Aidan sat at the fountain flicking his tail and watching the people around his new territory. He had become master here through beating several cats and making it to the top. Sadly now… it seemed he needed minions of a sort, for his large structure had scared off many of the pervious cats. He wanted to be lenient enough to get people, but not weak enough to have no one that would be decent in a fight. Sighing heavily he thought of the cats without a territory that he had met… all seemed too young, too weak. He sat there watching a kid with dull amusement as he threw a coin over his shoulder and into the water, inevitably the water splashed Aidan in the face, but he seemed unfazed. Too far gone in thought while watching the ringlets form around where the coin had made an incision he hardly recognized the female a few feet away. His first victim.

Mir was wandering around the plaza, scouting out possible places to stay. She really liked this area and had decided to move here but she hadn't figured out where. Wandering over to the fountain, Mir though she'd sit and people watch until she figured out what to do next. She was rounding the side of the fountain looking for a dry place to sit when she recognized a familiar form. Well hello there...

Aidan felt that indescribable feeling of being watched. He whirled around, dart in hand and stared directly at Mir. He chuckled and put it in his wrist band. It seemed she always ran into the male when she needed someplace to stay, though he didn’t know that yet. He laughed and put the dart back in his bracelet and looked at Mirelle. She seemed different, not quite the desperate angry person he had first met. Aidan did have that ability… to completely change a person upon meeting. His laugh turned into a chuckle as he watched her. Perhaps a truce was being made, for it didn’t seem as though she had come to battle.
“Sorry… thought you were another tom threatening my territory, please come have a seat.”
He said patting the only semi wet space next to him.

Mir coolly stared back at Aidan as he looked at her with the dart in hand, an amused look on her face. "Not a problem." She sat on the indicated spot. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but i believe you said this was 'Your territory'?" Mir was curious. She hadn't heard anything about it, so if Aidan was telling the truth, though Mir didn't have a reason to doubt him, it must have happened pretty recently. She wasn't worried one way or another. It would be nice to know someone here once he finally settled in.

Aidan grinned, and slipped off the jacket. On his chest were three deep scratch wounds.
“Yeah. I’m the master here now, it was hard… but I didn’t want to live under anyone. Besides, they were all intimidated by my good looks.”
Being a typical male he flexed and winked at her, not seeming to care he was more leg muscle then arm.
“Unless I’m just being nosy, why is it you asked?” he questioned, flopping back onto the fountain and running a hand in the water. Why was there always water involved in their meetings? Ah well, if they fell in it wasn’t his fault. Besides…. With that white dress shirt…
He grinned and knew she more than likely wouldn’t know what he was thinking, as innocent as she was.

Mir chuckled and eyed the scratch wounds. "Not bad. I don't think I've ever had anything that deep." Mir was at ease but because it was Aidan, she was exercising a reasonable amount of caution. She eyed his hand as he put it in the water. He mind flashed back to the first time they met.
"If you get any water on me, directly or indirectly, I will find very painful ways of killing you and i will enjoy it."
Better to head him off at the pass before he got any ideas. Of course, this may just encourage him anyways...

Aidan stared at her, grinning like the Cheshire cat.
“Oh really?” he asked and flicked his hand, drenching the front of her shirt to the point she would fit in at a wet tee-shirt contest. A light filled his eyes and he looked at her.
“Guess we have to go to my home base and get you cleaned up. Though I prefer if you don’t try to kill me out here, we would get too much attention by the outside territories, we can do it at home, perhaps you can use a whip and chains.”
He grinned and offered her a hand. She knew he was harmless enough, and he knew he was harmless enough… besides, he really didn’t want to become Hikari’s next sweater. That girl had definitely marked her territory with him.
“I’m not going to hurt you promise.”He flipped his hand so only his pinkie was extended.

Mir stared haughtily back at Aidan, not bothering to cover herself up. She knew something like this would happen, but she would not back down. Looking him up and down, and she took his pinky with hers and shook it, grabbing his jacket with the other and slipping it on. "When i kill you it will be a knife in your gut."
His jacket had a pleasant musk to it, but she was damned if she was going to tell him that. "Lead on, oh Master of the Domain."

