The other day, during lunch, I, along with 2 counterparts, decided to go out to the courtyard and dance in the rain. And we just danced. Danced and danced, and to quote Bob Dylan, "yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free..." And we danced. And as we came back in to the cafeteria, we discovered that the entirety of A-Lunch had been watching, cameras and all, and they, including the faculty, broke into full-fledged applause and cheer. And it was an adventure, and it was beautiful.
I tell people and they say "oh, how embarrassing!" And I reply with a, "No, actually, I had a great time. I wasn't embarrassed in the least, because I had a great time. I expressed myself and hope that others won't conform to conventions and express themselves as well.
So, dance in the rain!
Express yourself and don't sit in a costumey shell with no real emotion on your sleeve. Because it's all in the attitude. Others would have been mortified in my situation. But I wasn't and I feel amazing.
Another friend wore a KFC bucket on his long-haired head in honor of Buckethead. Expression.

Hey, you have to to BE the change you want to see in the world.
Go up to somebody on the street and say something to them. Say, "you're beautiful." We are all beautiful. Or just give them a flower and say "in peace" if you're too afraid of conversation. I know I am. I wish I had more courage to do so though. Be the pebble thrown into the pond and watch the ripple grow. One random act of kindness, and may the world be caught in the ripple. Perhaps that person will be inspired to do the same to others. And them, to others? Thus, the concept of world peace and love.

Good for you! We need more people who say "Screw what you think."
I had an experience like that too. I went to my school dance and they started to play a good song. And I started to feel the rhythm in my bones. Thus I started to dance. (By myself) Then after a bit people started to make a circle around me. I tried to urge my friends to join but they just looked at me. When it was all over people where telling me how cool it was to just start dancing like that. (Now I'm not sure if they were just telling me that. Or if they really meant it.)

I love that picture.Gotta love Bob Dylan. I listened to Bob Dylan with my uncle after we chopped some fire wood for my camp out this weekend. It was awesome, we talked for hours drinking beer and listening to good music.

Yeah, lol. But I'm underage and won't do it probably until I am old enough to do it. I'm straightedge(no drugs, or alchohol) for my years in school.
