Hair/Eye Color : Her hair is black as night, dyed with magic. When she was born, her parents found that their eldest and only daughter was an Albino. Thus, with her pale skin, she has black hair, and pink eyes, when they aren’t changed with magic. Then again this irritates them quite a bit, so she has a tendency to let the pink stay.
Pet : At home, she has a pet Burmese Python, named Joseph Stalin. Technically it’s her brother’s but as he never feeds the poor thing, it’s taken to staying with Rosy. She took to Hogwarts her beloved Raven. Raven is a Cinnamon Screech Owl, named Raven because of the fact that she was found in the woods, eating what looked to be a dead raven. She is a gentle creature, protective and kind over her owner. Then again, she can also be a demanding little b***h, and almost always attacks the other owls in the Owlery. Thus, she is kept firmly locked up in Rosalinea’s room, with a cage of her own.
Home Life :
Mama: Her mother, Russian beauty Vera, is a stern, and rather picky woman. She never went to Hogwarts, preferring to go to Durmstrang, as she was dead convinced that the Britain school was far too “soft”. Vera loved her daughter, but constantly laments that she does not have her blond hair or blue eyes. She is as pale as Rosy, but doesn’t like to admit it. After her daughter was born, Vera was in a terrible accident, leaving her infertile. She adopted afterwards.
Papa: Her father is a tall, laid back Spaniard. Named Marcus, he is a sight to look at. Not because he’s handsome, but because he’s always covered in paint. Marcus is indeed a famous Muggle and Wizard painter. This is how he and his family live as they do. He met Vera when he was on an exhibition. She was a hostess at the time, working day in and day out at a high-class Russian Hotel. Their story is a classic Romantic comedy. He fell in love with her at first sight, but Vera turned her nose on the scruffy and rather clumsy Spaniard. Marcus’ tendency to drink gave him a lot of trouble trying to woo Vera, who hated alcohol of any kind. Finally, one day, she came to his Gallery. Upon seeing his paintings, and then seeing that he, this strange, scruffy man had made them; she fell in love with him. Returning to Spain with her Boyfriend, the two stayed together for years, until finally, Marcus popped the question. They moved to Barcelona to be with his now dead sister after Rosy was born.
Brother: David is the son of Marcus’ late sister. She died tragically of Influenza, and left her only son orphaned. His father had committed suicide a month before, when his company went bankrupt. David was only about 9 months old, when his mother died. Vera took him in, being infertile and extremely depressed. She had always wanted two children, a boy and a girl. David is very Magical, as Rosy is entirely Pure-Blood. Technically Rosy’s cousin, the now eight year old David knows that he was adopted. However, he still calls Vera and Marcus mama and papa. He adores his elder sister, who loves him very much in return. He is the reason she got the nickname Rosy, as he could never say her real name until recently. David has a lisp, but it’s really quite cute.
Diving deeper : Rosy is the different Slytherin. While she is snobby and very spoilt, she manages to actually be somewhat nice. That is, unless you’re a Griffindor. Her ex-boyfriend was one of the house, and his rude dumping of her has left her very bitter. It wasn’t like she liked him anyway, she was going to break up with him when he did with her. But, his rude words, and admitting that he’d only dated her in hopes that she might give him so money, and a fun time in the bedroom. Rosy is extremely Chaste, though she can be a flirt. She’s a romantic at heart, mainly because of the way that her father and mother met and were married. Rosy takes after her father in the fact that she would love to drink, but doesn’t out of fear. She’s an immaculate, nearly OCD person, thanks to her mother. She has a sarcastic streak a mile wide, and at times can be so polite it’s almost scathing.
Taking a closer look :
“ROSY!” said the irate and rather high-pitched yell from her mother. The thin girl darted downstairs, her black hair put up into an elegant bun, with little sequins embedded into it. For her first day of her Sixth year, her eyes were a deep, rich gold, like her father’s. David darted up to his sister/cousin, a wide smile on his face. He handed her a bouquet of paper flowers, along with a note.
“Good luck, sissy!” he said happily, hugging her. She smiled, and rather awkwardly patted him on the back. It was difficult to do, as her hands were full. One held the bouquet of paper roses, and the other a steaming mug of Blueberry Hazelnut Tea. She had a tendency to drink the strangest concoctions, but she loved them. Giving her mother a quick peck on the cheek, she and her father were off to go to Hogwarts. They drove in the enchanted car that he had, her things were already shoved into the trunk. Rosalinea straightened her white blouse, making sure that the black spaghetti-strap she had underneath didn’t slip. She was wearing her favorite pair of black jeans, the ones with the little diamond rhinestones on her pockets, and bottoms. She had done them herself, having been bored one day, and had a gem-sticker in her hand. She watched her mother lift David up off the ground, her strong, thin arms holding him. The woman waved to her departing child, who would return just in time for Christmas. She never returned anytime else, usually immersed in her studies, or wreaking havoc amongst the other students.
