Please note :: I in fact, do not own any characters for they belong to the clan members. I do, however, own Shai, Zaki, Scirocco and Azra. Please also note that the story may or may not contain words that some would not like, and should may / try to refrain from reading. Thank you.

Please Also Note :: That, this thread/topic will be locked. If you indeed like to comment (which I would really love). Please feel free to do so within the chapter sections that are either finished or being worked on. I love to hear what others think about the story. Not to also mention that it takes time for myself to even come up with a story line for each character. I have to watch what you post within the clan (outside is a no) for the fact that this entire story is and will be about the clan members. We just had one leave (well actually three) I took one out, but I am a friend of one and well the other, I am hoping that he comes back. << >> . But the links that I have set up in this post will take you to where the chapters that are finished or being worked on. So.. I thank you for taking up some of your time with this post. << >>

Chapter One

Scirocco, a gentle kingdom where all villagers seem to live a normal and peaceful lives. Well it was peaceful until the elder of the kingdom started to take power for himself. The king, Zaki has fallen ill due to an unknown illness, and the elder, Shai thought that it was up to him to help the king; little did everyone know that Shai was slowly killing him. One always stated that power could corrupt ones mind, and for Shai, he wanted power and nothing more. Why would one with so much mystical energy want to take over the lands of Scirocco? Well lets all say that some would go to great lengths to do anything that they set their minds to it. Shai slowly hit the lowest level that any man could ever hit, and that was to gather all mystical energies that the villagers within the kingdom. So he made a plan, he gathered his own men; men that followed King Zaki and made them think that there were actually people out there who wanted to kill their king.

Oh Shai was indeed enjoying himself, as he stood in front of almost half of the villagers of Scirocco. Looking at those who held the power that he so wanted for himself. Within the crowd, stood a young woman with red hair that meet her lower back, brilliant green eyes looked up at the elder who was giving a speech. For a man who serves the king, Shai smiled a little to much when he stated that there were killers amongst them. The guards who were serving Shai were out within the woods, as the villagers were listening to the elder. Next to the young woman stood a man with a military style cut, every time Shai would state something, the man would make a grunt like noise. It was how the young woman would know what the man was indeed thinking. But Shai had summon forth those who held the power within them to help their king and protect their kingdom. With the speech over, everyone was slowly leaving to go home and ponder on what they were going to do and how they were going to gather enough force to help.

"I think that it is a load of bull Chrissy," the man stated, as he ran a hand through his short hair. Black shade covered his eyes, as he leaned against the door way. Chrissy could not help but to smile lightly as she was going through some paper work. "I mean, he has to be up to something."
"And who would that be Kajaro?" Chrissy could still not help herself as she looked at the man and smiled lightly. Even with the dark shade, Kajaro gave her an evil look that told her not to start anything; but Chrissy always knew that he seemed to joke around her.

"That Shai guy, he smiled a little to much when he was stated about these men trying to kill the king."

"I guess that you're right, but still we should hel-"

"No, something is not right and you know it as well as I do."

"Then, I guess that we should help King Zaki." Chrissy grinned lightly as Kajaro shook his head. "After all, it is our job."

"We are peasants, how can we even help?" Chrissy had to laugh at this, for he always seemed to state things that others seem to all ready know. "Don't laugh Chrissy, I am not in the mood."

