The Carnival As you push your way out the red-and-white-striped ticket tent flap, you are surrounded by squeals of laughter, shouts, concessionaires selling their goods, the scents of every single junk food present, and an unwelcomed trace of animals. You see carnies of every color, clowns, and jugglers; you see rickety, creaky, and greasy rides that make you wonder if all the bolts are in place; you see grimy, colorful food stands, a fortune teller... and booth upon booth upon booth of rigged games. The carnival has rolled into town.RULES:
1.) Shop rules apply. (duh) All RP rules apply.
2.) No god-moding (duh)... and there are to be NO freak accidents unless the staff agrees and wills it to happen.
3.) If you abuse the use of the carnies, you will lose your privileges of using them in your RP.
4.) THIS IS ILLUMENS ONLY. NO HUMAN INTERACTION.
5.) All food, game, and fortune prices are fake. No gaia gold will be used in the RP.
6.) More information or rules will be added as we see fit.
NPCs and PCs (carnies!)
Non-playable will be played by staff. Playable may be played by anyone- but do not abuse the carnies, do not abuse the use of RPing the carnies, and carnies NEVER make any moves to hurt or harm illumens.
Non-playable:
Madame Cera, the fortune teller. (No fortunes/futures of death or the like). Her English isn't perfect, but you can still easily understand her. She has only one good eye... the other she uses for "seeing." She uses a crystal ball only for show, as she does not need one to see. She does, however, use cards. As she is the owner of the carnival, she is not available constantly for seeing. If she is particularly curious or drawn to a person, she may not charge for a telling.
Playable:
Carnies running games. (Need to know some games? Try here. Just ignore/avoid the weird, non-sense-making ones).
Carnies running food stands. (Corn dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, sodas, whatever).
Carnies walking around. (Jugglers, mimes, clowns... just be reasonable).
PM Fae (or the mule even?) with any questions or ideas for additions/improvement.

Ethan and Asher walked in with Aria, the only ones of their adopted family that had been curious enough to check out the carnival. They peered warily about, not sure what to try first. Asher wanted to try his paws at a game, Ethan wanted to eat, and Aria was curious if the rides were safe enough to actually ride. Seeing only a few scattered Illumen and random carnies, they didn't want to split up just yet. They stood right inside the entrance, bickering over what to do first, waiting for more people to come.

Takashi pulls Kyuu every now and again to make sure that he was following him to the Carnival.
"Come on, Dad! I don't wanna miss the funnel cakes!" This time he bounds off farther infront of Kyuutou and Soya.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" He laughs as his son moves farther infront of everyone, but he was also excited to go as he wanted to ride some of the roller coasters that were there. Kyuu smiles excitedly with his running after his son.
The only thing that was on her mind were all the food that would be there. She only heard a little bit about it, but her imagimation went wild about all the things that would be there.
"Wait for me!" Soya ran after them drooling slightly.
Lucky for them Tween had saved a lot of money, so she had given them money to go to the carnival. Though she couldn't go herself, cause she had other things to do that day. The family stops at the entrance to find other Illumen there as well.

Amidst the babble of a half-hearted argument of what to do first, Ethan spotted Soya coming up and called out to his sister, waving her over excitedly. "Soya!" he called out, "there's food!!!!"
Asher rolled his eyes, eying a ring toss nearby,while Aria tapped her foot, wanting to go on a spinny ride she could see.

She sees Ethan as he says that there's really food in the carnival. She skids to a stop in front of her brother. Soya pumps one of her paws into the air with a huge smile on her face.
"Awesome! What should we eat first?" She puts her front paws together with sparkly eyes at all the things that were there.
Takashi wanted to follow Soya around and eat some of the carnival food, but he didn't want to leave his dad alone. He felt kind of torn apart about it. Takashi looks up to Kyuutou with a sad face not knowing what to do about.
Kyuutou smiles at the group and then stares wide eyed at the roller coaster that looked so cool. Though for some reason there was a feeling tugging at his heart that wasn't very good...

