It was...bittersweet. Sae was coming over, and that made Reese extremely happy. Having Saedah around made everything okay and didn't make Reese feel so...lost. But having Saedah over meant that Wilbur and Edge were going to be around, and that was not something he liked at all.
But that...that would have to wait and be put aside for now. Reese sat by the front door of the house, tracing his good hand over the rubber of his wheel chair as he waited. Sae was due to show up any moment now and he didn't want to miss her arrival.
Wilbur was not far off, in the kitchen making snacks. Every so often he'd glance out into the hall, and sigh.

Saedah was nearly dragging her father along as they walked up to the rather large looking house. Sure..this was a new place she was nervous as heck but she ..wanted to see Reese. She ..loved being around him,she liked how he never got angry with her timidness and was so patient with her. He was on par with Gwea on her like list.
"Make sure you listen to the adults here...and behave." His father reminded her firmly as they finally reached the door. Saedah looked up to her papa and nodded her head.
"Yes papa." She replied hugging her towel against her chest as well a small bag was slung over her shoulder. Now that she was here...she felt her nervousness start off as she listened to the door bell echo in the house. Chewing on her bottom lip she tried not to let her anxiety take over her. This was Reese's house...there was nothing here that could possible be bad right?
Her hair was tied up with the blue ribbon once again, this time in a pony tail, she wore a simple t-shirt with a picture of a cupcake on it. The words saying Kiss me I'm sweet written under it. She fidgeted trying to slow her racing heart.

"I'VE GOT IT!" Reese shouted, a little more demanding than he needed to be as he put power into his pushes, rolling the few feet to the door and turning the handle. It was hard for him to do, but after a moment he managed to get one hand on the knob, one hand on a wheel, and push himself backwards, opening the door.
"Thaedah!" he cheered happily, bouncing in his chair as he held it open for the pair. "Hello Mr. Kuyoka."
Wilbur managed to set the last of the hot dog minis into the oven, taking a moment to make himself look presentable before emerging from the kitchen. He offered polite and courteous smiles to both the girl and her father.
"Good afternoon. Glad to see you've made it here all right."

Kuyoja nodded his head in greeting to the man who approached though he did acknowledge Reese when he had opened the door.
"Yes, thank you for taking care of Saedah." He replied as the girls beaming happiness froze in terror at the unfamiliar male. Kuyoja nudged her back to try and snap her out of it.
Saedah's face had brightened considerably when Reese had opened the door but as soon as Wilbur she felt her body freeze. She recalled him, he was..loud and scary and had yelled at Reese the first time they had met. She...clung to her towel with all her might trying to not let the memory overwhelm her, though her heart was racing. She felt the nudge and her thoughts derailed off of Wilbur and she looked up to her papa thankful for the distraction.
"Now pumpkin you know to behave yourself. Listen to the grown ups and obey the rules of the house hold okay?" He instructed to keep her mind off of the fact she was terrified of Wilbur.
Saedah nodded her head,
"Y..yes papa." She murmured softly as she then looked back to Wilbur and Reese, her eyes flickering to Wilbur in a please dont eat me manner before she bowed to them both.
"th..thank you fo..for having me o..over." She murmured.

At first he wouldn't understand why Sae went from being the happy girl he loved to see...to becoming terrified. But as soon as Wilbur spoke from behind him, Reese knew what was wrong and shot a death glare at the adult.
"I got it," he repeated, hoping the adult would get the point.
"It would be rude of me to not welcome our guests, Reese," Wilbur said, his tone a little flat. He understood the boy was still very angry at him...but really, the attitude needed to stop.
Reese just sighed, a little over dramatically, before looking to Saedah and wishing she would just smile for him again. He hated seeing her so scared.
"Come on, Thae, we can go down to the pool. It'll be quiet there," he encouraged, using his tail to flick the door prop down so he wouldn't have to hold it any longer. He'd turn his chair to face down the hall, offering his hand out to her...making a beckoning motion.

Saedah hesitated as she looked up to her Papa who only nodded his head, his face will still stern...though the gesture was suppose to be encouraging. Taking a quick and quivering breath she hugged her fathers leg and offered a tiny kiss to his leg whilst ushering a small 'chuu' sound effect. She then looked up at him and beamed before she quickly slipped around Wilbur, her form shrinking as far away from him as possible as she then went to stand beside Reese.
She blinked a bit at the offered hand her face blushing slightly as she took it. Nodding as he mentioned they were heading for the pool. She was looking forward to it.
Kuyoja having noted the rather ...tense atmosphere between Wilbur and Reese didn't comment but only nodded his head to the butler again.
"I will be back later then to pick her up." he mentioned as he offered a small bow to the older man again. "Thank you again."

Wilbur would simply sigh at Reese's attitude before returning his attention to Kuyoja and returning his bow with a polite head nod and...partial bow. It really wasn't his custom, but he understood it to be the man's.
"Of course. It's good that Reese has a friend," he mentioned.
While the adults talked, Reese carefully lead Sae further into their house, using his free hand to turn his wheelchair while still holding onto her's. He'd given her hand a reassuring squeeze, smiling before slipping his hand away and rolling himself forward (he needed both to move, after all).
He'd let Wilbur take care of shutting the door once Kuyoja left.
"Juth follow me," he instructed, wheeling down the hall towards the basement door. Open, prop...he'd show Sae the special lift that had been installed so that he could get down the steps.
"It'th really cool," he said with enthusiasm as he shifted himself onto the seat. "You wanna ride down on it with me? It'll hold ush both, no problem."

Sae followed the boy a bit more hesitantly, though she trusted him this was a new place for her. And it still made her nervous to overthink the fact this place was huge. Much much bigger than her small apartment. She turned her attention to the lift he was speaking off and looked rather skeptical at being asked to ride with him.
Was...there enough room for her and all her coils on his wheelchair? She still recalled being so frightened of the metal contraption when she was little. She felt a bit foolish for it now but she still chewed her lower lip as she thought.
Slowly she inched closer and in a near whisper told him she wasn't sure if she could fit on his lap.