Aidan chuckled to himself.
“My kind of pleasure…”
He winked at her and led on through a hole under a fence, and up a storm drain. Walking on the rooftops was Aidan’s favorite thing to do, he loved looking down at the people that were so much smaller than him and feeling the exhilaration of the whole ordeal, and of course the adrenaline knowing that one may fall.
“So what were you doing in the plaza to begin with? As much as it saddens me I doubt you were looking for little ‘ol me.”He danced on the edge not bothering to look back, he didn’t hear her, but rather felt her presence at his back… and as much as he had been cautious lately, he trusted the smaller female there, willing to protect him.

Mir followed him, eyes talking in everything. When they ended up on the roofs, Mir smiled to herself. Roofs are good... She matched his steps, following him along the edge. "I'm looking for a place to stay." She replied "I really like it here in the plaza. I thought I'd use my feminine wiles to convince you to let me stay in 'your territory'." Mir grinned to herself. She always seemed more raunchy around Aidan. Probably because she trusted him as well as her own boundaries.

Aidan looked at her, now walking backwards. They were almost there… and then he felt the ledge and jumped backwards and landed on the other building, home. Trinkets and bobbles lay all around. Weapons for an army lay in assorted rows along the ledge. No one came to this particular building, and he found the night air gave a rather beautiful atmosphere to daydream of the future. Not that he was going to tell this female that, for now he viewed her with a calculating eye, observing her from toe to head. She looked strong enough, she was small enough to get into smaller places, and didn’t take s**t from hardly anyone… it seemed like a perfect fit to what he was looking for. She would have to be courageous and not be afraid to flirt her way out of trouble however, and he was cautious if she could manage it.
“I would have to test you. Not just your feminine wills would be able to defend this territory, I have no doubt your good enough, but I need to know how willing you are to serve and protect others placed in your care. Do you agree with the terms? You will have to accept a quest from me.” Rolling for different challenges:

Mir stopped at the edge of the building Aidan jumped off of. Somehow she figured she would have to earn the right to make that jump. To call that place home. Her eyes darted around the rows of weapons before coming to a stop on Aidan. "I would do anything for those placed in my care. Morpheus can attest to that and I wouldn't hesitate to prove it to you either. I will accept your quest."

Aidan flashed the typical Aidan grin.
“Then make that jump and come pick out your weapon. What I want you to do is go to the university, which as I hear from other masters is now a territory in its own right, but anyway I want you to go to the koi pond. Assuming you remember it, and I want you to catch me a fish. She is a beauty, a prize in her own right, her fins are longer than the others in the pond, and she gleams rainbows off of her scales. I will go with you to observe, but if you get yourself in a pickle, it’s up to you to get yourself out.” He raised a hand and ran it through his hair hoping to the gods she did not get hurt on this stupid quest.
“Your prize is you get to join the territory, and keep the weapon of your choosing.”The only tricky thing was, for aidan the quest wasnt about the fish, but what happened during it.

Mir jumped across and crouched among the rows of weapons. "Once I've caught this fish, what do i do with it?" She moved over to the knives. Growing up in the alley, she had become accustomed to quick, close-quarters combat. She picked up a few knives, feeling the balance before coming across a knife that intrigued her. It was mainly steel and was hinged at the base of the blade, and the hilt split off into two parts. She picked it up by one half of the hilt and flipped it, and the blade swung around and disappeared between the halves of the hilt. She stood up and flipped it the other way, the blade swinging back out. "I'll take this one." she said, flipping it back and forth, slightly mesmerized.

Aidan laughed while watching the young cat play with a knife. Had he ever done that in his younger years? He must have he thought still laughing in his mind. Then allowing himself room to contemplate her question, he allowed the thought to follow through to the answer, knowing deep in his bones it was the correct way to handle things. Aidan was a born leader.
“If I told you the answer to that question it would be cheating. Now put the knife away and don’t show anyone. You don’t want to give out all your Aces. Besides, we have to move unless you want to try to fish at dark.”
He turned abruptly and jumped down the building and waited, for this time, the younger female was leading the way.
