It was late, dark clouds covered the moon this night. There was a cold breeze in the air. You had to pity him--the person meeting the Azoulais, I mean.

"Will he..."

"If you're going to ask, Jaella found the right house." Aaron said, with a sigh. He was getting used to this question by now. "And he'll show up. It's cold tonight, he may be a little late."

The girl frowned slightly, and leaned back on the rock which she was perched on. This was their newest experiment. Up until now, they (they meaning Darcy) had never made a male pregnant. The teenager had succeeded in it, and was expecting him to show up anytime.

Darcy stood up to greet him. "Mr. Szekal?" She greeted, taking his hand and shaking it. "It's an honor to meet you." Then she bent down, and seemingly spoke to his stomach. "And an honor to meet, you as well." She said, with a smile. "Strong and healthy, just as planned."

Aaron sighed, and shook his head. Did Darcy go out of her way to confuse people? Of course, she had an excuse this time. This was new--he was the first of perhaps many men who would be blessed in this fashion. "Mr. Szekal," He started. "We'd like to ask if you have any questions."

Darcy and her brother exchanged a look. The first male they'd ever blessed, and he didn't have any questions? That was puzzling. "Mr. Skekal, maybe you should reconsider." The girl started. "You don't know how the child will grow, what abilities she may have--or..." The teenager paused, and frowned.

"What we mean, Mr. Szekal...Noel.." It was as if it took Aaron a great effort for him to say the man's name. "Not even we know how this child will develop. We've never blessed a man before--it works theorically--"

Great, now he was sounding like Darcy.

"We don't know what will happen." Darcy finished.

"It's hard to say." Darcy admitted. "As I have said, this has never happened before. We base our knowledge off of our other children--they all function norm."

"They all have special traits." Aaron continued. "Talents, powers." He paused. "We won't know what your daughter's ability will be until she's born..." The boy must have been tired, that was two almost slip-ups in less than an hour.

"She'll be born tomorrow." Darcy said bluntly. "Nine o'clock in the morning, Mr. Szekal. When you get home, I suggest you get some rest and pack neccesties."

Darcy fought the urge of rolling her eyes. For good reason. Beings as she was the creator of her 'experiments', she was the one who knew all. She was their god, in a sense. In a I-know-exactly-when-you'll-be-born kind of sense. She opened her mouth to say something...

Aaron saved her, and the man, from any remark she would have made. "My sister always knows when a child is going to be born." He promised. "Make sure you're ready. Pack all you'll need, rest as much as you can tonight."

"C-Section." Darcy said promptly, in response to the man's supposed curiousity. "You cannot deliver naturally, you do not have the advantages women do." She paused. "We do not give our secrets." She said, mysteriously.

"You've been blessed. That is really all we can say." Aaron supplied.

Darcy opened her mouth to answer, then shut it. This was one of the rare moments in which she didn't have an answer. "Hm....that would be a problem, wouldn't it?" she muttered, tapping a finger to her lips.

Aaron tried to hide the momentary strike of worry. His sister didn't know? That couldn't be good.... "Perhaps you could make special arrangements at a hospital? With a confidentiality agreement to avoid media attention?" he suggested. Hey, it was the best he could come up with!

Darcy blinked. She had no idea what this paparazzi thing was, but she was not going to let it attack her experiment or its parent. "Well, if it's going to attack you, I can always loan you Aaron. He's rather efficient as a guard." She might have been joking....but her tone was dead serious.

Aaron face-palmed, sighing. "Not like that, Darcy. I will explain later." he said, trying not to laugh at his sister's comment. He then looked to Noel, offering a small smile. "That is good. Though, if you find yourself in need of assistance, all you need to do is let us know. We will do our best to help."
