Birthday?! Tartara actually remembered pae's BIRTHDAYS?! Then again, it was Dayht. The happy go lucky pae had been bouncing around for weeks chirping about her upcoming birthday. Two days afterwards, her mother remembered about it. And now she had to get something for the ever cheerful wonder-gal. And her moody twin sister. Erylia walked aimlessly about on the shores of headquarters, figuring she might be able to make a shell necklace for Dayht. So she wouldn't have to spend anything on her own behalf. Niday was the real problem. Dayht would love ANYTHING. Niday however...wait, why did she even care? Oh right. Tartara had confiscated her treasure room key. She sighed, tossing another white seashell into her basket of similarly colored shells. The one good thing about this? She hadn't seen Criofan in days. The longer she went without seeing him, the better chance she had of fixing her problem before it burst. Again.

Criofan was actually in a rather good mood. It was warm and most people were outright lazy because of the heat, which admittedly made his job easier because most were less inclined to go find him if they noticed anything amiss. Thus, Criofan had ended up with quite a collection the past few days. He had a few golden bracelets on one arm, an antique analog watch on the other, a golden chain around his neck for a necklace, and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. It was fun to look at all the stuff he had snatched... mostly with the use of his sister's bag in the case of today, admittedly.
He strolled along the beach, humming a tune to himself with his eyes closed as he absorbed the sun which caused his golden skin to shimmer and sparkle in the light, similar to the shiny objects he was wearing. Nothing could break his good mood at this point, not even little things that were bothering him in the back of his mind, like the case of a certain demon or two and Okeanos' persistently annoying nature. There had to be some way to get that naiad to bugger off... nevertheless, Criofan wasn't too focused on his problems at the moment. The warm beach, a happy tune like the one he was humming, and all of the shinies on his person was all he needed to remain in his happy place for now.

"Seashells, seashells. Come a-long with me...Tan, white and orange, what a sight to see..." She randomly made up the lyrics of course as she went, just like with her 'moonlight lover' during the halloween bash. Singing made the fact that she was alone less in her face, and helped pass the time. "If by chance I step on one, as if by a poison dart. I hope that my journey will be resumed by my sweetheart..." Wait, what WAS that? She slowly stood up with another tan seashell in hand, eyes focusing on what seemed to be a glowing ball of light in the midday sun just down the shore a little ways. She squinted, trying to make out what it was. After a few more seconds, the form shifted in a way to reveal itself. "Oh...gaurdians. Not again." She should have known the light was the glint of precious shiny objects. The female quickly put the basket down on the ground, and quickly walked towards the sea. Walking only far enough until she was able to dive in.

Eyes closed, Criofan was actually relatively unaware of his surroundings. The little faun boy Texas took care of seemed to be on to something with staying tuned in with the sounds of the world and not always the sights; he had to admit the sounds of the ocean crashing against the shore was only helping his good mood. That mood was interrupted, though, when he felt a breeze of air rush by him in the direction of the water. What was that? He peeked an eye open, only to find a purple, green, and blond blur head towards the ocean.
...Erylia. Well, there went his good mood. Maybe he should just ignore her. Trying to be friendly towards someone who admitted they were in love with him was more awkward than he expected, and he really didn't want to deal with it right now. Instead of watching her, he distracted himself with the sights in the sky and the waters, looking at everything but the form that had dived into the salty water..

There went her good mood. Well, her enjoyable mood anyway. she slipped almost soundlessly into the water, and there, she crossed her legs and anchored herself down with some seaweed. Had he seen her? Why was it no matter where she went, he was there in some form or fashion? It wasn't like he planned it, she knew that. The male avoided awkward situations like the plague. Weren't really fun for him. Had nothing to gain. One thing was clear however. She'd sooner drown in the salty waters then pop up too early and get into another awkward encounter with Criofan.

Did that cloud look like a shamrock? Perhaps it looked more like a heart. No, no, it was definitely a shamrock, because it looked like three hearts attached to each other. Criofan kept his eyes on the sky, pondering the shapes of the clouds and ignoring the situation that he could have been confronted with entirely. Erylia had run into the water, and therefore he could pretend she no longer was on the beach and he could go back to enjoying himself, right?
Nervously, Criofan glanced from one side to the other before closing his eyes again and returning to whistling his happy tune. He didn't see anything. There was definitely no Erylia there, and there was definitely no way that he was going to get into any strange and awkward conversations with the blond demonic.

huh...so apparently ones lungs began to burn when deprived of oxygen for too long. This wasn't going to work out so hot after all. Quickly detaching herself from the seaweed, the female kicked against the bottom to send herself to the side, trying now to swim as far away as criofan as she could before having to rise for air. The male wasn't the only one to avoid awkward situations like the plague. Stood nothing to gain.

