"Something with wings" Oliver replied, everyone in his family but him had wings and he'd developed a certain fondness for them. The Unicorn boy was excited to see everything that was here but he wanted to see something with wings first.

"Mm, birds and bugs then." Kyin agreed, taking the unicorn child's hand and leading him down the hall to those sections. The two ended up at a crossroads - a hall of birds and whatnot down one way, and a hall of insects down another.
"Which do you wanna go see first, Oli?"

Oliver shrugged not preferring either one, the blond boy's tail flicking behind him slowly." Dunno" Both would be nice he was sure and Oliver trusted Kyin to pick for him. The pink haired male was the quiet second leader of their herd. The child's ears flicked back and forth listening to the sounds coming from both directions, equally interesting

The man thought for a moment before pointing them towards the hall with the bugs. "If they're too creepy, we can go back the other way." Kyin assured him, showing his son into the room with the bugs flying about. There was a rather burly muscular man in the room but besides them that was it.
"Just look around, Oli." he said gently.

" I'm not afriad of bugs" Oliver mumbled as he nodded and stepped away from Kyin to look at some of the flying insects. Honest he wasn't it was just that sometimes the bugs looked like evil alien like he saw on tv late at night when he got up for drinks or to pee. Flying ones were sure to be pretty and interesting though.
The unicorn child ignored the other occupant of the room for the most part focused more on the strange hypnotizing patterns on the wings of some of the things he was seeing " Looks like they painted them"

Kyin nodded, petting the boy's hair lightly. "It does." he agreed.
The pair were so entranced with the bugs flying all around them that they didn't notice what the other person in the room was doing. It wasn't until a rather loud explosion and the man dashed out. Kyin blinked, a bunch of the employees looking in to see what happened. Quickly, the pink haired male walked over with his son to investigate what was left.
In place of the bug that'd been floating near the escaped man was a baby.

Oliver had his ears pinned to his head the loud noise having startled the little boy rather badly. Never mind that suddenly there were employed coming in and .. a baby? Summoning up his courage Oliver darted forward to look at the boy that had been left behind when the weird man had left the room. Who just left babies behind, even if they came from nowhere? Who made bugs explode?

Kyin knelt and lifted up the little one, bouncing him a bit. The boy was exceptionally small, save for his wings, and he seemed very scared. Gently rocking him, the man pet Oliver's hair to try and calm the little unicorn a bit. "Come on, Oli. We need to get this little one home."

" You're stealing a baby?" That was wrong you didn't just steal babies especially ones that came from explosions. Of course he wasn't quite sure who the winged boy belonged to but it wasn't them. his tail flicked nervously behind him brushing the floor. The baby was cute just like his Desmene but that still wasn't a reason to steal it.

"It's not stealing, sweetie. This is a lab and that person just left the baby here. They can't take care of it. Plus, don't you remember how your brother got Nero?" he asked, petting the boy's hair again.

" Why is somebody exploding things and leaving babies behind?" Oliver asked in confusion. Why did they keep making weird animal babies? " Can I hold him." He was the big brother after all.

Kyin laughed quietly. "Well I wouldn't know, but we should probably get out of here so they can clean this up." he said gently, handing the baby down to Oliver.

Oliver carefully held his new sibling firmly to his chest the way he'd been taught to with Desmene, once again being mindful of the other's wings. though he was happy to have another little brother to teach and protect it made the unicorn boy a little sad that he didn't seem to quite fit the winged theme of his family. " What're we gonna call him?"

"You can pick that. Think about it on the way home." the man intoned softly. He'd have to see about finding a way for Oliver to fly or the poor boy would be left out of a lot as the years went on.
