While watching the news, there was a story that the government in the state of Kansas is going to charge overweight people for ambulance services. The heavier you are, the more you pay. Kansas government states that the fee is to pay for extra crews and larger equipment that is needed for transport. I think that this is utter bullshit. Many (unintentional) obese people in America are lower middle class, and cannot afford these ridiculous fees. If one who gets ambulance services weighs 350 lbs, then they have to pay $1200! I think is discrimination against the obese and should be vetoed.

Sadly this is how I see things playing out everywhere soon. Charging people for being fat.
Everyone is so against obesity/fat people, so they're gonna discriminate as much as they can against them.
Hopefully it'll die out in the future, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. sweatdrop

Hopefully it'll die out in the future, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. sweatdrop Yeah, they're even charging extra on some airlines if a passenger is obese. Some go as far as charging for two seats!

Well that I kinda understand. I mean, if you're so big you're pouring over the arm rests, then you should just have two seats. It's kinda rude to be that big and then force someone smaller to have to sit next to you and deal with you bumpin into them xP
Of course, I'm the type that doesn't see the point in flying anywhere if you're that big XD
It'd be better to just drive.

God I hope I never have to take an Ambulance, it would cost us like $3,000 for them to take me @_@

well no one ever thinks if we were all skinny and the magazines had fat ppl on them that they would probably try being fat instead of skinny :3
