D entered the new Route, seeing more of a variety of Pokemon than the first Route. He seemed more ready to train, and possibly even catch a few Pokemon. As soon as he had started to take his next step, an elderly man came running up to him, searching for his Peeko, a Wingull. He explains to D that the Pokemon often comes here to play, but looses track of time, especially when Peeko plays with the other Pokemon. When D had heard this, he brought out his Treecko to help him look for the Pokemon. Treecko searched near the grass, while D searched by the water. The old man then shouts in joy as he is able to see Peeko flying ontop of the water, playing with the other Pokemon. However, the Wingull did not seem to notice him, being quite discouraged now. D then held out his Pokeball, and had called Treecko back by this time. He held the Pokeball high above him, waiting for the sun to shine perfectly on it to attract the Wingull's attention, which it had done indeed. The Wingull speed towards the old man and D, and stopped once the Pokeball had gone away, but recognized the old man, and continued to flap towards them happily. The elderly man thanked D, and immediately gave him a ticket on his boat to go to either Dewford Island or Slateport City. D thanked the elderly man, as he saw him and Peeko the Wingull run back happily to their home. D looked back at the area once more, taking the graceful scenary in, deciding that he would try to catch a few Pokemon that he wanted to have for so long. D held his Pokeball in his hand, containing Treecko, and started his search to find more Pokemon.

D looks in the grass for a Pokemon, and as he is about to get one, another Pokemon jumps up from behind him. As he automatically tossed his Treecko out of his Pokeball to battle the wild Pokemon.

Treecko and D were a bit tired of seeing so many Wurmple in the area, but knew that they were good for training, but right now, they were a bit too easy. Treecko used Tackle to faint the Wurmple easily.

D continued his search to find a new Pokemon, as he looked thoroughly into the grass. He was quite patient, however, as he continued on.

When D found a Ralts, he was quite happy, as Treecko could almost read his mind, and that D could read Treecko, when his Pokemon had used Tackle on Ralts with such presicion to leave it with a single touch to make Ralts faint. Ralts only used Growl. Treecko looked back at D with an affirming nod, and D answered back with a nod as well. D reached into his belt and pulled out a Pokeball, instantly catching Ralts.

D was back again to finding for more Pokemon to battle, searching in the grass, while being quite pleased witht the Ralts he had caught.

When D had come upon a Zigzagoon, he also noticed that this was also not the Pokemon he had seen from earlier. When he looked closely at the ground, he saw that the footprints still went on, as Treecko took care of the wild Zigzagoon with a Tackle.

D continued looking the grass for a few more Pokemon to battle, and to also hopefully Level Up his Ralts as well.

When D came upon a Zigzagoon, still not the one which he had met at Littleroot Town, he sent out Ralts, and immediately returned it and sent out Treecko. The Zigzagoon used Tackle, while D and Treecko decided to use an attack that they still have not used before, but had agreed mentally. With one Absorb, the Zigzagoon was down and Treecko was fully healed.

D was quite happy with the result of the last battle, and had seen of how the attack and Nature of his Pokemon increased the power and damage inflicted upon the wild Zigzagoon. He saw a small patch of grass move once more, as he approached it.

D sent out Ralts, and once again returned it immediately back to his Pokeball sending out Treecko against the wild Surskit. The Surkskit performed Bubble, with no effect. With another Absorb, Treecko knocked out the wild Surskit with ease.
Treecko: XP = 30/110
Ralts: XP = 20/60

D came upon Youngster Calvin. He immediately sent out Poochyena, and D sent out Ralts. D once again returned Ralts, and sent out Treecko. Poochyena used Tackle on Treecko, as Treecko used Absorb. Poochyena barely had any health left, performing one more Tackle, as it fainted after Treecko's next Absorb, ending the battle. D had noticed that Ralts had also learnt Confusion.

D battled Bug Catcher Rick next. Both Treecko, from within his Pokeball, and D knew that this battle was going to be easy for them. Rick sent out Wurmple, and D responded with Ralts, returning it instinctively, and sending out Treecko. Wurmple used Tackle, with a little effect on Treecko, as Treecko also used his Tackle, causing Wurmple to faint. Treecko was returned to his Pokeball once more, as D sent Ralts out to face Rick's second Wurmple, as D called his Pokemon back once again, bringing out Treecko. Rick's Wurmple had used Tackle, while Treecko used Absorb to weaken it, as Wurmple responded once more with a Tackle, and Treecko used Absorb once more, healing itself once more, and causing Wurmple to faint. D also noted that Treecko had learnt Quick Attack.
Treecko: XP = 50/120
Ralts: XP = 20/80
Gained 140 P
