I'm okay with either... i'm probably going to end up using the same character anyways.. with a few modifications if we're starting anew..
The problem with going with where we left off with is that some of the crew members might have been booted from the guild, don't want to RP anymore, or are not on Gaia anymore. So.... might as well start anew.

I say we start over. Most of the storyline slowed or stopped altogether after the profiles thread was deleted the first time, and now we've all but completely reconstructed the entire IC forum section, so there's no reference as to where we left off.

I personally believe we should start anew from the ground up. I'm still want to use my old characters, but i also want to create new one's too. Another thing we could do is to get new members so that we at least can see some new blood in this guild. The other's who only have zero posts to their name should be taken care of, don't you think?

Sure. I'll be trying to get the profile skeletons up soon. I'm thinking of taking the ones from a Naruto guild I'm in and altering them to suit this guild.

I have something to say concerning the profiles. The captain and vice captains should decide whether each profile is acceptable or not. Like, if there's something that they forgot to fill in or made a mistake on one of them. Should there also be a restriction on how many characters we could create?
And with devil fruits, do we still have to pay for them and how much? The problem i find is that people claim that they have devil fruits when they haven't paid for one.

I promoted everyone who's in the Crew based on how much I've interacted with them and how reliable I think they are. I think that for the moment we can waive the fee for devil fruits, if we ever start it again. I might just make the fee a 10k donation to the Guild, instead of mixing the fees up with my own cash.
As for the profiles, I agree with Mana. VC/Captain approval should be mandatory to prevent cases of potential godmodding.
I've got the profile skeleton up now. What do you think?

Woo! Sweet! My devil fruit is the Hebi Hebi no Mi: Model Night Adder. It's a real snake too! I looked it up and my first post is on West Blue. Mana? Would you like to zip your dear character over there and make friends? ^^

Also I looked at the profile skeleton...but I can't help but find it a little over the top. Do you know if we could use something simpler like the one my character Lamia's using...only with a little extra?

When you look at it after you post it up it's really not that complicated. The only reason it looks so big is because a large portion of it is profession-specific. About 10% of the size is devoted to a marine-only section. I'm going to have my revised profile up in a few minutes, so you can take a look at what it looks like finished. I've just got to finish the bio.
