yes you've heard it correctly i'm developing my first independent study into the arts of rp and my first project shall be my greatest... Bleach
well its not that far into developement, i'm still working with a couple of my regulars to develope the actual game mechanics, but i like the way it's going.
some problems to consider are... Enemies: they're either WAY too strong or WAY to weak and i think one of my later features is part of this there's too much Damage: how in the world can i otherwise account for cool shikai powers, stats built using increased spirit pressure, and of course... the bankai. i've had characters easilly doing 200 damage a turn, and much more than that with the full power of bankai at their disposal, and when i stack all the various multipliers that they get characters can dish out unimaginable amounts of damage. problem is, though it makes battle MUCH quicker, it's almost impossible to make enemies for a three man captain level character party. there's not enough data one of the key forms is called Kido, for thouse who don't already know this little fact. well the problem is... over the course of watching 225 episodes i can only gather about 30 kidos and there's another problem... it seems kido is focused into two groups, damage and restraint. so i have to come up with 99 forms for both. there's not enough data unfortunately there's not enough data about the complete forms of the enemies to compile a good enough list and stats for them... there's also not a complete list of seated officer soul reapers, and there's far from a good list of bankai powers for those captains there's not enough growth i still havent figured out a successful way of designing a bankai or even a shikai. so far i've gotten a list of about 50 weapons that seem plausible for bankai, and i've gotten a list of about 50 forms of shikai... and as for bankai, i've seperated it down to: size, kido or direct attack, and relative strenghts and weaknesses... but this is still not enough, players keep asking me about more options, things that otherwise would sound cool, but things i hadn't thought of originally.... and unfortunately i think the system is therefore flawed. it's hard to understand there's no easy way to allow a character to ascend in level as a soul reaper. the biggest problem is that i have to create a way that they can grow and find their limits as a soul reaper (that ceiling that Aizen always is so fond of) the biggest problem is that either i make mastering all four forms impossible, or WAY too easy. i've almost solved this problem, but the worst part is that i've had to resort to making most of the soul reaper's essential skills feats, that way characters pick and choose not a problem, but it's really strange i've found that the best method for playing this set is to make it a system based not on lvls 1-20 but on levels 1-30. this might be a problem in the future, the biggest question is if i should limit the number of attacks down to 3 instead of 4 or even down to just 2, or maybe just have the limit placed on shikai and bankai attacks.
that's all i can think of off the top of my head, if you can come up with something or you have ideas, let me know, i'll share what i have and you can interpret and improve

well one possibility is basing some of your monsters off of the creatures in the actual D&D monster manuals and possibly try making new monsters that are well balanced, i have made a few monsters and i have a friend that has made the soul reaper class and balanced it out. i have also myself made a shinobi ninja class from naruto and i have made other such classes like the alchemist from full metal alchemist. and the mord sith from the book series "Sword of Truth" by terry goodkind i have hosted a few games of my own and most were a success except evil campaigns because i make the good characters in that game too powerful XD and because my little brother was playing and it was fun to piss him off muahahahahah but anyways i have extensive experience in building amazing characters at low levels i make heavy hitters witty thieves or wise mages or cocky mages XD my expertise is long ranged fighters that can deal heavy damage both close and long range. i make perfect filler characters that can both roleplay and attack. oh and i also have all the proof i need to make any character i have and i have my own personal consultant about all of my characters to double check my work.
so if you need help with anything dont hesitate to ask even if im not accepted i would still love to be a consultant.
