Name: Katachi Hensen (Shape Shifter)
Normal Form:Black wakazashi with a black circular hilt guard, red wrapping around the hilt, with a blood red fox design underneath. Also carved into the blade (almost invisible because of color), are the kanji representing, strength, speed, power, and wisdom
Shikai:Achieved "Shift, Katachi Hensen" (shape-shifter)
In shikai my blade can assume any form I desire. As a standard form, it will wrap around both forearms, producing metal bracers, that extend down to form long metal claws on each finger, lastly, it covers my hands with a kind of chain mail to keep them safe from harm. after that, I can make it assume any for I want. As a size limit, I'd say I could make a shape roughly 5 times my own size, or several tentacle like appendages stretching out about about 50'. After several years of training, I can now control my blade when it is separate from my body, however this requires more concentration, and is difficult to do. Also, I can use a more basic form of the fusion technique that my bankai gives me, the main difference being the power level, and the fact the the blade itself does not fuse with my flesh.
Bankai:Not Yet Achieved
1st Stage: "Bankai Soudai Katashi Hensen" (Grand Shape-shifter)
Befoe entering bankai, I let go of my blade, and it hovers in the air. As I say the command and step beside it, it reshapes itself into a giant metal fox with nine tails. It's shape-shifting abilities now have no limit, and it can move freely, either to my commands, or more often, of it's own volition. I can also remove one or more of it's tails, to fight with, just as I would use my shikai. Essentially each tail, once seperated functions exactly the same as my shikai. Using more than one tail allows me to have more mass to work with. My bankai also changes forms much faster than before, sometimes seeming to instantly change form one form to the next.
2nd Stage:"Shinkan Kihakuhensen" (Fuse, Soul-shifter)
When I enter the second stage of my bankai, the giant fox sends large tendrils out from it's chest, and draws me into itself. At this point, my zangpakuto fuses itself, both with my body, and soul. My zanpaukto spirit bonds itself to my souls, and the blade leterall fuses with my flesh, seeming to be absorbed by my body. Fusing like this gives me amazing defensive capabilities, ans evey fiber of my body takes on the properties of my zangpakuto, this of course grants me the ability to shape-shift myself, but with similar limits to my shikai the main difference being the speed at which I change forms. This represents a great danger, because I have to make sure that before I separate with my blade, every part of my body is back to normal, or I could cause irreparable harm myself. The other part of the danger, is that when I separate with my blade, it causes severe spiritual trauma, which backlashes onto my body and causes internal bleeding, making effectively useless upon separation.
Skills: Techno whiz, skilled with most hand held weapons, skilled with shuriken, moderate skill in tactics and intelligence, moderate skill in stealth, novice martial arts abilities.
Items: Melohim always carries around a bag of salmon jerky, just in case he get's hungry, as well as a bag with pills which restore reiatsu when taken, however they cna only be taken once per day, or terrible side effects will occur. Also carries what is known as a kitsune ball. A plain white ball with no special attributes. In addition to the normal shuriken he carries, Melohim also carries 20 special shuriken, that are keyed to his reiatsu and will repond to his commands in flight. The can also produce an explosion of either fire or electricity with a 7' blast radius. This does not cause any damage to the shuriken itself. 10 are made of a mercury compound, and 10 are made form a mysterious bone substance.
Abilities: Has the ability to shut off unwanted emotions so as to always stay calm and collected. Also is a natural leader. Heals at a faster rate than your average person, kistune or otherwise.
Personality: Very Calm, Centered, somewhat of a loner. Always kind and willing to lend a hand to those in need. Has very few friends, but to those friends he will show undying loyalty.
Biography: Melohim Var is a young kitsune, being only 118 years old. He is a wild kitsune, and his two tails, allow him to control lightning.(not yet achieved). He is 6’ tall, weighs 150lbs, has black fur with white on the inside of his ear, on the tip of his tails, and in an oval shape covering his torso and abdomen. Because he is a wild kitsune, and not part of the kitsune court, he prefers to be alone, and spends his spare time reading, training or meditating. He has only a couple of friends, but those few are the best fiends a Kitsune could ever ask for. On the day of his death (which coincidentally was also the date of his birth, April 11th) he was practicing tai chi with Grishna, a female Kitsune, and his closest friend. She had wanted to further their relationship for some time, but he refused, saying he wasn’t ready. This day was no different. What was different was that when he refused her, (in the kindest way possible as always) she burst into tears and ran off. He let her go, figuring that she just needed time to cool off, but when she did not return after a couple of hours he decided to go looking. Using his tracking skills he easily found her, but she was best by a monstrous creature and was heavily wounded. Just as the creature was about to make its final blow, he jumped in front of it taking the blow himself. He then told her not to worry, and fired the biggest bolt of lightning he could create right through the heart of the creature. The blow he received proved to be fatal, but he didn’t mind dying for someone he thought of as a sister (he explains this to Grishna). As he dies she whispers “I love you” into his ear, and the strength of her love is so powerful that when he wakes up in rukongai, he heres an echo of her words. Confused, he pushes the words to the back of his mind and sets about getting ready for life in soul society. After a suitable time he enters the shinigami academy, figuring that he should be as useful as he could to this new world. As he gets ready for his graduation ceremony the words echo again, and he has a foggy vision of himself, mortally wounded firing of a very large bolt of lightning. He realizes that this could be part of his past, and makes a promise to himself that he would try to find the girl, and figure out how he died.
