Summer was a good time to play outside, especially when you were small enough that most leaves were good shade for you. Even dragon princesses and fairy-type children needed time outside, figured Richter, no matter how weird it was to be seen with the two girls - Eiji was off playing quietly with her cousin, and London...
Well, you really had to keep an eye on children that were less than a foot tall, so he had followed her over to the sandbox, where she was engrossed in playing hide-and-seek. There were a few other children there, but he didn't even have to step inside the play area to keep the game going.
"London, you're under the bucket," he said, a bit frustrated with the childish game.
With a disappointed sound, she wiggled out from under the plastic bucket and started to flit off to a new hiding place. It was hard to keep that up, though, since she ran directly into a much larger child and ricocheted off.
"Ow!" She landed on the sand and slid a little bit, then looked up to see who she'd run into.

((I'm being naughty and not switching accounts, FYI))
William loved the park, it was like his very own private buffet. And Stella loved whatever made William happy, so they often found themselves amidst the trees. She would sit on the park bench, reading or stitching or sketching, and William would amble along, sampling the leaves and smiling to himself. It was really a win win, because the weather was lovely and free food is free food.
William was munching a particularly delicious sycamore leaf, when he felt a tiny bump to his midsection and heard an even tinier "Ow." He pulled his head from the leaves and followed the sound to the ground. He bent his long neck after the creature and peered down at her. "You ok?" he asked quietly.

[Oh well! ;D]
She looked up. What she had thought was a tree was actually a... a... person? London thought it was a person, but it also kind of looked like a giraffe. His face was really close to her... Was he going to eat her? Oh no, she didn't want to be eaten!...
"Okay," she said, standing up and folding her hands in front of her. He'd asked if she was okay, maybe he was nice! Nice like her dad. Everyone was big enough to squish her or eat her. But maybe he was nice? "Please no eat!" London looked around. Where was Daddy? She felt very small just then.
