Ok, I know that a lot of us have been the butt of many of them...but do you actually laugh at them?
Now I'll admit that just so long as no one is hurt by them or the butt of them unwillingly, then , yeah...I'll laugh. I used to get teased a lot...but I still have a sense of humor.
And if you do still laugh at them (or not) what are some of your fav jokes?
I'm partial to those "Your mamma's so fat" ones. They are usually so bad that they can never be hurtful. whee
And last thing...has anyone seen that movie Shallow Hal? I hate to admit it is a good movie but I liked it...and I was raised by a movie snob. sweatdrop Whoever wrote it seemed to have acutally spoken to an actual fat chick or two. I have actually said some of those things that that character Rosemary said. And yes...I laughed at the cheap fat jokes. Some were so bad though...and then there were the few that made me laugh because they had happened to me. sweatdrop

Well I once kinda turned a joke back to someone. We were in this stupid conversation about going to school naked. And I told him "Cant you imagine me coming to school naked? There'd be snipers on the roof scoping me out! Thats why you dont see fat naked guys walking around, they get shot Micheal!" It made me feel very happy 'cause he busted a gut, literally. Then I just was on a roll and needed to keep him laughing. I asked him "Why would you want me to come to school naked? Micheal....I'm not going to be a part of your fat naked guy fantasy!"
That literally killed him. He laughed so hard...made me feel special! xd
Now I always say to him "Micheal stop imaging me naked! Its not going to happy man."
Then theres me and my bestfriend Kasey. I always tell him hes fat (Hes hella skinny in my preferances). Then he turns around and says "John...you're hella skinny dude, gain some weight." I just laugh.

No really, It does hurt when someone makes jokes at our expence, but we all need to stop and think about funny it really is. Like the old saying goes, "someday we'll look back on this and laugh."

I'm not going to just sit and let some asshat insult me and try and pass it off as a joke "Aw c'mon, it's only a joke"...no, it's an insult, ******** find that if someone can't think of anything clever on their own and have to resort to poking fun at someone's weight, well...it's pretty pathetic. But that's just me. Some people don't mind having someone insult them to their face, but I won't stand for it.

Most of the time when I'm teased...yeah I get hurt but I'm finally able to do something my Mom told me to do a long time ago...laugh at it. Because I know that 95% of the time it is a lie....and if it is not it is truth and if it is...*shrugs* ...if I don't like it I can change it. Besides, most of the time the joke is a lame attempt to make the person who tells it feel better....and they usually need it...a lot. sweatdrop And since it is usually a group of guys who say it...at least one of them who laughs checks me out as I walk away. And if it is a group of girls...they stare at my boobs...usually because they have none. I think that it is just stupid to tease people...and that is why I laugh....the joke itself most of the time isn't that funny anyway... sweatdrop

I am just the kind of person who won't let some ignorant a** try and ridicule me for their own amusement. I have a sense of humour and I know how to take a joke, but when it's insulting and I'm not laughing, it no longer is a joke, it's an insult. We all have different ways of dealing with the ignorant, to each their own smile