"When are you ever in the mood Mr. Grouch?"

~~~
Several weeks have passed, as well as several villagers who have gone missing. Those whom held no power within themselves were in a state of panic. Both Chrissy and Kajaro were setting off to find others who were willing to be part of their clan. People who were similar to them, and who have a caring heart.
Else where, within the woods area, a small group was keeping an eye on both Chrissy and Kajaro, after all, they were told to be careful when they see a group of two or more; and that is what they were doing. By keeping an eye on the two, maybe they can actually save their king.
"I actually remembered when Scirocco was peaceful, no one was fighting and anything like this." Chrissy sighed lightly as she looked about. Kajaro mumbled a few words that made the woman laugh as they continued walking. "You know, you can speak more than just mumbles,"
Kajaro sported a glare towards Chrissy's way, as he stopped for a small drink. For some reason, it never failed for her to do little jokes here and there.
~~~
Coughing a little here and there, King Zaki coughed slightly; his semi long dark brown was plastered onto his milky white sweat covered forehead. Pale amethyst eyes looked about, Shai was nowhere to be seen, and he really wanted to go out and see how his kingdom was doing.

~~~
Where is his trusty priest? Matter of fact, where are most of his own guards, servants? With another cough, the weak king slowly stood up; he had to see to his kingdom. A rarity, in most cases one would think, but the king has to do something or else his own kingdom would fall apart.
Another cough raked through his body, as he slowly moved his milky white legs out of his own bed. With a raspy voice, King Zaki called out for his servants. Yet no one came forth, another cough and another harsh words came out. There was no way that he could even make it to the door for how weak he was. "They could at least given me a bell," he thought rather bitterly.
A young woman with long ruby colored hair and misty blue eyes ran through the woods. It wasn't every day that one could stretch out ones legs. But this, this was no ordinary run, no, this was more like a run for ones own life. Someone was after her for what she has seen, and she planed on finding someone or at least a group of someones to help her out. But in order to do so, she must find them rather quickly, her own life is on the line.
~~~

"For the last time, I have no clue on what you are even talking about." Stated a woman with what seemed to have white hair with black tips on the edges. Slate colored eyes glared at a group of three young women. One seemed to sigh lightly and roll her eyes as another seemed to keep one at bay. The one whom was being held at bay just seemed to yell words at the woman who she thought that she knew at least something.

"Maybe this was a bad idea V," with a slight laugh, the young woman ran a hand through her sandy brown hair, the one who was holding the other back could not help but to agree. "I mean, this woman must not know what we are talking about."

"Very true Cale," the one who was called V grinned slightly, her jet black hair was held up into an unusual style. "But try telling Ra that."

Both sighed heavily, as both the woman being held back and the woman in front of the three were having a stare down with each other. "You know, it never fails for her. She always seems to start fights every where we go." V started as Ra did another plunge for the woman. Both sighed heavily as the two were yelling at each other once more. Both shook their heads at the display that their own friend, it was as if every where they went, the one always started a fight. Be it at their own village or some where down the road, Ra seemed to be the magnet for fights.

~~~
sneer could be seen upon Shai's face, normally he was always found smiling, but today. No, today, Shai was beyond pissed; Zaki was out of bed, and refused to even go back into it, he was running low on poison, and would soon have his loyal servant to fetch some, and that wench. The wench with the ruby colored hair has gotten away from him, the woman found out that he was slowly killing their king and took off. He tried to get her within the castle, but some how she managed to escape, sending out some of the guards only to have them come back empty handed. With a heavy sigh, Shai quickly turned about. There was no way that he was going to let the woman get away from him, not when she knows so much.
"Oh come on Kajaro, we're almost there." Laughter filled the void of silence, as the two travelers slowly made their way, well make it one slow traveler, and and one hyper. They have just made it to the first pub, as yes, the two were walking non stop for nearly two and half weeks. Not a pub in sight, till now. Kajaro could not help but to smile lightly at his female companion. True, she would talk his ears off non stop, but he would always answer back. It may not be in full sentences, but he was never rude when it came to talking. Unless one would ask for a sensles beating. Chrissy laughed, as she was half way up the road from the man. "Hurry it up slow poke!" Kajaro could not help but to roll his eyes behind his shade. It never failed for the woman to crack jokes about or around him.
```
Within a small village, laughter could be heard, as a young woman was doing tricks for the younger children. Her long black hair swayed ever so gently in the wind that was created by her hands. Green eyes were half opened half closed, as the children and other members of the village would laugh and cheer by her actions. Making faces, story telling and many other artistic abilities always made the villagers laugh. But one always thought of her as that way. A joker,
but it always seemed as if by night, the woman would always slip out of the village. No one knew why, well except for the fact of the woman who escapes the village, and the one that she secretly sees. More cheering could be heard as the woman was now standing on one foot as she seemed to be juggling items that looked as if they were on fire. She never
did this for money, but most of the villagers would often give her something here and there. Why, she had no clue, they
knew that she was the villager's elder's only daughter, but they seemed to give her items even when she tries to tell them
no.

~~~
This had to be a weird situation of some sort because no villager ever returned home, well those who were different from the others. But not one villager seemed to know anything about it, sure, some villagers gave out stories, but the truth, they never even knew. Chrissy and Kajaro were sitting inside the pub having a drink before they head off again. Kajaro wanted to find a place to stay causing Chrissy to nod her head in agreement. It was almost dark out, and they needed to find a place fast., not every villager could be trusted.
As soon as darkness began to settle in, a young man stood within the shadows, never saying a word, never moving. It was as if he was almost afraid to even be spotted. Though his body never moved, his steel colored eyes kept a watch over both Chrissy and Kajaro. Waiting for the right moment to move.
~~~~
"I can not believe you Raxle," V sighed heavily as the three slowly turned a corner. "That woman was telling us the truth, and you just had to go up in her face."

