Welcome to the Guildverse Discussion Forum. Created to house discussion regarding the Wizarding World of Gaia's main roleplaying universe, the Guildverse Discussion offers roleplayers a place to discuss aspects of the world in which their characters live, provide backstories and extensive profiles regarding characters and locations, and determine guild canon.
For additional guidelines, please read the following posts BEFORE making a thread!
• Discussions • Character Profiles • Extended Explanations • Storyline Summaries

Discussions
Discussions are topics inviting other posters to join in a conversation about a particular topic; in this case, a conversation about an aspect of the Wizarding World. Such topics should be about the actual universe, as opposed to roleplaying (like fonts, questing for avatar items, etc) or OOC-related subjects - for example, about Hogwarts fads rather than the clothes chosen for Gaia avatars, or about popular restaurants as opposed to how one goes about requesting a new restaurant thread.
These types of threads must conform to the following guidelines: • Threads must be related to aspects of the storyline/universe. • You should have a correlating title that appropriately represents the thread's contents. • The first post should contain discussable content; posts containing little substance may be moved. • You are expected to allow the voicing of multiple/opposing opinions.

Profiles
Profiles are threads containing additional information regarding a specific character, family, location, or another facet of the guild universe. They often offer pictures, trivia, backstories, and discussion regarding their topic to better represent it to fellow guild members. For example, if a guild member feels their character is too complicated to be summed up in their about section, it is perfectly acceptable to make a thread devoted to providing additional information, and to discuss said character with curious roleplayers who become interested.
These types of threads must conform to the following guidelines: • Your introduction should fully express your intentions. • Your information should be accurate and kept up-to-date. • Your posts should be organized and easy to read. • Pictures/diagrams/etc are encouraged. • Spruce up your posts! Profiles should represent their topic.

Extended Explanations
Extended Explanations are threads offering broader backstories/justifications for a character or event in the roleplaying universe, or summaries of events not expressed. For example, a lengthy commentary on why a particular character acted in a certain way; or a rundown of the unroleplayed history between two characters.
These types of threads must conform to the following guidelines: • Threads must be related to aspects of the storyline/universe. • You should have a correlating title that appropriately represents the thread's contents. • The first post should contain discussable content; posts containing little substance may be moved. • Your information should be accurate and kept up-to-date. • Pictures/diagrams/etc are encouraged.
