Some of the dialogue in that dub crushed my soul and made me laugh at the same time. Which lines did you hate the most? Here's my least favourite:
Luffy: *being sucked into sand whirlpool* IT'S SUCKING ME DOWN LIKE A GIANT SAND TOILET!!!
Crocodile: Nice way to put it! That means you must be desert doo-doo!

Oh God!! I know what you mean! My least favorite is during Arlong Arc.
Usopp: You don't have to save any for me!
Zoro: *makes chicken noise*
UGH! Never make Zoro sound like a chicken. Never!!

Never!! O______o I agree. At least he isn't desert doo-doo. The weird thing about that bit was that I was thinking along the same line as Crocodile was. After Luffy compared that whirlpool to a toilet, I thought "Eww, Nice way to say it Luffy. LOL he's desert crap!" Then Crocodile read my mind. Another bit that makes me laugh: Luffy: I'm angry, and I'm WET! xd

I remeber this one where Nami explains about the clouds in the Alabasta arc. Then Usopp says " So the clouds are peeing on us?"

Yeah, they really do. When I first saw Sanji's entrance I thought, "What the Hell, why does he have a french accent." It was so stereotypical. There saying all waiters and chefs are french. And all of his dialogue makes no sense.

There saying all waiters and chefs are french. And all of his dialogue makes no sense. It's not even French, it's a Brooklyn accent. And he sounds like he has a bunged-up nose. xd

I guess you could say I was overzealous when Funimation took over One Piece. At least Sanji has a normal voice. Plus I love all of Christopher R. Sabat's work.

dreamluvrXx I guess you could say I was overzealous when Funimation took over One Piece. At least Sanji has a normal voice. Plus I love all of Christopher R. Sabat's work. I adore Chris R. Sabat! Have you seen him in the series Trinity Blood? He voices my favourite character. heart

Are you kidding? He plays my favi also! He has such an awesome voice. I mean can any man's voice truly get that deep?! Anyway, the dialogue for 4kids stinks...period!

I think we can all agree that 4Kids sucks when it comes to dubbing shows! The toilet remark is what really pissed me off! Funimation is a little better with the dubbing, though.

dreamluvrXx I do too, and I still watch it at times just to laugh at the horrible dialogue and voice acting. I do that with a lot of films actually, like the 1960's Batman film and Yu-Gi-Oh! The movie (courtesy of 4Kids. I love that film to bits, it's so rubbish!)
