So I know that DCI has just taken off, but who do you all think will win?
Which shows do you all like so far and who needs improvements?
Do you have any friends marching corps this year?

I want Cadets to win. Crown in my opinion shouldn't be in first.

Oh my goodness.
A few nights ago there was a Drum Corps comp and/or exposition in town and I went. (This is Southern California I'm talking about)
Of the ones listed on your poll we saw Vanguard, Blue Coats, and Blue Devils. We also saw The Academy, Blue Devils B, Mandorins, and Pacific Crest.
Vanguard was alright. The Blue Coats closed and their show was pretty awesome, I loved the opener with the guy and the bowler hat and umbrella.
But the Blue Devils stole the crowd's heart with "1930". Oh my god the group I was sitting with (a huge chunk of our band) were in total awe. When they first walked out carrying chairs everyone was like WTF. We joked that they'd play sitting down, which they kinda did. Probably the most creative use of props I've ever seen.
I was sad that the Cavaliers are in Illinois because I really wanted to see them.

Crown has started off really well. Their show is sickkk. They're my pick this year.

Its the Vanguard year.
It just is.
'89 = championship
'99 = championship
'09 = MUST BE CHAMPIONSHIP
but...BD is owning...I've seen their show a few times as well as SVCs but it just is SCV's year.

I have yet to go see any shows live this year, only some youtube. But I am going to NightBEAT and maybe Atlanta?

I do agree that Spartacus was epic. xd I was a freshman last year, and when my friend and I saw it, our reaction was probably "=O" in awe. xd
I'm probably going to the show in Allentown this year, same one I went to last year. Our band has sort of an annual trip up there for anyone who wants to go.

Oooh, I get to go to a DCI show this coming Sunday.
Cavaliers, Bluecoats, Cadets, Madison Scouts, and some others I don't know will be there.
I have no idea what to expect this year. xD I haven't gotten to the superfan point yet, so I dunno.
I do know Crown well enough to wish that they'd be there, though.

Spartacus and Faust were my favs tho i cry every time I hear amazing grace and fire of eternal glory. This years scoring is all over the boards.

SCV and Phantom Regiment are in town for a regional here in Houston and they both used our field. It was way exciting. Not sure who will win though it all comes down to the final run. Can't wait until the 6th to see Quarterfinals in theaters.
