Hiya, I'm having a trip upstate with my parents (checking out a new house) and it's a bit more than 3 hours. Just to let you know, I haven't been keeping up with DS games for a LONG time. Any games that came out this past like.... year and a half. So got any suggestions for good games? and thanks for any suggestions.
Edit: It's this friday and I should be leaving by 5-7 p.m.

Anything Castlevania (I liked Dawn of Sorrows best)
Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Mario Kart DS
Megaman Zero ZX/ZX Advent
Trauma Center
Elite Beat Agents
Phoenix Wright

Animal Crossing
Wario Master of Disguise

Mertoid Prime Hunters Anything Castlevania (I liked Dawn of Sorrows best) Zelda Phantom Hourglass Mario Kart DS Megaman Zero ZX/ZX Advent Trauma Center Elite Beat Agents Phoenix Wright Pokemon Animal Crossing Wario Master of Disguise Wow I missed out sweatdrop ... I'll give Dawn of Sorrows a shot, but is it the first one, and if it's not does it relate to the other games? I really hate playing a game when its halfway into the series, I always play the games before it haha. Also I have to get Phoenix Wright, never played it.

It was my first Castlevania and I had no trouble with the story.

If I remember correctly each Castlevania iteration on the DS is pretty independent story-wise.
There's yet to be a sequel that kept the same protagonist.

Phantom hourglass is a must, and if you can swallow you man pride Cookin' Mama is oddly addicting.

Fire Emblem games are always great. Phantom Hourglass is a good one as well.
I had quite a lot of fun with Rhythm Heaven this summer on my road trip vacation. If you like rhythm games, you should try it out.
