It was a fine and blissful morning. Toki could hear the birds singing and smell the water on the grass.. What a delightful smell it was. He trailed along the forest. Watching his step, as to not step on anything important. He would normally be flying, high up in the sky. But today, this fine morning. He wanted to feel the fresh dew of the grass and leaves as he walked through. He had been in the forest plenty of times.. But there was always something new and different to see. Every time. Then again, that could be said about any place. As he walked along, in whatever direction the wind led him. His mind began to go through random songs. He felt like singing, this morning. Just as the birds he could hear. His ears would twitch as the birds lullaby reached him. He wanted to sing back.. But he didn't know what song to sing. Until it hit him! A song.. A perfect song. He took a deep breath before he began to sing. He cared not who heard him.. "See the sun forever falling Let the setback fall through the cracks Keep us safe from ever crawling Let me know a life so sweet
There's so much life here And so much pain, we forget There's so much life As morning comes And its real, the silence
Say you wanted love And you want it to feel So real forever, well Remember why you have come And all the s**t that's caving in is gone forever
And it's real the silence.." He sang, as he walked along. His voice was very angelic, not like his appearance. And even in the lowest of tones, it could be heard a mile away. He enjoyed singing at random moments. And hoped the birds enjoyed his song, as much as he enjoyed them. Once he was finished with his song, he let out a bright smile. This morning was going quite nicely. And he hoped the rest of his day would go just a smoothly.

Houka wasn't one to have the best of luck, she was still frustrated about the earlier stallion that challenged her, but a bit more at peace then she could be when she found she won the intellectual fight. She couldn't help but let out a deep and miserable sigh. Being new to these lands with a herd finally bothered her a bit. She was so use to roaming the desert and relaxing in the forest streams when she felt like it. This new arrival thing with foals everywhere she turned and a Herd leader that was a bit to fatherly to her liking had her feeling even more smothering. Her hair couldn't help but twitch when she heard a soothing sound. Her curiosity got the best of her as she wandered towards that warm sound. When she finally spotted the source she jerked back a bit. 'Such a poet.' She thought to herself. She couldn't believe a male would have such a beautiful voice. She was a bit unsure on how she'd approach him, spotting his wings made her feel a bit more insecure about herself. Taking a step back, she didn't notice the branch in the grass, stepping on it as it made a rather loud snap under her hoof.

Toki had heard many songs.. And always kept record of them in his mind. He had never made up a song on his own.. He wasn't that good. But he enjoyed singing the songs of others. The songs that were taught to him, whether it be from a two-legger or another Soq. Though, most he had heard from his two-legger.. To bad she wasn't as lucky as he when it came to having such a good voice... The thought of his two-legger singing made him let out a little chuckle. He shall visit her again, soon.
His thoughts were then directed to a loud sound suddenly made. He was quick to look to see what had made it. Just in case he had come across danger. He'd get ready to spread his wings, and find somewhere else to sing his songs.. He wasn't much for conflict. Lucky for him, however.. It didn't seem to be any danger at all. His eyes were stuck on a mare.. Much of a tan color, and a shade of orange took over her pelt. With eyes as bright as day. He gave her a look over.. She seemed harmless. Then again, you could never be to sure now a days. Be he wasn't afraid to find out. He could surely escape if she were to try an harm him.
"Why, hello there." He greeted her with a smile.
Toki had a very confusing and disappointing past. He had gotten in a lot of trouble, in his earlier days. He had since changed. And was a much more gentle, calm, and a bit charming. He would never hurt anyone, unless he had to, and was provoked. He would much rather enjoy a calm day, rather then one full of drama. He especially liked to relax during the night. The stars and the sky were his domain. He could live up there forever, if he could.

Houka was startled by the noise but even more startled when the red stallion noticed and spoke to her. Her ears were upright and she couldn't help but stutter some.
"Uh, um, h-hel-hello." She took a deep breath to calm down more.
She couldn't help but stare for awhile. She's seen the Wind and Angeni type of soquili's but never one with such wings as this red male had. She couldn't help but think ruby's and the constellations. It made her even more curious on if his wings could take him that far up into the night sky. Giggling to herself she shook her head, remembering that if anyone would go out into the vastness of space that they wouldn't survive.
Gathering her thoughts she gave him a soft smile. "I'm so sorry, I must have interrupted your singing. Please keep going though, I mean it's up to you. I've never hear such lovely music in my life."
It was the truth, she was never around any kind of music besides the birds singing or the wind whistling through the trees. It made her wonder if she was good enough to sing just as lovely herself, but was a bit to insecure to sing.

She didn't seem harmful at all. More like a deer in the head lights.. Especially after he had greeted her ever so kindly. Someone who was going to be harm to him wouldn't have surely greeted him back with such a stuttering manner. He let out a little chuckle to himself. He couldn't think of any who had been so nervous, on a first encounter.. Well, actually, he could.. But she didn't show it as much as this mare did.
He returned the smile she gave him. "No need to apologize. I had just finished my song."
He probably wouldn't have continued to sing. Maybe hum while making his way through the forest. But his singing was surely done for the day. That is, unless he was asked to sing. Toki would never reject any sort of simple request from company. His last encounter had asked to see him fly. And he did just that. Nothing wrong with be nice. Right? Especially if it was just in you to please new company with simple request. He was a pleaser, one would suppose.

