My hampster hated me so i gave him to my friend (snicker) She got out of her cage and chewed a hole through my bed room floor and through a few inches of cement...( we had to get a live trap to catch her) so now it is my friends problem.

We used to have a couple of dwarf hamsters. They were both supposed to be the same sex, but they weren't, so we ended up with several more. They were so cute. whee

We've had three hamsters. Two of them were okay, but one was insane. She ran on the hamster wheel all day. Not a gentle jog; I mean full-throttle, the-wheel's-going-to-fall-off-in-a-few-seconds running. All day. When she grew older, she started attacking the other hamster that was with her (and we had bought them together), so they had to be separated. After that, she chewed through the cage and/or hamster tubing she was in, several times. Eventually, she somehow broke out of her glass cage into our basement, and we never saw her again. I say that a lot of these problems come from inbreeding or overbreeding.
