Appearance: Marin is dark-skinned from a combination of tan and dirt. She stands at around 5'4 and is stocky from muscle and fat in equal parts. Her dirty blonde hair is kept up and out of the way by whatever's convenient, headscarves, clips, pencils. Her features are pretty average, rounded out by chub in the cheek, one of them marked by a long scar from some accident. She can usually be found in old jeans, work boots and one of a collection of printed t-shirts. She can also be seen in boilersuits and overalls when the job is especially mucky.
Personality: Marin is rather tomboyish, as you might expect from someone who spends all day in a garage. She has something of a foul mouth, though she tries to restrain herself when not at work. She can be rather naive, and is not a long-range planner. Marin should not be disturbed in the morning until she has had at least three mugs of coffee, preferably with a bag of sugar in them.
Bio: Marin dropped out of highschool at 17 to work for a friend at his garage. Though she already knew basic car maintenance from keeping her old banger running, she quickly learnt some of the hard tricks involved in getting vehicles back on the road. At 21 she finally had enough income to move out of her parents house, and she has never looked back.
Marin is currently a mechanic for a different company, after a disagreement with her former employer over salary. Though she still enjoys her job, she hopes to be able to open her own business and is currently studying at night school to be able to do it.
