Now I know we all love Bowie, but that doesn't make us blind to some past blunders of his (in fact these little blunders make us love him more). So what's your favorite worse Bowie moment?
Mine is Tin Machine's Baby Universal... when I first heard it I was like... WTF? o_O

The "he slept with Mick Jagger rumor" That's not my favorite but it's the one I'm least likely to forget in a hurry

I wouldn't say it was his worst moment, but the 'Dancing in the Streets' video was just embarassing. Not like 'gag, ick horror' embarassing, more like 'gigglesnort, David how I love you' embarassing.

the Nazi salute and that interview with Playboy where he said "England could benefit from a facist ruler like Hitler." It sort of made Bowie look insane xd

I'd have to say dancing in the street and when he quit the Ziggy Stardust scene.

This pic always cracks me up... mrgreen

Pretty much all of the Never Let Me Down album. But I think "Bang bang! ...I've got mine! Bang bang! Reach for the sky!" takes the cake. xd
Plus sometimes he's just a dork. That's what I love about him. Like on one concert on TV I saw him sing Survive from Hours, and when he sang "give me wings..." he started flapping his arms in slow motion like he was trying to be a swan or something. I thought I was going to pee from laughing so hard. rofl

When I first saw the Dancing in the Street video...I mean, what's up with the close-up on David Bowie and Mick Jagger's asses? gonk And could they be dancing any closer together? Oh, and, the day he got married...T.T

Heh, have any of you guys heard "Please, Mr. Gravedigger" by Bowie? Oh man, it's hysterical. I love it, though. But it's just plain weird. There's no music, and what he's doing can barely be considered singing. There's just church bells and rainfall sounds in the background while he chants some weird song about killing a girl, and about how he's going to kill the gravedigger eek
Heh, I listen to it all the time, though. It's so bad that it becomes awesome through the sheer badness. Heh, my little sister likes to make the joke "This is when Bowie went solo..." (because of the complete lack of music).
I don't know if it's unreleased or anything, so I'll have to look into that. If it turns out that it is, I can send it to you guys if you ask me.

Ahh, yes. The Laughing Gnome. That's... that's a song I really don't need to listen to. I thought it was hilarious the first time I heard it, but the little gnome's chipmunk-voice kinda grates on my nerves so I haven't given it a listen since.

Ai.Nanashi Saisei The day he got married. crying Ah, don't say this is out of pure jealousy.. smile I used to be that way. But then again, it's not like we have a chance and I love seeing him happy. He seems happy with Iman, and that makes me happy. I used to say "I don't like Iman" but that has turned into a love for her.

I agree.
I love seeing pictures of them together. They're obviously still smitten with each other and are so happy together. And they're both so beautiful. And Iman is just awesome on her own merit. In my mind, they're the perfect golden couple. mrgreen I haven't seen any pictures of their daughter since she was born; I can't wait to see how gorgeous *she'll* be when she grows up.
