The following people are allowed to post here and visit this thread:
Of course, both Lucky Clover and Sky are automatically allowed to do with this journal what they please, since they brought Kinkade to life in the first place.
Anyone with a Harowiin is allowed to post IC here, as long as it's for RP purposes.
Anyone not posting for IC purposes needs to use OOC brackets, or notification so we know it's OOC.
Anyone that can pick up a pencil and draw will do us Kinkade art. Now. whee
Those wishing to give gifts can do so in OOC, unless the gift is actually coming from the Harowiin. Then it's best to give it to Kinkade IC. <3

 Story:
The little creature that would become known as Goblin cared for the fanged lollipop for quite some time. Sunrise to sunset, he'd tow the candy around with him everywhere he went, careful not to damage it in any way, shape, or form.
One day, however, he awoke to find a small, disoriented vampire boy sitting atop the fluffy, overstuffed cushion the lollipop had been on the previous night. Frantic, and ready to attack the child for murdering the lollipop, the creature lunged forward, only to find that there was a certain familiarity to the boy. He sniffed at his feet and hands for a moment, squeaked with delight, and curled up next to the child, nuzzling at his side.
Of course, the boy became known as Kinkade, and the Goblin was his familiar, appropriately christened as 'Goblin'. With an extreme hunger for books, knowledge, and the companionship of other Harowiin, Kinkade attempted to wander about as much as he was able. On days when he didn't quite feel like going outdoors, he was always found within the libray of the large, outdated, dusty house the duo inhabited, reading though a book as quickly as he possibly could.
Curiosity, however, could easily be Kinkade's downfall. He sticks his nose in business frequently that others quite possibly might want left alone - naivity is an adjective one could use to describe him with.

Kinkade's Familiar: Kinkade has a small, greyish-blue goblin familiar. The goblin's gender is currently unkown, as no one has really interacted with the creature to find out. The same is true for the goblin's name.
It is believed that the goblin will grow with Kinkade, but that cannot prove to be true until he changes stages.
Though Kinkade has now grown to childhood, the goblin still finds itself nameless - though the gender of the creature is assumed to be male. The goblin is very clingy towards Kinkade, but still watches over him as he did when the vampire was a lollipop.
Since he's nameless, as Kinkade finds himself at a loss every time he attempts to christen the poor little guy, he's begun to call him simply "goblin" for now. Seems he's a very creative little vampire.

 Kinkade's Place of Residence
The gorgeous house still hasn't been thoroughly explored, though this much is still known: the outside, the house is old and Victorian in appearance. Thick, blue velvet curtains sheild the windows, black lace trimming the cloth for decoration. The porch could stand to have some work done to it, but the rest of the house seems to be in fair condition, to say the least.
The wood used to build the house is sturdy and obviously good enough for the house not to be condemned. Termites have apparently avoided the boards for whatever reason. Though there are no critters running asround in the planks, there is ivy creeping up the sides in places, adding for a quite artistic appearance.
The house itself is three stories in height, though the third level is small, and is mostly an outdoor balcony area, similar to a widow's walk. The inside rooms haven't been fully explored yet, but the information on them will be added once Kinkade sets his eyes upon them.
The walkway leading up to the house isn't necessarily inviting. Overgrown wild roses litter the yard in places, and though they make the house look rather intriguing, it isn't an appearance that begs for one to come closer.
From what Kinkade cares to note, the rooms are very magnificent and elegant. Most everything is hardwood and velvet, and books line shelves that seem to be in every room. Paintings adorn the walls, especially in the main parlor, and a fire is usually lit in the den, though Kinkade tends to stay a good distance away from it, for obvious reasons.
The library is one of the most massive rooms within the house. Books ranging from ancient to quite current fill the walls, waiting for their spines to be touched and for their pages to mean something once more.
The kitchen, frankly, is rather plain. It looks very sterile and not quite so homely, and only holds a few snacks for the goblin creature Kinkade calls his familiar. Kinkade's food is...well...kept elsewhere.
Kinkade's favorite room - his - is made up of cushiony fabric and a large, four-poster bed with velvet curtains similar to the ones lining the windows. Two mirrors can be found in the room - narcissistic little guy he is - and several books tend to be found lying open near the bed. He's quite an avid reader.