Ethan glances around before replying, "Whatever we first see? That's food, of course..."
Aria smiles at Kyuu, "A new father yet you still eye rickety rides?" and laughs slightly.
Immediately noticing Takashi's look, Asher asked him, "Are you alright, little one?"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Soya waved her front paws in the excitedly.
Kyuu laughs a little.
"I guess I can't help it. I'm just so use to danger." A grin rose on his face.
Takashi quickly looks up to Asher and blushes a little as he was embarassed that he noticed his internal tormoil. He puts his head down and shakes his head quickly to answer his question.

Chloe walks towards the new carnival, seeing balloons floating off into the air.
Gabriel tries to hurry his mommy up "come on mom we are gonna miss the rides!"
"No he wont darling, there is pleanty of time, and i have pleanty of money just for this place, so you are going to have a great time no matter what time we get there."
Gabriel smiled. "first we are gonna go on the rides, then we are gonna eat, then ..." He stopped as he seen the gate and awed at how big and fun this was going to be, he was so happy his mommy was taking him that he jumped up and kissed her cheek. "I love you mommy! Thank you!." He smiled one ear to the next as they reached the gate.
"We should ride the fast rides first hun, I don't want you to eat and then get sick, okay?"
"okay mommy" He smiled.

Asher grinned at the little tyke. "Not such a great liar, huh?"
"Alright!" Ethan said happily. As he looked around at the little cluster of illumens he asked, "Anyone else coming with?"
Confusion spread across Aria's face. "Danger? What danger is around here?" She looked over at Takashi. "He doesn't seem dangerous..."

Takashi looks up at Asher with a slight miffed face. "I have never been a great liar, mister." His face softens a little remembering his first problem and Asher side-tracking him.
"Of course, my son is not dangerous. My friend that my family stay with is a trained fighter and she trained me ever since I was a kit." Kyuu nods at a view points. His ears perked at Ethan's question.
"I'm going on the rides."
She looks towards Takashi excited in hopes that she could take her buddy with her to some of food with them. But instead she saw a look of sadness and began wondering what was wrong.

Asher smiled warmly at the kit before he noticed the look of worry on Soya's face and looked at her questioningly, wondering what she would say to Takashi and if she would say anything.
Aria nodded at Kyuu's words before shaking her head to Ethan. "I don't really want food right now. Kyuu, would you mind if I rode rides with you? I don't want to be dragging behind them when they eat.

"I don't mind at all if you join me." Kyuu laughs and then looks over to his son who was with Asher.
"Taka, why don't you go with Soya? Your not old enough to go on the rides."
Takashi's head shoots up at his dad with a mega watt smile on his face.
"Alright, dad!" He jumps up and down excitedly, but before he ran over to Soya.
"Mister, wanna come with us?" Takashi smiles.
Soya's eyes lit up to see her nephew's face.
"Awesome! To the food!" She points inside the Carnival.

Nodding, Aria replied, "Alright. What to first then?"
Asher pondered momentarily at the kit's offer, noting how he was polite enough to ask. "Why, yes, I do believe I shall, if Miss Soya and Ethan are both okay with it."
Ethan eagerly bounced back and forth on his feet, wanting to get to the food, not really caring who went with as long as they'd let him eat.

Kyuu looks around and found one ride that looks interesting.
"How about that one over there?" He points to the ride that had two tunnels and multiple loops called, The Gut Buster.
"She won't mind. Come on!" He grin grows wider in happiness that he had make another friend. He runs after her.
Soya follows her brother inside the carnival in search of the mythical food that lies in wait.

Asher smiled as teh kit ran off to Soya and walked quickly to catch up, knowing Ethan would be taking as long of strides as he could to get to food.
Ethan glanced around, trying to spot the nearest food tent. "Hey! There's those fried dough things... funnel cakes, I think they're called, over there... and then there's corndogs that way!" He points to each respectively; they are standing almost exactly inbetween the two stands which are on opposite sides of them. "Which first? Which first?!
Observing the track he pointed to, Aria nodded. "Sure, looks good. I hope you haven't eaten recently!" she says playfully as she begins to trot over to the ride. "And there's no lines yet! C'mon!" She had no clue when the last time she had even heard of any amusement rides around town, so she was very excited to try them all out.