As it turned out, Criofan liked to avoid emotional situations period. Manipulating other people's emotions could be fun if it got him the shiny he was looking for that day, but otherwise, emotional situations, especially awkward ones like he and Erylia had, bothered him immensely. Thankfully, though, it seemed that Erylia had gone away as quickly as she appeared. Perhaps it was just a figment of his imagination.
Criofan sat down in the warm sand and kept humming to himself, quite happy to stay in his little, content, shining golden bubble of riches and joy and ignore the rest of the world and its' problems. He had succeeded in getting what he wanted that day, so nothing could kill his mood.

She started to feel dizzy and lightheaded, so decided it was high time for her to take another breath of oxygen. the female pressed both feet into the ground and shot herself towards the surface. Instantly a shock of pain rang through her head all the way down her spine, causing her to gasp. Underwater. A hand went to her throat as the other reached up, frantically trying to find what she had hit. It felt like rock. She must have been swept off course by the current and washed into a cave, or under a rock shelf, or...or something! ohgaurdiansohgaurdiansohgaurdians!!!!

Something sounded like a burbling noise coming from the direction of the water. What was that all about? The faerie opened his eyes again and turned his attention to the water, trying to figure out what the source was and if it was anything he should bother being concerned about. Well, he didn't see anything that appeared to be off; maybe he was just hearing things.
Of course, Criofan was a bit more cautious than he used to be, and he figured a noise that seemed that out of place would probably have some sort of source. To make sure that he was indeed just halluncinating the noises, the faerie scanned his surroundings from left to right until his eyes fell upon a rock formation... and was that a flailing hand? The faerie squinted his eyes to get a better look, before deciding to get up and walk over. He wasn't sure if it was worth his effort to help whatever seemed to be struggling over there, but perhaps he could get a closer look and see what exactly was panicking under the rocks.

Calm. Calm. Her hand had broke the surface, meaning she probably just hit her head on a singular oddly shaped boulder. Meaning if she moved only slightly to the right... Huh...colors...If only she hadn't panicked. She blacked out, having her body float to the surface.

So he really had seen Erylia. Criofan watched as the demonic Pae'il floated to the surface of the water. At first he was really uncertain if he wanted to help her. Every situation they had was awkward. They hadn't had one non-awkward meeting since they had become teenagers. She said she loved him, with Criofan was extremely uncomfortable with and was still trying to bury in the recesses of his mind forever. Plus, what exactly was he losing if he just let her float there?
...An old friend.
With a heavy sigh, Criofan bent down and grabbed the floating demon's arms, dragging her back to the sands. The faerie nearly threw his back out in the process, being very weak physically when it came to the strength department. He let Erylia flop in the sand before he stared at the unconscious body quizzically. Now what?
Well, maybe he should check if she was breathing. She was breathing, right? Criofan bent down and pressed an ear near her chest, trying to figure out if there was any air going into her lungs at all.

Which was a negative. The gasp had done a damaging effect, having water slosh around in her lungs instead of oxygen. Brain cells were going to begin to crash in precious seconds. And yet Erylia continued her 'nap'. It would be hard to later explain what if felt like to black out. But it wasn't a good feeling.
OOC: XD no pressure though or anything on you criofan

(( Saving lives and medical knowledge? Not Criofan's forte. XD ))
Damn it, she wasn't breathing. No chest movement, not even in the slighest. If she wasn't breathing, then her heart probably wasn't going either, because it needed air to pump. Right? It was something like that. ...Well, s**t. Now what? He had a dying Erylia on his hands and absolutely no medical training except for his elder sister's useless ranting.
...That he never actually had ever paid attention to. Hm.
Well, what could possibly jump start her breathing and heart beat again? It looked like she had conked out from a lack of air, so he needed to give air to her somehow... but there was air all around them! Why wasn't she breathing it? Come on, Criofan, think... "Ya're the lucky one," he muttered to himself. "Ya' gotta' know something of use."
Maybe he could cut her open to let air in--that was an awful idea, and most importantly more deadly than this was. Hm... Well, he had air, right? And she didn't. Maybe he could share his air with her...
Criofan glanced wearily at her mouth. Well, maybe if he breathed into it, he'd get some sort of response; of course, he didn't want to kiss her. No, this wasn't a kiss, this was life or death. He didn't need to act like a two-year-old who was afraid of cooties just because she had once said she loved him. And the more time he dallied, the worse it would get, and if this didn't help, the less time he'd have to try out something else to get some air into her. He tilted her head back slightly to get her mouth to open up without actually touching her lips before sucking in a large breath, and once placing his mouth over hers, letting it out. Then, he put his head up, gasped, and gave it another shot.
He felt stupid. This wasn't a good time.

OOC: lol, I like his thought process though
BIC: Waking up from blacking out though is a lot worse. Her stomach began to writhe as her eyes shot open. She instantly grabbed onto the first thing she could. Criofan. His lips still open on top hers. Which were also open. A frozen shocked moment. She then all but threw the poor male to the side as she rolled to the other, coughing out a good bit of salty water. "Ew..." She spoke almost pitifully, curled up slightly as she held her stomach. Her head pounded in the fiercest headache of her life.