No, it's not true that vampires don't show up on film. In fact, Kinkade is quite photogenic as of now.

Those that Kinkade is fond of:
Victor
Kinkade met Victor for a breif time. He is intrigued by the mysterious Harowiin, and is very interested to see how his ability changes and works over the time while he grows. So far, he has no reason to dislike him.
Madison
Intimidated, Kinkade finds that Madison isn't quite like the other Harowiin he's met. She seems friendly enough - but apparently has a haunting past that Kinkade is almost frightened to get tangled up with. However, Kinkade has an incredible curiosity for her that can only be appeased with conversation and time around her.
Sky
Since Sky seems to replicate Kinkade's interests with his own, he adores this Harowiin. He is very intrigued by him, and appreciates that he treats Goblin as another entity, and not just some animal.
Probably Kinkade's first real friend, he hopes that he and Sky will never lose said friendship. Such a bond is an asset Kinkade knows would be foolish to let dissipate.

Date: October 27th In a quite unusual fashion, a petite goblin lay sleeping, its body wrapped protectively around a opaqe, shimmering lollipop. Due to the fact that the season was nearing All Hallow's Eve, the day when gremlins, ghouls, and spooks were quite prominent, the little creature probably didn't get a second glance as it slept contentedly upon the bit of candy.
With a little yawn, it awoke, rose to its full height (which didn't seem to be much - apparently, this little being was fairly young), and looked around with piercing eyes. Emitting a strange noise, it then gathered up its lollipop prize and retreated through a small hole into the house it apparently haunted.

Date: November 1 Though Halloween was now over and done with, the little goblin previously haunting the porch of the house was sitting upon the warped boards once more. As previously, it seemed to be guarding the little lollipop - however, it was now gnawing on a chocolate bar, which was easily as big as the little creature itself.
It took it a substantial amount of time to polish off the treat. Upon consuming it all, he promptly retreated into a dark, spiderwebbed corner of the porch and flopped over with a suprisingly cute grunt, cuddling the lollipop close.

Kinkade sat upon the small cushion that his familiar had placed for him on the ground and began to read aloud from The Scarlet Letter. He had read this book before, but his little goblin was itching to be read to.
The message of the book was deep, and somewhat scandulous for someone of such a little age, but that didn't bother Kinkade. He devoured books as soon as he got his little hands on them. His goblin also seemed to appreciate it.
After his familiar had fallen asleep, Kinkade gently shut the book, laid it down next to him, and promptly fell asleep himself.

Lounging upon the corner of his rather run-down in appearance porch, Kinkade was trying his hardest to teach some sense to the little goblin familiar. He'd not yet come up with a proper name for the creature, even, and had really just begun calling him 'Goblin' for the time being.
Frustrated as he was, he realized that he couldn't be mad at the adorable little being no matter how hard he tried.
Instead, he continued to gently coax the goblin into learning tricks as one would similarly attempt to teach a puppy -
"Speak?" Kinkade attemped, looking partially hopeful, a little wince across his face.
Much to his surprise, Goblin let out a little chirping noise, and began to defiantely run about in circles. He finally stopped abruptly, picked up a twig, and waved it above his head, making little battle cries as he dashed forward and proceeded to murder Kinkade's shoe.

Chuckling, Kinkade bent down to pick up the attacking fiend, narrowly avoiding getting his glimmering cobalt eyes poked out. He carefully took the twig from the murderous Goblin's clingy hands and set it aside.
"You've got to be hungry..." He murmured soothingly to the creature, rubbing his bald little head gently. "I'm not really sure what you like to eat, as I never see you consume anything..." He paused and frowned slightly. Hopefully he hadn't starved the poor thing. "...maybe if I let you loose in the kitchen, you'll find something there."
The Goblin seemed pleased by this, and chirped and grunted in response. In an offhand manner, Kinkade wondered if he'd ever be able to speak like Harowiins could. With that, he opened the large wooden door to the house and disappeared inside, hoping that he'd be able to help the poor little Goblin soothe his hungry stomach.
