'Kay so personally, I think the Legend of the Seeker would be lovely if only it was remotely similar to the books! Sure it's a great Tv series but it bugs me how much it lacks similarity to the books.

Haha, yeah there's a lot of things I would have loved to see. I was really disappointed about the barrier aswell, it looked too Sci-Fi for my taste.

It was too thin and Darken Rahl was able to get it down because he traveled the underworld this it was just a veil that with the right amount of magic could be torn.

Mmm, yeah that to, but even the overall appearance I hate, it looked too jell-o-ie, too Sci-Fi. I pictured it more of a glowy-mist,like a green miasthma or green fog.

Well I saw it as more of an invisible wall that the closer you got the greener the sight, similar to the books.

I agree that the tv series would be so much better if it even remotely followed the series. The first book has enough plot twists to use for episodes for a first seasons. I don't know why they insist on pulling things from the fifth book and stuff. And I'm not sure why they thought they needed to change the fact that Kahlan is the only Confessor left.
