According to your M/O Guild first post you state that Westphalia is a modern tech only nation. The problem being that the GG is NOT a modern tech nation... and hasnt been since its inception. So as long as you are a modern tech nation that does not allow post-modern tech, interaction is limited to pure conversation. So the question remains, are you intending to change to accept post-modern tech (obviously munching is never allowed regardless of tech level) or stay a modern tech nation and either be 'behind the times' or what?))

If you want to get technical, "Gaian Government" is at this time nothing more than a synonym for "a few mech guilds who allied themselves and hid 'emselves with a different name". I haven't seen much real government-ing going on here, save for a Justice Department which had flammable doors last time I checked. However, I do believe a government should have a bit more backstory than "a bunch of armies who got together and formed Gaia's government"; you might as well call yourselves fascists. When you get right down to it, it'll be the Gaian Army and their various space/mecha divisions making a government headed by their leaders and enforced by their military power and the GPD. And until you get some actual government together, you might as well change the guild name back to The Gaian Army. This may be a government in theory, but in reality nothing's complete except armed forces and law enforcement, both of which existed long before this effort began.

Besides which, while Westphalia is essentially a military state, it does not attempt what the Gaian Government does, it does not attempt to govern the country of Gaia and the people - the RP characters of real people - inside, and it does not attempt to lay out its legislation and lawmaking practices for all to see; also, it does not act under a guise of democracy.

Paying attention to the Gaian Government lately, I admit I expected much more than I got.))

(( *clears throat* Then allow me to clarify then... The majority of guilds associated with the GG are not, and have not been modern tech organizations, any of them really.

Regardless of our current efficency at governing the people (which was never in question in this post, and was COMPLETELY off topic gel...) if they intend to RP with us and do not accept post-modern tech (as stated) then the problem still remains...

The fact we have more than one guild regardless of affiliation invovled instead of one person RPing the entire thing or declaring themselves the ruler is pretty good start. The GG is really still a shadow mass of NPC's that help combine several guilds together as it has been since the GA decided they didnt want to be considered a ruling party. At the moment we havent tried to force our rule on anyone -hell we havent even advertised yet- so I fail to see how that makes us facists.. it makes us the same thing "we" as in the original offshoots of the GA have always been a group of committed military guilds who intend to do their best to defend gaia.

If it means that we end up in conflict before congress then so be it, we wouldnt be the first nation formed in crucible of fire...

As a side point, I dont see how an elemental items base properties decides its time table... I somehow have a feeling there will be wood (be it recycled or otherwise) for a long time to come... and I still have the slightest inclination that it will be flamable at that point in time as well. ))

((Im not a peticularly big fan of them either, but that has no relavance here. In all fairness whether I like Gundams, or Mechs,or TA's, elementals, Arm Slaves, or the pure Incarnate summoned form of Gasara; has no real relavance here... neither really does the GG beyond the fact that if he intends to Roleplay here he has to understand this is our turf and thus paradigm rests with the organization not an individual group.

as T-Boss put it "They choose to RP with us" so im assumeing they understand the timeline we are involved in. I simply would like to confirm that they understand that and OOC find out how this will all work out so we dont have a similar encounter to the following one.

A: "My army marches through the mountain pass onto gaian native soul where they begin to rape and pilliage"

B: "From above the village a passing orbital carrier craft recieved the updated thermal images of the beginning conflict below and ordered a massive scramble of all aerospace fighters. as the craft began to scorch through the atmosphere their weapon systems began to wake from their slumber readying for the impending battle."