Just by being around this red winged stallion in such a small amount of time she was already feeling more at ease by his presence. Her expression even showed how comfortable she was becoming.
She was rather disappointed, hearing that he was already done singing. "Oh, You have quite an Angelic voice by the way." She wasn't the type to push anyone to do something they didn't feel like doing.
"I'm Houka." She thought maybe introducing herself would make things go a bit smoother instead of dead silence, which she was to good at causing. "What is you're name? That's if you don't mind me asking."

Toki very much enjoyed the company of others. And he was glad that the morning had brought him some. His day was already going as well as he had hoped it would. Walking the forests alone wasn't always something he enjoyed doing. Though he did it a lot. He would much rather have the company of someone else. Whether it be a foal, stallion, or mare. Others around always kept his mind away from things he didn't want to be thinking about.
"Why, thank you." He smiled.
He had heard that compliment before. But thought nothing of it. He didn't think his voice was as great as others said.. Only because he couldn't hear himself sing, the way others heard it. You can never know when someone is lying or not.. Then again, he had heard many good things about his voice. Maybe he was just in denial. I mean he looked like a rock star.. He had to have some sort of talented voice.. Right? Either way. He still didn't think much of it. And surely wouldn't show that to others who were so kind to say such kind words.
"Nice to meet you, Houka." He bowed, slightly. "I'm Tokidoki."
See, Toki didn't mind silence during in the middle of conversation. Or when just meeting someone. As long as they didn't feel awkward, and were obviously showing it. It'd be all good. 'Cause if they're obviously feeling awkward, then he might start to feel the same. Then it would just start to feel weird.. And, it wouldn't be a nice meeting. It would be a weird and awkward one. Lets hope it didn't turn out that way. Haha.

Houka was rather surprised that she was bowed to and felt rather flattered. No one has ever treated her so kindly before.
Placing one front hoof in front of the other she lowered her head in a bow, returning the kindness. She wasn't the type to treat others as if they were scum of the earth unless they proved otherwise and Toki seemed nothing of the sorts, it made her smile.
"The pleasure is all mine, Tokidoki." She liked how his name just rolled off her tongue it was an amusing but very fun name to say.
Raising her head back up she shook her mane where non of her braids would get in her way of seeing. She was pondering to herself if this stallion would mind a small stroll or anything similar. Getting to know this stallion better might help her she though to herself. Maybe she's have a bit more confidence in herself if she made a few more friends.

Toki smiled as she bowed back. Continuing to watch her.. Waiting to see if she might say anything else. It didn't seem that she would. So, he began to ponder what he might say next. What could he really say..? Actually, what couldn't he say? Should he ask her a question? Make a statement about the weather, the area? Toki liked company.. But sometimes he just wasn't very good at starting up a conversation. Which might seem surprising to him.. Which his outer appearance, and all. But hey! Nothing wrong with that!
"So, what brings you out here?" He asked, a bit interested.
That was always a good question to ask someone you've just met. If they would answer it anyway. You never know what someone could be doing.. Anywhere! Looking for something? Going through some sort of problem.. Just wondering around. Sometimes amazing stories would told, with just a simple question like that. One might think Toki had some amazing story behind him. But when encountered with the same question.. His answer was usually the same.. Just wondering, would be his answer. No real excitement there. But I suppose there could be, if you think there will be.. Or know it will.

She pondered that question for a second. How could she answer such a question when she really didn't know to well herself. She didn't want o take long to answer.
"I was just wandering around, trying to get away from the herd I'm in. It's rather noisy, in the bad sort of way with all the new comers. So I guess you could say I was looking for some peace and quiet from it all." She tried to explain, a bit nervous. "That was until I heard you singing. It really helped me relax."
She couldn't help but stare at his wings often. It made her so curious about them, wondering if they were hard as metal or soft like bunny fur.
"What about you? What brings you so far out here?" She just had to return the question, she figured it would be fair since she let him know what brought her out.

Getting away from her herd? That was something he'd never say. Toki didn't roam around in a herd. And when he went to visit his two legger, there was only one other Soq that came around from time to time. And I'm sure he was not as annoying as a while bunch of noisy Soq. The thought of so many Soq making so much noise made Toki cringe a bit. But nothing to noticeable. He was glad, however, that his singing helped her out.. It was always nice to help others out.
"Me? Just wondering." He smiled.
Toki was always wondering the lands. He would visit the same place many a times. He liked to revisit places, you never know who you might meet again. Not only that, but he had been practically everywhere.. Kinda hard not to visit the same place more then once. Also, he was usually, always moving. Unless he decided to stay with his two legger for a little while. Other then that, he was out flying the skies and exploring the lands.
