The Nightmare.
Hi, everyone! I just wanted to butt in for a second before the EI Report to give you some big news: we've got a new evolving item this week, and I'm pretty darn excited about it. Unlike most EIs, which are done primarily by one artist each, The Nightmare will be traded off between several of Gaia's amazing EI artists!
Each week it evolves, the item will be reinterpreted with the distinctive style of a different artist-- it's set to be one of the most amazing and unpredictable items ever. Pick up a first-gen version now to get in on the ground floor!
Dr. Singh: It's a lot more than distracting, Timmy. It's just... baffling. Anyway, we should get on with the show, since we've got so many great items to talk about! First up, there's the brand new item! Flynn already told you about the mysterious Nightmare, an item that leaps between the dark subconscious reaches of many different psyches... it seems to be well on its way to legendary creepiness already, with a ton of wild starting poses!
Timmy: Hey Doc, remember when I fell into a dissociative fugue after bein' exposed to a thing of pure evil? This is kinda like that!
The latest 749 EI.
It's umm, dream based, something with a horse, uhhh...
Oh, it is going to be done by many artists, all taking turns with each phase.
They must have enjoyed filling in with the gogh reed.Phase II  pepper-tea took ahold of this item for this phase, looks like she was going for circus, tiger trainer look, I love the shadow tiger, if you turn your avi, the tiger's eyes turn red and looks mean, that's awesome. There's also a headless pose. Thoughts? Opinions? etc? THE NIGHTMARE!  Ooooooooh!  This week is epicly great. L0ck is amazing and I want to get into his head. He knows what the word 'Nightmare' means. We got dark blood spilling out of the mouth, realistic eye gouging wounds, and what looks like a deep gash in the stomach. Colorful change up from a gory nightmare. Loving it personally, even though it;s off topic.

I think it's another desparate grab for cash, as always.
It's like the other 'dark' themed items, trying to pull the 'goth' users into the EI's evil grasp.
But thats normal for all EI's, whether they cater to the fluffy girls (classilke) The military/history buffs (L Journal) The techies (NanoC/ Anima) and whatever eles I can't think of off the top of my head.
SO, They seemed to enjoy the success of those few weeks (or months or whatever) when they had other artists filling in for [Insert artists name here] for the Gogh Reed and desided it'd be a fun team building exorsize to have everyone work on the same item, taking turns in the traditional playground drinking fountain way, with each phase being some sort of 'veiw into the phykie' of the artists or something along those lines.
To really Pull users toward this item (I'm geussing this is the pet project of the year) they are doing things kinda funky, by having poses that are usualy given at the end, given at the begining, the hair and wings etc.
And YES!
IT WORKS!
Gaians are choking at the end of their chains to get ahold of this item (Myself included), So hopefully they won't pull a maskurade on us and have it evovle before I manage to get my hands on a few.

After selling many pearls (bastage didn't evolve like it should have) and some classilkes (why would a knitting/crochetting EI suck?) then selling off my oollddd RIGS 9bag of win 2 and infinity hats, they don't inflate with the fancy new RIGs out there) I can now afford 4 Nightmares!

I rather like the nightmare with its first form I love the color choice with it, I hope it does evolve this EI week, I like the western theme the first one went with the horse was cool and the dark wing head thing, over all 8 out of 10 first form
I wonder who will be taking over it this time, an if it will keep that western nightmare look be cool if it gave you some pistols or something to that effect more horse stuff things like that, or moon based items anything like that I would love
I'm not into it if its gonna be real goth like, I like it right now for the western look and its brown black color combo

New nightmare look hmm its alright in my opinion i'm not the hugest fan of carnival like items but it will do just fine its PT's design so it works alright
But now we know it can be just about anything, seems like it will not just be cloth an spirits
