"I am a vice-captain in my other guild"
I believe I make a qualified captain. I Both have the RP skills and spends ample time on GAIA to participate in all we do. With that said I hope I can become a captain^^;
Raising her head from the grass, Nu yawned before catching a speeding dart hurtling at her. Groaning, she examines the projectile more closely to find a note revealing a challenge directed to her.
Come to the Squad Six barracks in ten minutes, and be ready to die!
Walking through the door, Nu stops at the center of the sparring ground and cups her hands. "Yo, I'm here! Where the hell are you?!" Getting no reply, Nu points a ringed finger to one of the support beams. "Oh lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, you who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado number 33! Sōkatsui!" The move went without a hitch, releasing the blue energy that broke the beam and caused a hole in the ceiling, revealing a man sheepishly landing, appearing as though it was to be expected.
"Yo~ Nu-chan, what's with breaking the ceiling, a bit overkill ne?" The man dusts off ceiling debris from his suit and adjusts his tie before flashing her a pearly smile. "You can't be a bit more subtle to your lieutenant can you?"
With a smirk, Nu reaches over to him and twirls his tie, drawing closer to his ear. "No, I can't, especially-" Pounding on one of his feet while talking, she forms a wicked smile. " When some people leave death challenges lying around!" Releasing her grip, Nu takes a step back, waiting for a response.
"But hey, I really did want to fight you, y'know~" Ignoring his bruised foot and pride, he walks over to a nearby wall and picks up a shinai. "So let's see what a captain can do!" He throws another shinai her way and gets into a defensive stance, already thinking of some ways to beat her.
"Heh, we're going to play with toys?" With a sigh, she catches the bamboo blade and closes the distance between them, bringing a devastating blow hopefully to his head.
"Not gonna work!" With a twirl of his wrist, he brings the take in a angle, both blocking her strike while preventing her from attacking further.
"Cheater..." Using one hand to point at his forehead, she give a playful smirk. "You know I am bad with shinais!" Breaking free from the sword lock, she backs up ten feet and shouts. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hado number 63! Raikōhō!"
Realizing that a pointed finger means another spell, he whispers, "Tozansho." Creating a triangular barrier which refracts the high level kido and consequently destroys the entire playing field. "See? Look what you do..." Throwing aside the shinai, Shinji sighs and looks around ,assessing the damage. "Going to take a while to replace all this stuff." This time trying to focus on his opponent ,he spots Nu unconscious, sprawled against a wall. "Oh boy....." Lifting her up, he starts to take her to the 4th divisions' barracks. "Next time we will finish this.."
The Guild that I am Captain and Owner of is Learn to Become a Literate Role-Player. I have owned this guild for four years, if memory serves me right, and been here for it's several transformations.
I wish to become a Captain because I have been a fan of Bleach ever since it came out on screen. After that it didn't take me long to find it online and read every translated chapter. I know extensive information about Bleach, and what I don't know I can easily look up. If it is my Gaian age and experience that you wish to know about, I have been on Gaia for five years as stated above. I have enough gold that I have been able to give such presents as a Coco and Katana to people and be able to buy more. I've written a novel that I plan to have published in the near future. If there are any other such facts you wish to know, please ask. I feel as though these qualities make me worthy of the position.
Below is my RP sample. Sorry for the double in length that you required. It was my introduction to an RP that was started not to long ago. The character's name is Vivica Irontooth. I hope you enjoy.
Why should we select you for a Captain?
I’m not sure what you guys look for in a Captain but I think I am quite capable of the position. I’m literate and will be active. I’m good with keeping track of things so I would be able to manage having a squad. I’m able to set a good example for others. I’m a responsible person who tries to keep the peace and think things over rather then mindlessly jump into things.
RP sample:
A bored Spiral weightlessly walked across the night sky of Karakura town. He was on a usual patrol since he had nothing better to do. He heard a faint crying in the distance and could make out that it was a young girl with a chain protruding from her chest and she was sobbing on the floor. Spiral approached "What's wrong? Maybe you should be passing on to Soul society before something mean comes around." Spiral reached for his Zanpakutou and drew it but in that instant he effortlessly slashed the air behind him. Except it wasn't just air, a colossal hollow once stood behind him, but now with a gash of blood across its face. "You thought you could use this girl as bait for a much bigger fish, huh? Well, it didn't work." The Hollow then began to disintegrate. Spiral tapped the bottom of his zanpakutou against the girl's forehead and then went on his way. "Farewell.", he whispered. The soul burial had commenced.
Another one:
Spiral slowly walked across the field of destruction that was left in the wake of the attack. With every step he heard the crunch of burnt debris beneath his feet. He observed that every home that once stood there had been crumbled. It must have meant that the village was destroyed in one swift and powerful blow. A small breeze gently caressed his haori. “So you’ve finally decided to reveal yourself, Nachiito?” He said as he lifted his head to face Nachiito.
“Have you really fallen as low as to destroy these homes and everyone in them?” Spiral said with a small hint of emotion and noticed that Nachiito had picked up on this. He reached to his right waist and pulled out his zanpakuto. “I suppose that you won’t learn your lesson with a simple scolding.” He pointed his blade directly at him and slashed the air with a quick diagonal slash. “Revolve the universe, Estrella!” A blue ethereal drill zoomed out from his zanpakuto and headed straight towards Nachiito’s head.

