Hey guys. So I bring you a bit of lulz, sort of. More sad and pathetic than anything, though.

So you know my sig, it currently has a LOVELY Zutara manip and an epic banner, and the saying "Sometimes you just need to say, who needs canon," At the time I am about to refer back to, it was the two pics and the Twilight icon, minus the saying.

So, not too long ago, I was BANNED from my Anti-Twilight guild, for reason of trolling. Though I had no prior warning, and I was not given an example.

Seeing as how I'm fairly level-headed on forums, and don't randomly troll, let alone in my own guilds, this of course confused me.

I then went to the guild's founder and explained my situation and confusion, and she got me back in. I barely make one post before the girl who banned me responds with this:


Admittedly, I kind of did want to show off, but that got old almost instantly and I just got back to having a Zutara sig for the sake of Zutara. Not to mention, I was growing tired of having Twilight crap in my sig anyhow. But I'm not harassing, I'm not interupting the workings of the guild. I just have a sig with Zutara in it.

So, what the heck. I guess she thinks I'm trolling her by sporting my Zutara pride. I hadn't had Zutara stuff in my siggy for a while, because of my phase with Anti-Twilight propganda, lol, but you guys could totally vouch for me, having a sig that is packed with Zutara goodness and smart-assery is NOT new for me. I just took a break from it, and then came back to it with new, prettier icons/banners.

If she's trying to get me banned AGAIN for this, I'm going to be pissed. I was already growing impatient with this girl for how she behaves in the guild. There was a huge thread going on about how they should TOTALLY ban some girl just because she had a TEAM JACOB Icon in her profile. And she "seemed like a spy.", and this girl was the one who had even started the thread and suggested she ban the girl. Which, that kind of pissed me off, and I fought it vehemently. Shortly thereafter I got banned, and I thought it was for voicing my opinion about this alleged "spy." Well, no, turns out, it's just voicing my opinion about a pairing I like in my own sig. (cause it can't be the Anti-Twilight icon.)

This girl...really just rubs me the wrong way. And it had nothing to do with her pairing preference. It's how she acts in the guild. Everything is so Draconian with her, I found that out in the whole mess with the poor girl they were all plotting to get rid of(and did, I think.) It kind of made me want to actually leave the guild.

Now I'm sticking around to defend myself, because I don't appreciate being banned wrongly and treated unfairly. And I don't appreciate this chick telling me to change something that I have completely FREE right to customize as long as it's not horribly inappropriate.

Makes me really grateful for this guild, my only other guild I actually go to anymore, where everyone respects each other and we wouldn't plot to get rid of someone if they said that they liked Maiko or Kataang even a tiny bit much less in a THREAD in the main forum where EVERYONE can see it and get a laugh...or feel horrible, if you're the person being plotted against. *huggles the guild* As well as mods who don't ban you over stupid s**t.

So, the Anti-Twilight guild is kind of falling out with me...But I'm fighting this battle. It's not like I made any really close friends over there anyway, I was usually pretty much in the background, though I'm currently discussing the whole ordeal with a curious bystander of the conversation between myself and the girl accusing me.

I could be banned again by the end of the day, or the guild master might come in and swing the banhammer on the accusor instead. Anything could happen. But, since it pretains to Zutara and being persecuted for it, I'll keep you guys posted.

Progress report: Not banned yet! Haven't heard from the girl either.

Thanks for the support, guys. ^^ I can't believe people can be so petty either. And it IS stuff like this hateful attitudethat drives me away from joining some forums or even sticking around in others. We Zutarians are a lucky bunch. ^^

I don't think it had much to do with her hating Twilight or not, she's apparently just a Kataanger and otherwise canon shipper. We just joined the same guild and we're apparently now clashing since it became apparent that I'm a hard-core Zutara shipper.

And actually, I'm beginning to get tired of the Anti-Twilighters as well, because there's just a lot of negativity in that guild, like I said with the one girl being plotted against, just for having an icon in her profile. Anti's can be just as bratty and vicious as the psycho Twilight fans.

By the way, if anyone DOES like Twilight in here, I'm not meaning to offend you; just Twilight is not my thing, and some of the fans ARE insane.

I agree with all you guys, I mean, it's stupid and a waste and abuse of power to have someone who's willing to ban you at the tip of a hat if your sig displeases them. If I get any more trouble or warning from her, I will take it to the guild leader myself.

However, as since the first incident when I got back, I haven't really seen her or gotten told off by her. Maybe she already got a talking to, I mean, her comment to me WAS right out in the open of the guild.

And actually, Daydreamer, I may not have anything that says "Zutara is the best, everything else sucks," BUT, this girl was actually the one with a sig that said, in so many words, "Zutara Sucks- Not canon? then it didn't happen."
And go figure, I'm the one that's trolling.

Honestly I get a little antsy when I hear people geek about Kataang, it's kind of an Oh, crap kind of feeling, like, I really can't relate to them, but I do respect them, sometimes as friends...I mean, it makes me glad that all my IRL friends ship Zutara, otherwise things would be a wee bit uncomfortable. But banning someone just because they like it? Until they actually harass someone, I wouldn't ban them. We Zutarians got enough s**t in the Avatar fandom to know how unfair that judgment is, I think.

And it is possible to be a pan-shipper. I'm usually a pan-shipper, but when it came to Avatar, I just couldn't do it. At least not for a certain 2 pairings.
