It had been several days now since his little stroll with Mysmyr and Adhabu was starting to wonder what the other new ones who had come in were like. He knew that most of them weren't related - as his group had been - but still, he'd like to know more.
So he made it a point to try to meet more of them, drifting about around the areas they'd chosen for their dens. He wasn't annoying about it, but from time to time he would approach one or another and just strike up a casual conversation.
Today, his "target" was a lovely blue lioness. Smiling slightly, he walked up and gave her a little nod. "Hello, I don't think we've met before ... I'm Adhabu-shinda."

It was funny, or so Ilmatar thought, that before she became upon these lands she was all by her lonesome and left for dead. If it weren't for the group of lions that found her, all whom she felt were her acquaintances more than her friends, she would not have the opportunity to travel with them and call the swamps her home. Lavender orbs sparkled lightly as she gazed out across the lands and her slender tail twitched behind her. She became in a hypnotic trance while her mind raced with the memories that occurred in her life began to replay. She remembered the first time back when she was a cub she was rescued from a near death situation and back to the river where the currents almost swept her away. The thing about Ilmatar was that whenever she tried to keep out of danger, she never could. No matter how many times she tried to run and be careful, danger was always lurking and it always seemed to find her.
Her ears twitched slightly and jumped some as the sudden voice startled her; snapping her out of her trance. Blinking slowly and narrowing her orbs, an amiable smile played upon her features. As nice of an idea of being alone, Ilmatar didn't mind the other's company. She bobbed her cranium slightly in respect and parted her lips to speak. "Hello," she greeted. "I believe we haven't. My name is Ilmatar. It's nice to meet you Adhabu-shinda," she allowing his name to roll of her tongue. "My, isn't that name a mouthful?" she asked with a smile.

Adhabu smiled at that and nodded slightly. "I suppose that it is... if you like, you could simply call me Adhabu," he offered then. His own life had been quite different, if one thought about it.
From a young age, he'd always been part of a fairly large family, and had been protected. So much so that he hadn't actually known how to handle pain very well until he had been on his own.
"Ilmatar is a nice name as well," he said then, politely. "I don't mean to pry or be rude, I'm just trying to get to know all the new faces around here."