I would like to become a captain for the reasonings of:
a) I think it would be fun, since Squad 11 is my favorite of all the Gotei 13
b) I would really like to see all of the Captain spots filled
c) The character I created seems pretty suited to the job, being a little similar to Zaraki
d) I am, in my humble opinon, a good roleplayer, and think I would be suited to being a captain, whom id assume is an intergral part to the eventual storyline in the guild. Thanks for considering me ^.^

Tywin grinned. So he was to be the next Squad 11 captain, hm? It was a good choice on the captain-commanders part. Tywin loved to kill high-powered hollows, despised Kido, and worked well with a close knit unit. He also relied mostly on brute force, just like the name of the squad implied- the force squad. "This is going to be interesting." he said to himself. He had greatly admired the last Kenpachi, Zaraki. The man had been a living legend before he dissapeared and Tywin had learned a great deal from him. To be the one to fill his shoes was the greatest honor he could achieve.
Suddenly, he cursed. He hadn't asked, but he had a sneaking suspicion he'd have to wear a damn Captain's uniform now. He hated the loose clothing, it wasn't right for fighting. No! When one fought, they should be armored. It was just smart, to protect oneself. Sure, it weighed him down a bit, but the damage it would defend against was worth it. It made him even more unkillable then the other captains of the Gotei 13, or so he liked to believe. Deciding to test his theory by not wearing the clothing they had provided, he put it from his mind. Now it was time to meet his squad.
"Squad 11! This is your new captain speaking. Report to the meeting room, I have something to discuss." he called out through the loud-speaker system, then remembered...he had to have people join, first. No one really talked about why, and Tywin had no clue, but a lot of Gotei Members were missing...it wasn't like it was back when Aizen Souske was a captain, with full growing squads. Hell, most squads didn't even have a Lieutenant anymore. Not even Tywin..he'd have to work on finding on. "Ah well. I'm sure both my Lieutenant and squad members will attract themselves, considering how specialized my group is. They'll know if they want to be here or not." he said, of course to himself as he was still alone. Looking down at his captain uniform on the desk, he grinned. He knew what to do with it! Picking up the white robe, he ripped the sleeavs and some excess material off, hastily constructing a ragged cape to replace the black one he always wore. Now he could show off captainship even when in his armor. It even still had the Squad symbol on the back.

Standing inside the gates of the Earth kingdom's palace a figure stood in silence gazing around at the soldiers and nobility that seemed to wander around in their own minds. Smiles were present on most faces and the sound of laughter could be heard from the gates. Vivica had no such delusions of peace in her mind. Then again, ever since she had tried to revert back to her Drake form and failed she had seen the world as a much darker place.
Looking down at the ruby red cloak that engulfed her entire body Vivica raised her hands up to waist level in front of her. Patches of scales blotted out her human skin like leaked ink on paper. She was using a minor amount of her element to maintain the belief that she was not here. It wasn't cloaking magic; she had lost the talent for that with her Drake body. No, this was just a hint of shadow that played at peoples minds. If people didn't want to see a creature of shadow standing inside their gates, they would not see her. It was a trick she had learned oh so long ago that worked on not only animals, but on humans as well. Drakes tended to see right through her illusions merely because they were the same species.
A gust of wind blew lightly past Vivi, ruffling the feathers on her head mantle. It was removable, though it was once part of her Drake form, so she continued to wear it almost religiously. With her element working to disguise her, she had no need for a hood to cover her head. Otherwise she would have traded her mantle for the hood. Some form of her once glorious horns remained to show where they had been. It would have looked like real gold to most people, but she knew it was attached and forever would be.
Wandering away from the gates Vivi made her way further into the palace grounds. She was careful to avoid touching anyone for fear they would think the worst and suddenly see her appear before them. This was all about stealth and swiftness. 'This' being her self imposed mission to hold an audience with the local warriors. Because of her intent she needed to hide herself among the normal humans. Most people thought of shadow as evil, some hellish power that corrupts the minds of good people. She saw it no such way, but was not willing to risk revealing herself until she had had a chance to voice her purpose.
Moving swiftly through the crowds Vivica's cloak floated around her body as if it had been sewn together in the front. Only her sandal clad feet showed as she walked, though no one obviously noticed. She might as well have been alone in the world.
Coming to a divide in the paths she could choose she stopped her progress and looked for any sign that would point her towards the Barracks or soldier housing. She had almost turned a full circle when she felt a body ram into her back. Turning in one swift movement Vivica looked down at a boy no higher than her waist. Their eyes met, gold on blue, and for a moment the world seemed to slow. She watched as that little boy's mouth opened and a shrieking wail erupted from his throat.
