can you use it..? Please, Come back...." Her voice was nothing more then a heart-broken whisper, as if she was talking to his energy, his reiatsu like it could listen and hear her. " And indeed, she was trying to tempt the energy back, shifting her legs as to allow herself to lay on her right side on the ground next to Hishida wearing her worried caring expressions. "Don't give up brother... alright? Fight it from dying, Come and let me help you fight it." She nearly whimpered under her breathe, it being almost not audible to most ears.
So she laid next to him, her left hand still cupped over her own wound; which was nothing much more then torn skin and badly damaged muscle. Barely missing that of her large intestine, due to the hard, tough external oblique muscle- it made it extremely difficult to move any section of her upper abdomen, and made it impossible to turn or rotate her body around in a twisting manner. Her inner abdomen muscles that would consist of a man's "Six pack" was unharmed, making it easier to pull forward- but with major pain...
So as she shifted her body and continued in her attempt to use her own reiatsu to either coax his own aggro reiatsu back to life, or allowing this possibly 'aggressive' energy to notice this calmed submissive energy and if it was possible- let it strike out back to life as it took or manipulated her current 'submissive' reiatsu. It was either way that the short foxen would move closer to him, her tail lifeless and wrapped in between her legs.

((I'm having a heat wave where I live too!!! O.O))

Hishida’s heart beat furiously as he fought the deadly energy. Why did his reiatsu have to act up now? It was a pointless question, but the youth wished he knew the answer. Dozens of reiatsu control techniques were flying through the shinigami’s head, but none seemed to work. He then tried to slow down his breathing and attempted to think of another plan. A hand touched the fallen soul reapers back, which was when Hishida noticed Hatsume at his side. She had come to aid him, which gave Hishida some form of relief, though it did not last long. He knew that there wasn’t anything that she could do about his condition. A few muffled words spilled into the dark haired shinigami’s ear, but none were processed. Seconds later, a stream of soft, gentle reiatsu was siphoned into Hishida’s being. A feeling of enlightenment swelled up inside the grateful shinigami, and for a short moment, it was as if nothing had ever happened. Though Hishida was happy for the gift, it didn’t last long, for the foreign reiatsu had entered the shinigami’s body only to meet a single, definite fate. Almost immediately after Hatsume’s reiatsu had entered the youth’s body, Hishida’s own reiatsu had acted. Within milliseconds, the submissive reiatsu was devoured by Hishida’s own reiatsu.

The shinigami’s vision began to blur, his breathing hastened, and a high pitched ringing noise began to develop in his eardrums. Multiple sweat droplets race down the Death God’s face as the pain worsened. Just a few more seconds and it would all be over; just a few more seconds and he would be dead. As Hishida inched closer and closer to his doom, something else was making its way towards him. A string of reiatsu had been slithering toward the defeated shinigami; the source was none other than his own zanpaktou. No message came with the suppositive cure, just the relief of another near death experience. The reiatsu poured into the weakened shinigami as it made contact with him. The pain that was once strangling the youth immediately disappeared once the new reiatsu began occupying Hishida. Each particle of aggressive reiatsu was being neutralized; it was over. Every physical ailment that had been taking over his senses retreated, and with this, a new feeling of bliss took over. Though he will always be living with this condition, for now, he would be safe. Once Hishida returned to reality, he looked over to his zanpaktou and muttered a simple, “Thanks”. The youth then sat up and redirected his gaze at the worried kitsune, and in a playful sort of manner, asked the ultimate question, “Who won?”

I'll have to say that Hishida is the winner of this match.

Hatsume: You seem like a great writer in my opinion, but you need to think of your readers more. You need to learn to seperate your paragraphs and work on your spelling and grammer a bit more, otherwise it's difficult for people to read your posts. The smilies are cute and all, but that's not very proper for an RP post. If you try to work on these things, I have no doubt that you'll go far.

Hishida: You're greatist asset by far in RP is your battle skills. The way you write your movements and attacks is incredible. Kudos to you. Sometimes though you tend to switch around a little between past and present tense with your writing, making it a bit confusing to read. I would try to fix that.

Overall, good job on an excellent match you two. I hope to see more of your writing in the future.

I'll make this short and sweet, since I know you guys want this to end.

Hishida is the winner in my choice as well.

Nice job to you both though >.>
