As the pony was pinning her ears and showing all the signs that she was once again going to attempt to unload me, I was thinking, the ears are my favourite part of the horse. Sure faces can be down right cute and it's hard to beat a well defined neck but the ears are so expressive and it's just heartwarming to see her little pony ears peeking over her bucket when she dives in (until the pony when she realizes I'm holding a saddle and bridle.)
So what's ya'll's favourite part?

Oh I agree that ears are down-right adorable. ^^ Honestly though, I don't like all horses' ears. (Personally, I like my horse's ears the best. They're a lot bigger than they're supposed to be.) I guess I'm picky about it.
My favorite part is definitely the eyes of a horse. Not the actual eyeball, not because of the colors, or the pupils. But just because they're so expressive. You can see if they're happy, sad, angry, scared. What I've noticed about Ruby's eyes is that she tends to "raise her eyebrows" with them. You know how you raise your eyebrows and your eyes kind of pop? She seems to do that when she's thinking about something. (Not that horses have eyebrows.) I don't know if it makes a lot of sense, haha. ^^ But yeah, the eyes definitey.

Little pony 'teddy-bear' ears, that disappear into their forelock when they pin them back haha.
I like muzzles. I like playing with their nostrils lol.

Can I just say the whole head? The combination of the ears, eyes, and muzzle that allow them to speak so clearly without words. I love the way, when you hit the itchy spot just right with the curry, their lips start to twitch. It always makes me giggle a little bit, especially when it's a horse that I know isn't very demonstrative about their affection (Corky, Monterae... I seem to attract these horses...)
I also love a horse with a nice butt though... what can I say? biggrin
