Bats and owls are my favorite. I've always been adicted to bats for some odd reason. and I like flying animals cus they have so many freedoms. Owls also make the coolest sounds. I took care of a few when I worked at the zoo.

Bats are, by far, my favorite. Actually, they're my favorite animals altogether. In fact, among the many careers I'm considering when I go into college next fall (if i can ever pick just one career neutral ) is, what I call although i don't know if there's a real name for it, a chiropterologist. You know, like ornithologists study birds? Well "chiroptera" is the family name for bats. Hence, chiropterologist. I have this massive poster of bats on my bedroom wall, as well as a bat ID guidebook 4laugh

I must admit I harbor a certian weakness for raccoons. They're so cute with their bandit masks. My dad always gets made cuz they get into our garbage, though. xp

I'm currently in Michigan where I am finishing up my Master's. I'll be done this April, but my professor is always looking for undergraduates and graduates to work on his bat projects. If you give me a list of areas you're considering, I can get you a list of schools and professors.

DarknessxFire The Eye-eye! eek they look like koala's except with little bodies, big heads and eyeballs the size of a child's fist! They are so cute! I think it's spelled aye-aye. ^-^ I love them as well. You forgot to mention their freaky fingers, which are extremely long in order to reach grubs in trees. Their fingers always look so fragile.
Overall, though, I'd have to agree with those people who said bats. I love 'em. I always have. In fact, there's a bat that lives in the rafters above my room. ninja He/she got into my room once on accident. It was quite a surprizing way to wake up, and I was just glad the little thing didn't hurt itself. I hear it from time to time squeaking above my cieling. It gets a little frustrating when it's keeping me up, but I like the thought of it being up there.
