Ahoy! I know this message has been a long time in the making, but I hope to answer as many questions about past, present, and future with it as I can. Our guild started as a little seed, bourne gently on the promising winds of the future it was carried in the hearts of two little characters caught in the breeze from the gate of alker to port. Having joined the first minute of the first day of Open Beta these two characters rushed stalwartly towards alker harbor, tore through squirells with axes (somehow more powerful than leopards) and after much hunting finally reached lvl 15. Pooling together their funds they dashed to Elenshar, scrapped together the meager 10k that was their fortune entire, and planted the little seed that had begun in their mind and hearts: Genesis.
From here we trained and skirted across the continent, cementing friendships with guild seals, with the most loyal members breaking the ground from which the seed was planted and reaching towards the sky in hopeful green buds. In time these buds grew to boughs, we reached for the sky, and our roots reached deep. We warred, we worked together in parties in Ruins of Draconian to help newbies to the game, we made friends, and we just had fun. XD there were bumps along the way but while some people got worried I was never the least bit concerned, I knew that a couple days hence we would have grown far further despite whatever we incurred because we were a team. We werent just a random conglomeration of people, high level players standing as trophies, or poor people who thought they were just joining a training party; we all got to know one another and we grew from it.
But! long story short, life claims its own and I found a summer job. They're giving me more hours than any of the other employees hired that I know, seriously working me to the bone right now and this will consume my days for at least another two months. I cannot continue to lead the effort but I will stay informed, and wish you luck with whatever you choose to do. The guild will not go without leadership, and I have full confidence in the leadership that follows after me. I cant really speak for it without over-extending my hand, so I've covered the past well enough but the future is yours and the future is good! its the only reason the present is worth anything. But!
