THE STEAMWERK BALL,
A Neo-Victorian Steampunk themed event!
This is the first year doing this event and the hope is of course, is to continue every year and making it Bigger and Better each time.

Go anyhow. We're not barbaric- we're steampunk! That involves sophistication, grace...and not being rude! And if anyone is rude to you about it, pop their goggles on em- I can tell you from experience- it hurts... crying

Goodwill my friend! Find yourself a nice wastecoat for 50 cents and a pair of slacks, Who knows you may find some nice little odds and ends to buy there! There will be a couple of venders selling Steampunk items! If you never attend a steampunk event, how will you get to see all that neat junk in real life? Sometimes the internet doesn't do it justice!

Indeed Dear, personally I wish they wouldn't serve only because I don't drink and I hate to be around people who are drinking.

I wish they wouldn't serve because apparently, bartenders, unlike restaurant waiters, are too lazy to card before serving a proscribed substance.

I'm quite shy about dancing in public, but were I in the state I WOULD BE THERE! I pretty much hate PA, though. I was going to go to school there to pursue a Masters of Library Sciences and had been accepted into a program when I found out that they were no longer issuing the permits for which you can own a sugar glider in the state. If I can not take my 3 children, human though they are not, then I am not going. Bye bye scholarship.
