 Ilari came from deep into the forest into an opening, out into the bright sun. He closed his eyes, feeling the warmth on his skin. He stretched out on the grass, enjoying the fresh smell and heat. Slowly, he started to doze off. There were many things on his mind, but none of it really seemed to matter at this time. It was just him, and he had no one else to worry about. He had been on his own before coming here, and he hadn't realized how lonely he had really been... Then he wondered if he would find anyone today.

 Kitiara wasn't quite sure of where she was this day. Having no family, nor many friends, she found that she wandered a lot. Really she loved to explore different places and seeing new creatures, not caring of any danger. She didn't look it though she was tough. This day she walked slowly, taking in her surroundings. Upon her walking, she saw something up a head, it looked like another taur. Coming closer, she saw that it was indeed another, a male. She wondered what it was doing out here as well. Smirking she walked over to him. "Not interrupting anything, am I?"

Ilari looked up at the female who had approached him. "Oh, no, Miss. You're not interrupting anything at all." He smiles a bit. "I was just thinking it would be nice to have some company.. I'm Ilari." He pats the ground next to him, motioning for her to sit next to him if she would like to. "If I may ask, what are you doing alone on such a nice day as this?" He tilts his head slightly, a motion of questioning.

Kit looked down at the male, he seemed rather calm for being alone in the middle of a forest. Really she didn't care if she was interrupting anything, just seemed the thing to say. "Company is something I sometimes provide." She grinned a bit. "Kit, well Kitiara." Well, she didn't really have anything else to be doing at the moment and sat down. "It is a nice day, I'm just out exploring. Though I'm always alone, so it makes no difference."

Ilari's eyes softened when Kit said she was alone. "Why are you alone?" He wondered if she wanted to have a lot of space to herself, being used to people who wanted to be close to others. He thought for a moment. "I've been alone too.." he sighed a bit "And I don't really like it... I don't remember any of my childhood.. and I can't help but wonder if I was always alone." His lips tightened into a small frown. "What if I wasn't wanted?..." He shook his head, doubts clouding his mind. He instead wondered if telling her things about himself that he had never told anyone before would help her be more comfortable. He wasn't very hurt by not being able to remember, but it did scare him.

One of Kit's eyebrows rose as the male spoke. Whoa, she didn't ask for a life story, but it seemed like he was already done with telling it. She shrugged. "I chose to be alone. I had to raise my two half-brothers part of my life." She missed them, a little, it's not like she couldn't see them again. "i just wanted to be on my own."
"I'm sure you'll find out about your childhood. You don't remember a thing?" That seemed odd. "If you don't want to be alone, you can change that."

Ilari looked over at her, thoughtful. "It's all I know." He turned the subject back to her. "Why do you want to be alone?" he scooted a little closer, not really meaning to be charming, but always seems to be. "Don't you want someone to be next to you? Someone there to make you smile?" He thought for a moment. "Do you want to be alone now?..."

Kit shrugged. "Well you aren't alone at this moment." She thought, no one had really asked her that quest outright before. "Well, it's not that I want to. It's that I haven't found others that I want to share my time with." Like similar-minded people, she thought. "I like, some, taur. After raising my brothers I just needed some time to myself. I never said that I wanted to be alone right now." She grinned. "Had I wanted to be, I wouldn't have stopped."

Ilari blinked, "Well, that's true." He had never met anyone like her before. Something about her intrigued him. Slowly he stood, offering a hand to her. "Would you like to go on a walk with me, Kit?" his orange eyes seemed to sparkle with interest as he looked down into her blue/green ones. His smile was gentle, and he found himself wanting to make this girl smile more. He glanced around the opening, seeing a slightly flowered pathway.

Kit nodded, of course it was true. If it wasn't then she would have left. She was finding the other interesting to say the least, he wasn't annoying or anything. One of her ears perked. "Sure." It would be entertaining for the time at least. "Which way then? I'm not from this area."

Ilari offered her his arm, motioning with his free hand down the path with flowers. "Nor am I. I'm a traveler, I've only just been staying here for the past few days. It seems quite nice, and not many others come this way. It's not too far from market, either. It's a nice camping spot." He seemed quite cheerful at having company.

She usually wasn't one for much contact when it came to other's she didn't know. Though this time she decided that it would be okay and took his arm. Her face scrunched slightly at the sight of flowers. They were bad she just wasn't a 'girly girl' when it came to things. "Well you know more than I, since I just got here." Kit quirked an eye brow. "A market? I'll have to check that out later."

Ilari just wasn't sure what would please this woman, but he sure wanted to try. It was a bit of a relief to him that she had at least accepted his arm. He had picked up she wasn't too big on most of the things he was mentioning, but she seemed interested in the market. "I could show you where it is now, if you would like that. Is there anything you would like to see? A lot of odd merchants pass by at the market." He smiled his charming smile, not that he meant to.

"To the market then." There wasn't much else to do anyway and knowing where it was would be helpful. Plus, being on the arm of a male, she felt that he needed to lead her some place. "I'm not sure, browsing is always fun. Just seeing all the different things for all over." The charming smile caught her slightly off guard and she glanced away for a moment.

Ilari made their way through the forest. It began to thin, and a multitude of voices could be heard talking loudly through the trees. "I think you'll like it, then." He pushed a few low branches out of the way, opening a path to the side of the marketplace. It was a wide open field with tents pitched over some tables. The booths held virtually anything you could ever want. "Well, here we are." He motioned to the area around them.