"Well sorry Miss 'I gotta follow the rules and such'" Raxle made a face, as her hands were going about in the air. "But that woman was asking fo-"

"She wasn't asking for 'it' Ra," this time it was Cale who spoken. The shy timid young lass was the reason why the three got along so well. If it weren't for her, Ra would have left V to do her own job. "Yes, we steal from people and places, but the woman knew nothing about what we are seeking." Ra mumbled a few words as she crossed her arms. It was an odd little group that knew how to dodge some places and such. But there were times when they could not get away with anything and had to fight their way through. V sighed once more as she looked over at Cale, the young lass shrugged as she then looked at Ra whom was now infront of the two. "You know that I am right."

"No one is 'right' Zacale, no one."

V blinked a little as she shook her head. "Are you telling us that you are?" Raxle laughed lightly as she turned and faced her two friends.

"I never said that now did I Venomhawk?" Raxle had a smile that could make anyone back away. Her bitter tounge made those around her including family memebers and friends to shrink back. Not to mention that anyone whom she did not know messed with her family and friends, she tends to get a bit tempered and always seemed to fight back, Both Venomhawk and Zacale sighed heavily and shook their heads. Leave it to Raxle to make others feel slightly different. "Beside," the young woman started up again. "She was asking for it." Both of Raxle's companions moaned, which caused her to laugh as she turned and continued to walk infront of the two. Neither Cale or V wanted to say another word for the fact of Ra turning around and cussing them both out.

"I guess that we should find a place to rest for the night," Cale said rather quietly, as V looked up at the Easatern sky. "What do you think?"

Venomhawk sighed lightly, as she looked at Cale. "Indeed we should, but knowing Ra, she will be up all night if we stay outside and rest." Cale nodded her head in agreement, as the two were now looking at their one friend.

~~~
A week has passed, Shai had not yet found the woman whom knew about his plan. He could no longer stand and wait, King Zaki was already forced into bed by himself; the king asked way to many questions, thus, he had to make him fall asleep. If he was to rule the kingdom, he had to get rid of the king, but the woman out and wandering about was ruining his plans. With a heavy sigh, Shai slowly walked towards a window. Maybe some light reading could help out a bit.
Chapter Two
It wasn't as if the Kingdom was in trouble, well maybe it is. But most villagers never really understood why. Was their king afraid of something that his own priest wanted others to help fight this threat? Most of those who have started a clan, a little group that would help fight off this "evil" either came back injured or shocked to the point where they hardly said a word. Or the fact that none every came home. The birds or some sort of animal that they have sent off to give them messages always came back with the same message. Most of the villagers have already lost hope for their loved ones.
Chrissy made a face at her companion, indeed, Kajaro was still sleeping. Sure, his shades were on a counter top next to his bed, his left arm was over his eyes, keeping the sunlight from hitting them. He was like a log, never moving, well maybe not. One hardly thought that a log could even make any noise when it came to sleeping. Blowing her red bangs away from her eyes, the young woman was sitting crossed legged on the bed. Maybe if she continued to stare at the man, he would wake up.
~~~

