<MAIN THREAD>
Lying shut upon a table is a rather curious book - the deep violet cover shining with a silvery inlay of a feather. The fine, shining cover is only marred by a couple of slash marks, as if one with claws had tried to lift it.
Opening up the fine pages of thin, glistening parchment, one might find the initial few pages torn out. Curious...but perhaps who had bestowed this hand-me-down diary indeed has her reasons.
Beside the book sat a pair of scissors, a piece of ribbon tied to the handle and wound down about the blades....

Time has passed, and your Herald is becoming fond of you and beginning to show affection. You two have grown closer, but that''s not the only aspect of growing.
The Herald is maturing into a young child before your eyes. No longer dying and weak and no longer sexless, it now has beautiful angel white hair and dark blue eyes of unusual depth. You may have noticed before that the Herald was scratching and touching its back for a while, and now it''s finally explained. The herald''s wings have started to grow in.
How do you deal with the child''s discomfort? Do you have any remedies to ease it? How does he/she react? How do the wings reflect the item given?

Bios
Lady Vincira
Little is known about the Lady, to be sure. She is a petite, pale young thing...often hobbling about on a sleek black cane. Long, raven hair tumbles downward over her black-and-violet-clad back, ending a few inches below the base of tattered black wings; with her movements, often, a black feather or two comes loose from beneath the unravelling, bloody bandages, falling downward to rest by a black tailtip and black boots.
She usually appears, at the very least, placid...but the scar over her right eye and troubled crimson gaze might hint at something more troubling behind those glasses and unassuming smile....
Guinevere
Guinevere is still new to things. She's rather quiet - the type who prefers listening to speaking. She looks like most little Heralds do - white hair, blue eyes, and a pretty face...but those eyes carry deep thought, and that face is usually half hidden by a hand or an obstacle of some kind.
The most notable feature on her is her growing wings - painful blades piercing outward through the skin. Is this why she's so quiet? And why doesn't she seem angry about it?
Aaron
Aaron is the one who is truly RAISING Guinevere - for rather dubious reasons, no less. Still, he doesn't seem to mind; in fact, he's rather happy about this chance, however sad the circumstances might be.
He only looks like a young man, himself, but with one big stipulation - he looks like a young man fresh out of a drawer in the morgue. His skin is death-pale, his lips and eyes tinged with the blue of one who has passed on...and though his gaze is a striking cerulean, it carries a strange sadness under the mop of jet black hair.
So who is this boy? Why is his touch colder than ice...and why does he carry a scythe?

Guinevere's Things The scissors sacrificed in an effort to save Guinevere's life. It isn't clear what significance they have, but the bloodstains on the blades hint at a darker use in Vincira's past....

Close Family/Friends
Jonathan Crane: A bit on the eerie side, Crane is a very good friend (and co-worker) of Vincira's. Often, when Vincira is ill, it's Crane who watches the children.
He's a very tall and thin fellow, with wild light brown hair and glasses. As a general rule, while he's creepy, he's amiable enough. Just don't get him angry....
Norman Osborn: Norman is Vincira's boss, and her usual doctor. He isn't seen too often, but he comes around once in a while. He's of a fair height, and has a fairly muscular build.
He can be a bit secretive, but he does have his reasons.....

Vincira's House
Somewhere remote is the home of Vincira - a somewhat eerie, rather huge old house, which would look entirely forbidding...were it not for the vibrant rose garden outside. A guest house stands a ways off to the side, fairly big in itself - and always occupied by someone or other.
Through that door, if you were to peek inside, the one thing you might glimpse is your own reflection in the dim light...reflected off a massive amount of mirrors. How curious....
