So I'm trying to refine my drawing skills so I can achieve some consistancy and make pictures that actually look like the people I'm trying to draw. So, my question is, does my gentleman look anything like the goofball standing next to him?

Yes, he does, although he should have glasses and a paler skintone to make recognition imeditate.

well... not realy in my opinion. sweatdrop i mean, i can see the resemblence, but your gentleman looks distinctly Hispanic, and well groomed. like a wealthy Mexican gent from Wild West era America.

Yeah, I don't have enough flesh colors in my marker collection. At least I got the time period right on the clothes, if not the region. ^_^*

Thank you very much! The original title of this was "Wolf in Gentleman's Clothing." ^_^
I drew this for my friend because he's was being all moody and "I'm not hansom" and "No body likes me." I know for a fact that a lot of girls like him--and I had the BIGGEST crush on him for a long time until he rejected me. I still think of him fondly. Anyway, I was trying to illustrate how I saw him. Sure he's a goofball, but deep down he's a gentleman.

heh. ^_^ well that makes plenty more sense! though i'll never understand how people can think nobody likes them, especially when there are people TELLING them that they like them! xp

Yeah, he was an oddball. No faith, not even in me, and I would have given him anything and everything! rolleyes
Oh well. No help for it now. I still try to let him know in my own way that he is very attractive, both intellectually and physically. I can't overdo it since I am lovingly shackled to another man. razz