The sun was slowly starting to hide behind gray clouds; villagers began to run about as raindrops started to descend. A cloaked figure slowly entered the village, never bothered to stop and speak, never watched where he was walking. He was on a mission, and nothing was going to stop him. Not even the rain could stop the man. Inside, Kajaro and Chrissy were downstairs within the pub that they were staying at. Never a morning person, Kajaro was staring ahead, as Chrissy was going on about the rain and what it will do. Of course, she was tuned in with nature, and she always seemed to be happy. Kajaro on the other hand, well he just wanted to go back to sleep.

A young man with platinum almost white hair and steel gray eyes was keeping his distance from the two. Why? Well one cannot trust those around them. Not when other villagers were disappearing from the face of the earth, and to him, well both Chrissy and Kajaro held an aura that was a bit stronger than those from his home.

~~~
Several months have passed, and nothing seemed to change within Scirocco, no news was given about their king, as both Chrissy and Kajaro were still on their quest to help the priest. The young man still kept an eye on the two. Things were never going to be the same, or that is what the people have thought. Laughter filled the priest's room, oh Shai was just starting to enjoy his day. More and more villagers were showing up, which meant more power that he was gaining. Soon, Shai will be strong enough to over throw King Zaki, that is if he does not die first.
~~~
A sadistic smile apeared on the man's face, as his own personal guards walked in. "Did you find her yet?"

"No, but we have every guard searching for her. She will not get far." Shai nodded his head, as waved them out of the room. How hard is it to find a mere woman? Scuffing, the man stood up and headed towards his potions. No matter, he has other plans that he must attened to.

~~~
"The light," Kajaro moaned, as his left hand was searching for the dark shades that he always seems to wear. Chrissy laughed lightly, as she grabbed his shade. "Close the blinds...please.." The woman could not help but to laugh once more, as she hopped onto the bed.
"Come on sleepy head, time to get up." She smiled lightly, as her friend rolled onto his side, facing away from the light. "Come on Mr. Grumpy Gills, we need to get moving." The man moaned again, as he pulled a pillow up to his face.
A small laugh escaped Chrissy as she slowly began to pull at the pillow. Maybe today would be a new day? Maybe something would actually happen, but then again, nothing could not.
~~~
A man with dark brown almost black hair, slowly walked slowly on a shallow path within a dense forest. Something was not right with the way Shai was acting. He was keeping a close eye on King Zaki just like his father before him, there was no way that the King was under attack. None was made, well none that he could see. The woman whom fleed the castle has yet been found, and he had no attention on finding her just yet. Not until he helped Zaki rid those who harm him. His percing blue eyes scanned the area around him. He needed to find a spot to start his own clan, and then, then he would find the people whom will help his clan florish. Oh yes, he had a feeling that something someone was going down, and he will be the one whom will do it.

As he continued on walking, the young man looked about. 'This should do,' he thought with a small smile. In the middle of the forest, was a large sized home. It was made to fit more than one hundred people, it belonged to his family. His father used it before him as well as his father's father. It was something that was built for the secret guards of the Kings, and the man was going to use it well. Ever since Zaki was crowned king after his father had passed, the man had created peace amongest the lands. Leaving no room for the secret guards to act. Thus, every man had left. creating their own families. Now, now it seemed as if another great evil had surfaced, a man whom everyone thought that could be trusted. Shai was nothing more but a beast in disguise. Wanting nothing but power. A heavy sigh escaped his lips, as he slowly entered the old home. It seemed as if he could try to clean the place up a bit.

It was going to take him a while, but he was sure that he could get it done in time before he went off his way to find those whom could help.
